For starters, the showers hot water does not work. Even after following all of the instructions.
No one answers the phone in reception or the restaurant.
I called 3 times for assistance and no one could would help me with what I needed. They did not even try to assist, they would just say no.
Overall, this would probably be the last time I visit this hotel. I would rather pay more money for a hotel that can assist their customers and put their happiness into consideration.
On this note, some of the staff in the restaurant were friendly and catering.

Negatives:
- The hotel reception was not very welcoming.
- There were no bathroom amenities available in the room.
- We had to call the reception desk twice to send an iron box, which was taken back immediately.
- The bathroom is highly inconvenient. The tub is small with no handle bars to support when getting into. The shower curtain is useless. The bathroom floor is completely wet every time after a bath in the tub.
- The reception desk does not answer calls immediately and does not return calls.
- There are no bathroom slippers provided by the hotel (which is quite common in other hotels). When asked for it, they do commit that they will provide but then no one turns up.
- There are no tissue boxes provided in the room.
- Towel count is different after a make my room.
- The shower tap is too short and very near to the wall, making us stand very near to the edge of the tub with no handle bars to hold on to.
Positives:
- The hotel was reasonably priced since we booked early.
- The restaurant hospitality is commendable. Staff is very courteous, warm and friendly.
- Easy access to taxi facilities.
Overall I do not highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a first time experience at Abu Dhabi especially with a family.
