-The toilet flush broke down twice in a week in 2 different rooms.
One of the taps could not be closed easily. You had to twist it at a certain angle, otherwise the water would keep running.
+the rooms look pretty. The receptionists are nice and there to help you. The cleaning lady is very nice as well

We used to visit this hotel when it went via its former name, the Grand Hotel Musala. When Lubomir was in charge, and it was good, the best in town. We stopped off for a quick coffee this Sunday as we were walking by. Sat in the atrium for 5 minutes. I went to ask the lady behind the reception desk, and she said she would call a colleague. The colleague stormed in and said they were closed (they were open 2 minutes before that), then rudely left. Not enjoying being spoken to in such a manner, we went inside and asked for her name, which she refused to give. We asked for the manager's name, but they refused to give it as well. All the while being rude, defensive, and obnoxious (she was slumped in a chair during this exchange). This place is a throwback to the 90s and should be closed down. It is an embassment to the entire service industry. Here is the member of staff in question, talking to us, the clients. Avoid this "hotel" or its bar and stay somewhere else instead.

Maybe it is me who expected too much when I saw this hotel as being a 5 star rated hotel, but our room was dirty, we found bugs and spiders. It has a bad smell and it is not the place to go to if you have asthma problems.

5 (five) ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐? How? I'm profound disappointed and frustrated with the conditions encountered during my recent stay at your hotel in Varna, Bulgaria. As someone who had been looking forward to a relaxing vacation, was shocked by the state of the room and overall cleanliness of the hotel. From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that the facility was not up to the standard expected. The overwhelming smell of mustiness and decay was unbearable, indicating that the hotel has not been properly maintained. Additionally, there was a pervasive and nauseating smell of insect killer that lingered throughout our stay. Furthermore, the room was unacceptably dirty. Dust covered the surfaces, and there were clear signs that it had not been cleaned thoroughly, if at all, before my arrival. To make matters worse, discovered multiple bugs and spiders in the room, which only added to our discomfort. The combination of a dirty room and the overwhelming insecticide smell made the stay intolerable.

Hotel is showing his age. Overpriced (140 eur per night) for the room quality and age. Spa and gym not working from Covid times.

The rooms are huge but no power sockets near bed! It is extremely uncomfortable. I had to stay on the floor to charge my phone. Some of the staff were polite and helpful and others quite rude. I also got robbed in front of the hotel so be careful

Fantastic hotel, very helpful staff and great location. Only downside: the restaurant doesn't work, but there's a lovely pizza place across the street.
Piece of advice: get rid of any items bearing the old name of the hotel, it doesn't look good.

Good hotel in the center of Varna. But the prices for 1 night unfortunately are expensive.

The rooms were amazing! Huge!
Service was not so good during the day, but the night manager was excellent. During the day, it was quite an effort to get anything out for the receptions staff other than a grunt.
Breakfast was diabolical. Dirty table clothes even at the beginning of breakfast and very poor service. Breakfast itself was not good. The eggs Benedict was almost inedible.
