Hugo Hotel

Very nice, clean and central hotel in the heart of Varna. I recommend it definetely, the breakfast was good, the room was spacy and the food was amazing. It is near the Sea Garden in Varna and close to every place in the city. I will definetely come again, because I am really very happy with this hotel and its staff. The room was big, and the bathroom very good. Go and visit it, you will never regret!

Great location, bed are very comfortable, clean and quiet. A little bit of bad smell in bathroom from shower, maybe was a bad luck. Breakfast was perfect, better than many other places. Divers fruits, good coffee, cereals, cheese, eggs, butter, sweets, etc. Keep up the good job!

I stayed at this place for one night during a business trip. The room was nice and soundproof, which was a plus. The only downside was the shower area with sliding doors that allowed water to escape, creating a bit of a mess. The breakfast was very minimal, but it was all right. On the bright side, the reception staff were quite friendly and helpful.

It was quite near to the main entrance of the sea garden. The staff was very kind and always paying attention. The breakfast was quite good - clean and delicious.

Small but excellent hotel. Very clean with good amenities and helpful staff. Perfect location, close to the beach, the Roman baths, the Archaeological Museum, and the big square at the conference centre .

Pros: The hotel is located minutes away from city center and the beach. We arrived earlier than 2 pm, but check in was possible and all receptionists were very nice and helpful during our stay.
No hotel parking was available (booking a spot in advance is recommended), but we managed to find a place right in front of the hotel.
The rooms are clean and big enough (flat tv, fridge, good matress) and the hotel comes with an elevator.
Room comes with a mini bar and free toiletries - shower gel, shampoo, soap, conditioner and shower cap, but also a brush for your shoes.

Cons: Although breakfast was included, the food didn't look so fresh. Buffet is offered and you can find cereals, fruits and veggies, boiled and scrambled eggs, some cheese and cold cuts, coffee, orange juice and tea.
Because hotel allows pets, during our first day and night we had a dog near our room, but he barked for around 20 minutes, maximum.
The rooms are placed next to each other and any noise from the hallway can be heard. Still, during night was ok.
We booked a double room/double bed and we got two twin beds next to each other, with 2 blankets.
Bathroom has a small opaque glass and during mornings natural light comes through, so if you hate light, this might be a problem.
