Worst food i have ever tried, nothing is fresh, the food tasteless and disgusting, i booked all inclusive breakfast lunch and dinner, and i just ate outside because the food is trash, Prison food would taste better probably. Rooms are good and the location is good, 0 stars for food

Spent two weeks here in June 2024. Our room was well presented overlooking the Black Sea with a large balcony. Pity about the neon advertising board on top of the Lighthouse Steakhouse opposite which continued twenty four hours, day and night shining its light onto the balcony. Loud music, from a nearby venue was heard in our room, booming out until midnight. None of this the fault of the hotel. Situated a short walk to the beach the location was spot on. Breakfast was good both in quality and quantity but dinner could be a bit hit and miss. No other British tourists to be seen at the resort of Golden Sands, mainly Bulgarian, Romanian and German. Overall a pleasant holiday in the sun was enjoyed.

I've never encountered a hotel with room more disgusting. In the room it was smelling of sewage, the toilet was dirty and smelling, the room was full of spider webs. When we requested to clean properly the room, they've just add a toilet soap and that's all. They didn't changed the towels, I asked to take the rubbish and requested for toilet rolls. At the checkout, they wanted to charge me for the used towel, as it was of course after three days dirty. The food was average, but ok as long as you don't have high expectations, the only plus is the location, as it's 3 minutes from the beach.

Don't recommend this hotel.Firstly, they gave us a room with broken air conditioner and dirty floor and bed linen on the last floor, no wifi. I had to argue and talk to the manager to get another room. They did change it, in another room the air conditioning was new and it was cleaner and as promised with wifi from the pool. The smell of the water in the bathroom was disgusting the whole time and the room is small and pretty close to the bathroom so basically you feel it all the time.
I would say that it qualifies for a 2 star hotel as compared to my previous experience with 3 star hotels.
The breakfast food was not of very good quality, the drinks were outright disgusting, they probably use tap water to make those, so they had the taste of the swamp :(

I was there last summer absolute horror. The rooms were dirty and unygienic. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The floor carpet is dirty. The beds and covers partly dirty. They asked us for money when we checked out because we were accused of using the minibar even though we hadn't taken anything. We were threatened with the police, we persisted and then they gave up. We stayed in the lobby after checking out and heard a family arguing with the staff because they had been accused of using the minibar. It is probably standard that they try to rip off the guests there.

the biggest plus: it is located 20m from the beach and it is cheap. there are at most 15 parking spots for 14 floors x 12 rooms! call to reserve a spot... oh, wait, surprise, they don't hold it for you!!! the rooms are ok, pretty big, most of them with a side view to the sea. the bathroom is pretty small. only the rooms down the corridor have nice, big bathrooms. the pool is very-very small, but you don't want to be there anyway as the water is always freezing cold. breakfast used to be great (back in 2017), but in 2021... not so good (with only a few things to choose from and 99% the same everyday). the cleaning lady did not change (or take) our towel even though it was dirty and we put it on the floor - she put it back near the clean ones... i'll give it 3* because of what it was, than what it is (better services 4 years ago)
