3 star hotels in Golden Sands

Spent two weeks here in June 2024. Our room was well presented overlooking the Black Sea with a large balcony. Pity about the neon advertising board on top of the Lighthouse Steakhouse opposite which continued twenty four hours, day and night shining its light onto the balcony. Nothing to complain. Read other reviews. Breakfast coffee sucks. Eggs and bacon are OK. Rooms are OK but some of the toilets suck with flushing (several rooms experience, group of 10). The view of our room was amazing. Ac is good. If your sleeping long in your room service will skip your room. For a 3-star it was ok. WiFi is slow. Staff is helpful.

Very nice place, with swimming pool , clean, personal very friendly and also pet friendly. The food satisfies any test, All food served was fresh, good quality and the range can cover anyone test. Very close with the beach, and closed with main attraction of the place. Real value for money, definitely I will come again next summer. I highly recommend.

Bad sanitation... the cleaner didn't want to do his job, also apartment with broken doors and shower. Very dirty, beds are nasty.

The hotel overall is okay like a 3 star hotel but mostly is poorly maintained. Not only the rooms but especially the bathrooms. They have nice view to the outside pool but furniture are cheap and the food of all inclusive was not so great but it's okay maybe for the season and that price. The staff is very nice and helpful 👍

The hotel is amazing for its price range, the staff is very friendly, the food is also pretty good. Rooms are also well maintained and cleaned daily on request. The beach is not the best, but close by you have multiple very nice beaches on a 10 minute drive. You can take 9/109/409 to the Center.

We booked the all inclusive experience, and for the money we paid, I believe it was very good. Yes, the bathroom was very small and there was a bad smell sometimes, but only inside the bathroom, in the room there was no smell. Very friendly and helpful staff, big portions of tasty food. It's clean and tidy, rooms are cleaned and towels/sheets are changed every 3 days. It's not busy during covid.

Absolute gem of a hotel and experience - quiet, affordable with incredible park and brand new pool! Approximately 15m by car from Varna and 5 from Golden sands! The staff was super kind and helpful when we needed directions and the food was amazing. Our rooms were clean and bright, we woke up with the sunrise above the coast!

The rooms are OK, the hotel is understaffed.. So the services are slow. The biggest letdown is that is far away from the beach, and there are no roadsigns to guide you and the roads are quite convoluted.

The hotel needs urgently a renewal. Regarding the food: you get what you have paid. Hotel Pliska offers good prices, in consequence the quality of the food and drinks is low. The receptionist of today was friendly and professional. Would I come again? Currently not, first they need to renew all rooms.

Nice hotel . Constantly we went to last time we made a comment that I want 3 glasses of whiskey at the same time! The hotel is not something special . It could have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the food, which was disgusting. The service is incredible - the staff is extremely kind, they greet you when they see you and care about what you want. The hotel rooms are modern and spacious and the open balconies are nice and sunny with lots of place to sit and a great view. Stayed in one of the 2 larger 2 room apartment and loved the huge terrace balcony. Rooms were clean but carpet starting to show age. Food was good if a bit repetitive on the vegetable options. Main courses ranged from ok to great. It is a bit of a walk to beach, about 10 minutes to the free Riviera beach zones.

The hotel it's near the sand dunes, not far away from the beach, and kids liked it here. The staff was very careful with protection measures against Covid 19

The hotel was 5 minutes to sea. You have to walk over the road to go by beach. I liked everything about the hotel except the hygiene. The first day i couldnt sleep because of the smell . 5 star to the hotel manager! He changed our room into a bigger and better one because first one had a light smell, our card broke into the pocket( our fault) and he replaced with any supplementary charges. Bravo to the manager who knows how to keep guests happy🫡

The garden is just exquisite! The restaurant outside is really pleasant and even though the base is old it is quite clean and pleasant.

Pleasant place with very good service. There is a nice garden here with a lot of trees. The private beach is a small one, but it is good for the mornings. In the afternoon it is shaded.
