Where to stay in Golden Sands

The hotel has nice rooms, sufficiently large with spacious and well-equipped bathrooms. However, the restaurant could offer a wider selection of dishes. I recommend using the Al Dente restaurant and placing an order to your room (once per stay). Unfortunately, the hotel has a shortage of pools, which are therefore overcrowded most of the time. Fortunately, there is also a large indoor pool available...

2 things that I do not like: 1. The tourists that leave their towels in the sunbeds to “occupy” their seat. Maybe you should consider making a beach only for level tourists. 2. The cocktails have a weird taste in a paper cup. Maybe you should consider serving them in glasses.

It is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a family vacation. The rooms are spacious and very clean, every day they come to clean and change the towels. The food is good and varied. They have artistic programs every day, clean pools, quality sunbeds and in 2 minutes you reach the beach. Hotel staff is very kind. We felt wonderful, we will definitely come back.

Hotel is rather dated. The room was clean enough but nothing special. We chose ‘the level’ and were glad that we did. It gave us access to a separate pool (the main pool was overcrowded and there were not enough sunbeds. There was constant music pumping out from speakers there as well). Rooms are big and very clean. Big bathroom and good toiletries. Staff is friendly and speaks good English. Limited parking available and quite expensive. The food was very repetitive over the course of a week and also the food did not taste very well. The hadd very few vegetarian alternatives, which resulted in some people almost only eating fries for the duration of the stay.

So, we booked this room, the amount charged was one night before arrival, and two nights after arrival, and upon check out the amount payed for 1 night was not reimbursed, as the receptionist said. The hotel is great, deserves 5 stars, decent food, helpful staff, good spa and pool services. The only issue we had was the fact it was way too noisy! There is a club right in front of the hotel which closes at 2 AM every night, with very loud music so we really could not sleep earlier than that. It's a great place to stay and enjoy the Golden Sands holiday area. The service is great and friendly with a nice environment. The prices in the Café are a bit overpriced, but considering the high season, it could be acceptable. The clean level is high as well. Thanks to all staff that keeps Admiral on high level for holidays.

Amazing place. The rooms are very modern and clean. Many facilities, beachfront with the hotel own swimming pool between the hotel and the hotel private beach. Food was outstanding and diverse. We really enjoyed our stay at Admiral Hotel and we will definitely come back.

Wonderful hotel to spend a summer vacation! Perfect location on a first line, just few meters from the beach. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed regularly. The staff is mainly young and motivated people, that are very helpful and professional. I and my mother are among the regular visitors, enjoying hotel Lilia twice each summer for many years now. Good place on a good price!

The place is georgious , the hotel is almoust on the beach , it can be hear how the waves hit the sand. The stuff is kind , if wee ask something they help without any problem. The food is ok 'a la carte ' menu as usual when you choose all inclusive . The cleaning in the restaurant can be upgraded. Like price value compare I can say it worth it. I would recomend it.

3star for location, because I do not like the Golden sands, I just had an offer for a discount. No parking places for all clients and the Golden sands have a "salty" penal parking. BUT FOR A DAY, THERE IS PAY PARKING AND GREAT KIDS ATTRACTIONS BY THE ⛵🌊! I prefer St. Konstantin and Elena.

We were guests here 3 weeks ago, I'm gonna give it a 5 star for the dilligent people who worked very hard. There are some issues that need to be adressed in the future ( wifi signal is really bad, the restaurant is crowded, and sometimes you wouldn't find a free table) but these were small obstacles. Wonderful hotel with great staff and delicious All Inclusive. We (familiy with 8 years old son) stayed for 3 days in June 2021 in Suite with Sea view. The hotel is located close to the beach. The menu is varied, it is advisable to add dairy products for breakfast. The room is clean.

Such a great location, good food, great service. But maybe the worst rooms I've ever seen. Old, decrepit, with spider webs, cracks, ants... The photos you see on websites and booking are of the best rooms, but out of 5 rooms that my group had, all of them had either these issues, or bad sewer smell. The hotel was ok for the money. The food was average. It wasn't that far from the beach. I didn't like the parking situation. They charge you 20 leva/day for what? Parking in the street? It looks medium class hotel. Food some days was good, some days very bad... Location a little bit far from beach, but its no problem, because hotel have van who can bring to the beach evry hour. It's a great value hotel, the rooms are big and clean, plenty of food and drinks, there is a nice pool. My taste in food and the bulgarian taste are not the same but this is not something that I can hold against them. I've stayed in a deluxe room, which was great because there's plenty of space and has a view to the sea, even though not the greatest, since the hotel is about 450m from the shore. Arena Mar is a 2 years old hotel, they build it very fast. Service is smiled and kind even some times too much. Food is all inclusive no much choice of food. Interior is superb. Overall this is a family hotel. Nice place for relax.

Absolute gem of a hotel and experience - quiet, affordable with incredible park and brand new pool! Approximately 15m by car from Varna and 5 from Golden sands! The staff was super kind and helpful when we needed directions and the food was amazing. Our rooms were clean and bright, we woke up with the sunrise above the coast!

A bit away from the beach but a fine place

The rooms are OK, the hotel is understaffed.. So the services are slow. The biggest letdown is that is far away from the beach, and there are no roadsigns to guide you and the roads are quite convoluted.

I had a really wonderful vacation in the Riviera Hotel. The check-in went smooth and fast. The room was clean with the beautiful seaview. There were a lot of choices for lunch and dinner. I recently stayed and enjoyed its beautiful beach, comfortable rooms, lovely green areas, and inviting pools. However, I was disappointed by the lack of good quality coffee and the average food options. Another inconvenience was the absence of drinking water in the rooms. Additionally the WiFi stability is not great.
