Hotels in Golden Sands

The hotel has nice rooms, sufficiently large with spacious and well-equipped bathrooms. However, the restaurant could offer a wider selection of dishes. I recommend using the Al Dente restaurant and placing an order to your room (once per stay). Unfortunately, the hotel has a shortage of pools, which are therefore overcrowded most of the time. Fortunately, there is also a large indoor pool available...

2 things that I do not like: 1. The tourists that leave their towels in the sunbeds to “occupy” their seat. Maybe you should consider making a beach only for level tourists. 2. The cocktails have a weird taste in a paper cup. Maybe you should consider serving them in glasses.

It is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a family vacation. The rooms are spacious and very clean, every day they come to clean and change the towels. The food is good and varied. They have artistic programs every day, clean pools, quality sunbeds and in 2 minutes you reach the beach. Hotel staff is very kind. We felt wonderful, we will definitely come back.

Hotel is rather dated. The room was clean enough but nothing special. We chose ‘the level’ and were glad that we did. It gave us access to a separate pool (the main pool was overcrowded and there were not enough sunbeds. There was constant music pumping out from speakers there as well). Rooms are big and very clean. Big bathroom and good toiletries. Staff is friendly and speaks good English. Limited parking available and quite expensive. Food is not so good, basically the cheapest ingredients available. There is lots of it but you can barely find something which tastes good. The food was very repetitive over the course of a week and also the food did not taste very well. The hadd very few vegetarian alternatives, which resulted in some people almost only eating fries for the duration of the stay.

So, we booked this room, the amount charged was one night before arrival, and two nights after arrival, and upon check out the amount payed for 1 night was not reimbursed, as the receptionist said. We wanted a balcony, we received one without. Second, the ac was not working, we had to stay at 27.5-28 degree in the room. The hotel is great, deserves 5 stars, decent food, helpful staff, good spa and pool services. The only issue we had was the fact it was way too noisy! There is a club right in front of the hotel which closes at 2 AM every night, with very loud music so we really could not sleep earlier than that. It's a great place to stay and enjoy the Golden Sands holiday area. The service is great and friendly with a nice environment. The prices in the Café are a bit overpriced, but considering the high season, it could be acceptable. The clean level is high as well. Thanks to all staff that keeps Admiral on high level for holidays.

Amazing place. The rooms are very modern and clean. Many facilities, beachfront with the hotel own swimming pool between the hotel and the hotel private beach. Food was outstanding and diverse. We really enjoyed our stay at Admiral Hotel and we will definitely come back.

Great location and free parking and umbrellas on the beach for guests and private pool

Clean beach and water, great food, exceptional services. The parking place was far from the hotel, so make sure you take everything you need from it. The pool was very much liked by the big kids, but the one for small kids is small and deep for them. We all had fun, adults, kids, babies.

Wonderful hotel to spend a summer vacation! Perfect location on a first line, just few meters from the beach. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed regularly. The staff is mainly young and motivated people, that are very helpful and professional. I and my mother are among the regular visitors, enjoying hotel Lilia twice each summer for many years now. Good place on a good price!

The place is georgious , the hotel is almoust on the beach , it can be hear how the waves hit the sand. The stuff is kind , if wee ask something they help without any problem. The food is ok 'a la carte ' menu as usual when you choose all inclusive . The cleaning in the restaurant can be upgraded. Like price value compare I can say it worth it. I would recomend it.

3star for location, because I do not like the Golden sands, I just had an offer for a discount. No parking places for all clients and the Golden sands have a "salty" penal parking. BUT FOR A DAY, THERE IS PAY PARKING AND GREAT KIDS ATTRACTIONS BY THE ⛵🌊! I prefer St. Konstantin and Elena.

You have to get lucky with the rooms, some have good ac, some are just bad. The workers are okay, depends on who you get, the cleaner in the main area is just not good with people and tells and the managers do nothing about it. Fantastic for the kids (sides, pools, animation / kids club, trampolines etc), great beach nearby. However service, cleanliness of the property, food/service was okay. We would not return due to how crowded everything was - difficult to walk through Pool lounges, dinning areas, reception etc. Felt like sardines crammed into a small space most of the time.

Very nice and clean hotel, about 300 m from the beach, good food (the best vegetable cream soup I've had so far!) and diverse. Free access to the hotel's water park, outdoor pool with water slides (also has a shallow area for children), wellness center with hot tub, sauna, heated indoor pool. One of the best and high vfm hotels in the golden sands Varna. 5 minutes to the beach, new rooms, service is very good, all included, various food that suites for anyone, including vegan, clean and safe pools and spa. Lots of slides for kids, big gaming zone for all ages, billiard, pingpong etc. Arraingements with travel companies for tours, ex. jeep tours. Excellent vacation for reasonable price.

The rooms are big, they clean it everyday. Great view of the sea. Ghendo from the bar is the best. Some part of the staff from the restaurant aren't so polite, food is almost everyday the same and from the hotel to the beach you have around 120 steps.

The hotel rooms are pretty big and clean. They clean the room every day and change the towels.Food is delicious and variety. They have animation for the kids and the animation girls are very funny and full of energy. The animation staff also organized volleyball matches between tourist and that was perfect.

Bellow average hotel at Golden Sands. This resort use to be beautiful sea side place in a forest next to the beaches now just hotels next to other hotel extremely noisy and full with drunks

Very satisfied, especially with the food and views. Recommend. Star down: terrace bar closes at 10 PM and you have to go to the lobby bar, which is, given the nearby sea, far less attractive place. Possible quiet time is not a legitimate excuse as all the clubs nearby blast music well after 2 AM. Massive usage of single-use plastic and paper cups.

Not a 4-star-hotel. I stayed at the hotel in 2021. Great location, spacious rooms with balconies and good wifi. Breakfast is disastrous (we were all very glad we hadn't gotten the all-inclusive package). On a rainy day we went to see the spa, which is 2 working saunas and an indoor-pool. Closing times at 19:00 hs are questionable though. That's it, I hope this helps you decide! ;)

We were guests here 3 weeks ago, I'm gonna give it a 5 star for the dilligent people who worked very hard. There are some issues that need to be adressed in the future ( wifi signal is really bad, the restaurant is crowded, and sometimes you wouldn't find a free table) but these were small obstacles. We are second year here. The first time was just great. The second time We have some differences from whatever was in the initial offer as sea view room. The hotel is located close to the beach. The menu is varied, it is advisable to add dairy products for breakfast. The room is clean.

Such a great location, good food, great service. But maybe the worst rooms I've ever seen. Old, decrepit, with spider webs, cracks, ants... The photos you see on websites and booking are of the best rooms, but out of 5 rooms that my group had, all of them had either these issues, or bad sewer smell. "ANIMATION TEAM" these people are just bestial, friendlier and funnier people you only see in movies. What they do for the hotel is amazing, I learned their dance in just 2 days, they do their job well and due to the argument given above I think they deserve 5 stars. Ivo the animator was an amazing entertaining Guy for his age. I m glad that i've met him. He's doing a great job here. Although the hotel was pretty nice. It was close to the beach and I liked that alot. Presi the animator was the whole heart of the eveniments and them needs a rise.

The hotel was ok for the money. The food was average. It wasn't that far from the beach. I didn't like the parking situation. They charge you 20 leva/day for what? Parking in the street? Also they tried to charge me for 6 days when I only had 5 full days. It didn't work (for them), but I had to argument a lot about it. And for hotel's management, if you're reading this... It looks medium class hotel. Food some days was good, some days very bad... Location a little bit far from beach, but its no problem, because hotel have van who can bring to the beach evry hour. We got good room, big and clean. I think you get evrything for this price, but I will not come here again, because I saw better hotels for this price in Golden sands

It's a great value hotel, the rooms are big and clean, plenty of food and drinks, there is a nice pool. My taste in food and the bulgarian taste are not the same but this is not something that I can hold against them. At the same time the food variety it's not great, almost the same thing every breakfast, lunch, dinner. You mustn't expect something extraordinary but always keep in mind the price paid...

Decent,clean and friendly personnel. needs some replacement of the pool equipment (umbrellas/ deck chairs), better wifi (not paid anymore). Food was Good (didn’t try much of the offered diversity) would suggest to add “transport to/from airport” and room service. DO NOT ASK RECEPTION FOR A CAB!! the fare is around twice as high

Arena Mar is a 2 years old hotel, they build it very fast. Service is smiled and kind even some times too much. Food is all inclusive no much choice of food. Interior is superb. Overall this is a family hotel. Nice place for relax.

Amazing place!

It was a lovely stay we had at this place. Varied lunch and dinner, 4 pools to chose from, close proximity to the beach (though you will go up and down some stairs). Beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the animators of the hotel, the girls were so funny and bringing a good mood everywhere. So many thanks to Vicky, Mia and Gabi for all the heart they put into their work!

Our kids loved it, we partly too, but our Apartment had old furniture, awful smelling bathrooms and not so clean looking stained towels although they must have been washed I assume. Friendly staff, we got all the help needed, basket full of fruit as welcome gift and a good price for 10 days there end of May/beginning of June.

The place was amazing. The food was very good. We had everyday animation for the children and grown ups. The location is 5 minutes away from the beach,but it was so interesting in the hotel that we went to the beach maybe twice. There are 2 bars open at all times untill 11pm and another one that is opening during lunch and dinner. Everything was amazing.

We had a fantastic time. The location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. The rooms were a decent size but the beds were uncomfortable. Food was average but you can't complain when you're all inclusive. The animation team made our holiday they made sure everyone was entertained a big thanks to Nicky, Bobi, Yoni and Dani who were absolutely amazing, we loved joining in the games.
