Hotels on first line in Golden Sands

All the sun loungers are occupied with towels, but no one is on them until 11 AM. My only comforts were the garden at the Level (unfortunately, they have a small pool there) and the bar on the 8th floor

The alcoholic drinks were of poor quality, with the exception of the coffee. The beach bar is ugly and crowded, and the beach itself is chaotic. You can't find a spot if you arrive at 8 AM

7 out of 5 This was our second stay at Meliá Grand Hermitage, and once again it proved to be an excellent choice for a relaxing family vacation

The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the quality is consistent, which is not always the case when you return to the same place

Nice place, right next to the center of town. The hotel is big, with many facilities and a good balance between money spend ans services available. I do recommend it (keep in mind that it is not a 5 stars hotel overall)

There's a bartender named Ozge who is very nice and helpful. Luckily, at that bar, you can also find international drinks

The beach in this season is deserted and everything is closed. They have nice indoor swimming pool and a gym. Air on go only as low as 24 degrees. I was upgraded to vip floor with a nice room

I love it! The location is very well located, in the middle of the tourist resort. Nearby, there are a lot of beach bars and funny places with games for all ages. The hotel has a casino on the ground floor

They grabbed food with their bare hands, they let their kids run arround and no one from the hotel staff said anything to them. The internal pool smelled like pee

The prices at the pool bar are very high, and the breakfast is the same every day

Overall, everything is fine, it's just the age of the hotel and it's time to do some renovations.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are big and it offers you all what you need

A lot of tourists from Germany. They are very noisy. Not yet the season. You can imagine what will happen in June...

Nice hotel, very tasty food, friendly staff. Room cleaned every day, breakfasts, Lunches and dinners last for 3-3. 5 hours, no need to rush, everything at the hotel is well organized and thought out

The room are clean and are more than ok ! The animation staff are really friendly and make good job, but the barkeepers are really unfriendly, never see such unfriendly people ! The meal aren't good, happy come back home or eat out of the hotel

The hotel met our requirements, every drink in the bar was included in our ultra all inclusive price (even imported drinks), the staff was friendly (most of the time), rooms were cleaned every day etc

The foods' quality didn't meet our standards. This must be because of our family's eating habits as others had good opinions about the food. I would recommend Hotel Atlas for everyone

Fantastic for the kids (sides, pools, animation / kids club, trampolines etc), great beach nearby. However service, cleanliness of the property, food/service was okay

There is also a very nice outdoor playground and entertainers for children. Very good price-quality ratio!

Ivo the animator was an amazing entertaining Guy for his age. Although the hotel was pretty nice. It was close to the beach and I liked that alot

Everything was pretty much okay. Food is alright, it could vary a bit, but in overall kitchen staff does excellent work. Rooms are clean, we also had amazing sea view

What they do for the hotel is amazing, I learned their dance in just 2 days, they do their job well and due to the argument given above I think they deserve 5 stars

"ANIMATION TEAM" these people are just bestial, friendlier and funnier people you only see in movies

"THE BARMANS" are also very good people and very friendly and they also deserve 5 stare

Clean beach and water, great food, exceptional services. The parking place was far from the hotel, so make sure you take everything you need from it

From June 12-21, 2022 we rested in this hotel. Its most important advantage is its walking distance to the sea. Comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas

Near the pool there is a tent with ice cream. The hotel is large, consists of four buildings and, accordingly, a lot of people. The most comfortable buildings with sea views are B and C

Bar on the beach with non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, which is rare for Bulgaria. Round-the-clock lobby bar - was not at all in any hotel. The rooms are cozy, with a hair dryer and a safe

Another downside is that they don't provide beach towels. Carrying this extra luggage with you, and for such a hotel they could give out towels. In general, the hotel is good, more pluses

30 for breakfast, then there’s nowhere and nothing to eat later. The lobby bar in our building worked only from 10. 30 and in the evening we had to go to building A and stand in huge queues to get something to drink

The rooms are very modern and clean. Many facilities, beachfront with the hotel own swimming pool between the hotel and the hotel private beach. Food was outstanding and diverse

People come there to enjoy the sea and the beach, but they are not provided a place to do that!! We supposed that an ultra all inclusive package will include all services with no extra cost

Also, as expected, not enough sunbeds, not enough towels for beach

The prices in the Café are a bit overpriced, but considering the high season, it could be acceptable. The clean level is high as well. Thanks to all staff that keeps Admiral on high level for holidays

Looks amazing and it's very close to the beach, which makes it very attractive.

The hotel can acomodate a huge number of people, but there are not enough sunbeds, so you have to chase a place with a big chance to not finding one at 8 am in the morning

Just peace and quiet for families with children. The personnel can speak Russian. There are a few bars if you come without children. Very close to the sea, leaving from the hotel you will be right on the beach

I love being on this beach, the staff are friendly, and I always feel safe and protected because they are always walking around, the only thing is that there are not enough mattresses provided

Hotel Arabella is the perfect place if you’re looking for a fun, energetic holiday! There’s always something going on — games by the pool, music, dancing, evening shows… the vibe is just amazing

from 10 am to 11 pm theres loud music, and even after that, you can hear music from nearby clubs until around 2 am. or well, thats for the rooms facing the beach only

😊 The food on the bufet was cold and no taste. The chef made a bad comment saying that romanians eating to much. of course if the food is not good you need to try something else. On the end was a bad EXPERIENCE

The pool and the atmosphere of the pool is also great for kids and families. I believe this hotel could be better managed to get up there to 4 stars. You can tell the lack of staff in some points of your stay

I have just one word PERFECT! 1. We had an issue with the shower door the water from the shower was pouring under it, floding the bathroom. I went at the reception asking for a fix

she called a cleaning man to clean the water and then came a tehnician to "fix" the problem, that said to put towels on the floor and call everytime a cleaning men ( wich buy the way yo have a policy to not do that writen on the bathroom wall) it was very rude

The next day I went a second time to the reception there were other girls, much more willing to fix the problem and more nice. In the afternoon it came another tehnician and solved the probleme easily

While some dishes stand out more than others, there’s always something suitable for everyone. It reminded me a bit of our stay at the Barut Acanthus Hotel in Side, though on a slightly simpler scale

We are looking forward to seeing how the 2nd week goes. Update from 2nd week: Overall our stay was very positive. The indoor pool was nice and warm for the kids, especially for the colder days

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel .the staff was incredibly friendly, and always ready to help. The room was comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again.

Incredible! The Hotel is beautiful, food is really great and the location is fantastic! The sea is right across the street, so you have to go just about you the road and the sea

fast check in and check out. Nice shower with good warer pressure. gym was big and aircondicioned. Food was good, enough to choose from. Staff was superfast to clean your table, sometimes even too fast

would prefer a coffee machine to get my own coffee. ( 4th floor, oceanview) could not hear neighbours, but sometimes people talking in the hallway only. Internet was working really fast without problems

pool area was good, but not enough sunbeds. I'd say around 50 beds only, and they were all taken by 9/10 am. then the beach would be the only option. Hotel layout was some wierd

Very nice personnel, very nice rooms, good food. They clean the rooms often. Only a small downside--you have to go down and up some stairs to go to and back from the beach.

However, the entertainment for kids was great (slides, pools, playground, trampolines & animation team) - which I suppose is what matters most!

Summer holiday Great family stay

On paper it has everything, however when you're actually there it feels very crowded and a bit "rough around the edges

" That being said, everything was fine in terms of food/service - nothing special or above and beyond in any way

The hotel is really old fashioned, good rooms are those that look at the beach and pool. Be sure when you make reservation so the room is with balcony

This hotel is large and in a great position, being so close to the beach and having a great view of the sea. However, that's as far as it goes

Had a great rest! The location is good, the beach is nearby! The price-quality ratio was pleasing. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a peaceful rest on the seashore!

But the worst is their so-called restaurant. Finding there something that can be eaten requires huge effort. To sum up - if you plan to spend all day on a beach and need only bed close to sea - this hotel is really OK

Hotel Lilia is one of my favourite hotels in resort of Golden sands Nice and large rooms kindly and smiling stuff cosy atmosphere And what else one need if you can wake up with gentle noice of sea waves in front of you I

Its a beach front property in the middle of the strip

The food is good, many types, the room is clean and we have a nice see view, mamy activities near the pool, with children and at the bar, private beach with drinks, free longchairs near the sea

Bellow average hotel at Golden Sands. This resort use to be beautiful sea side place in a forest next to the beaches now just hotels next to other hotel extremely noisy and full with drunks

Very satisfied, especially with the food and views. Star down: terrace bar closes at 10 PM and you have to go to the lobby bar, which is, given the nearby sea, far less attractive place

Possible quiet time is not a legitimate excuse as all the clubs nearby blast music well after 2 AM. Massive usage of single-use plastic and paper cups

- coffee - acceptable to good depending on what you choose on the machine - pool with lots of chairs and shade from umbrellas and huge trees - 2 lifeguards during the day - pool bar - nice staff, very good ice cream, good cookies during serving hours -staff pretty young and helpful, did their job very well - reception looks very nice with a lot of seats inside and outside on the terrace - saw there...

- housekeeping doing a very good job with daily cleaning and changing towels - despite all the comments below that scared me before going there food was delicious - a lot of options from a bunch of salads, veggies, meats, barbecue for lunch and dinner with different meats daily, pancakes in the morning

-10 sunbeds on the beach - huge con if you come for the sand and the sea - gym - very old , not sure anyone worked out there during my stay - for those minding exercising or climbing stairs: around 50 stair climb from the beach to the hotel All in all pleasant experience with good food, had a good time with my friends

we really liked our stay at the hotel, the food was very good, the staff were polite, the rooms were not that big but they were clean, the beach was close but the hotel does not have a private beach, you have to pay for it, we liked the animation team a lot Krisi, Marti and Jani were very good, Marti was very good at ping pong, most of the time it rained, but they lifted our spirits and had nice parties

Great facilities, spacious rooms, friendly service! Yes, I had to walk down to the beach, bit I was able to enjoy the great sunrises on my balcony! Very happy, can only recommend!

The comments bellow from fellow Romanians with "only 2 types of soup", and "food different than in Romania" - you are not at your mother's house, but in Bulgaria - different country with different food ;)

The hotel was ok for the money. It wasn't that far from the beach. I didn't like the parking situation

The Hotel per se was really pretty. We liked the Hotel complex with the pool. We were 3 people staying there for a week. The room was big enough for us and was quiet comfy

Again a little disappointing but understandable at the end of season

They charge you 20 leva/day for what? Parking in the street? Also they tried to charge me for 6 days when I only had 5 full days. It didn't work (for them), but I had to argument a lot about it

And for hotel's management, if you're reading this. I don't know why you're not encouraging poeple to book directly to your website, instead of paying fees to Booking and others

I booked trough the hotel's website, but it was a pain. No email confirmation, no nothing. And I also had problems about it at the reception, with the payments

But it felt like child was sleeping on bare wood it was impossible to sleep on it. Air conditioning worked well. Room allegedly was cleaned on a daily basis, unless you would leave a sign advising to not disturb

However after 3 or 4 days there was significant amount of sand across the floor from beach and I noticed that while towels were changed and beds done, floors were not hoovered of mopped

Check in was smooth, we were I formed how to locate our room, wi fi log in, info about possibility to book in Greek/Bulgarian themed dinner, advised of gym and spa service, advised of the shuttle bus

Unfortunately on that particular day it was not the male housekeeper who would usually attend to our room, so the next day i did not say a thing to the male house keeper as this was not his omission

Given a sheet with information on lunched dinners breakfast. Maim beds were decent and comfortable to sleep on. However we were with a child who slept on a sofa bed

In the beginning I did not pat much attention if Room was cleaned or not, as beds were done and towels were changed

The view from the room was excellent, the indoor pool nice, flexibility and kindness of staff and good breakfast !

Sunny Beach was good place to relax. The people in Bulgaria are fine. Food and grocery are expensive! However, Hotel Shipka did not offer any night entertainment or excursions tours

There are other amenities as well, but sadly I did not try them out, such as a pool table, football table, a sauna, and maybe others that don't come to mind

I am staying in this hotel for the 3rd consecutive year, welcoming staff, varied and rich cuisine, parking guaranteed right in front of the hotel, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, children's pool, brand new sauna, gym, piano bar

The poolside bar was really clean, and whenever there was a crowd there, the manager/owner would help out so everyone got what they wanted in due time

The rooms are a bit small, there's not a lot of space for your belongings, but if you plan on spending most of your time on the seaside or touring the city, then it won't bother you, like it didn't bother us

I liked the hotel very much. There are very nice animatrs who took cre of our kids and made hats with them and drwings. The pool is very beautiful and appropriate for the kids. I would come here again next year.

The hotel has very cool pool and very nice staff. The animators Reni and Melek made our holiday even better because they took care of the kids at the kids club and drew with them. The lifeguard was very funny and nice

My vacation in hotel Royal was very cool and cery fun because of the animators Reni and Melek who organised coo fames all the time. The pool was very big and the water wasn't cold

In the Hotel Reni and Melek helped us spend a really good holiday and when we were outside of the hotel we had fun at the beach

I liked my stay in the hotel very much. The rooms and the food were okay but what made my holiday was the animators Reni and Melek, who were very nice and played very cool music by the pool

And honourable mention for the best beach they have here in Bulgaria, I really enjoyed my time there

Main courses ranged from ok to great. It is a bit of a walk to beach, about 10 minutes to the free Riviera beach zones

Perfect This hotel surprised me in a good way, is really a 3 starts hotel, rooms are clean, large and the balcony is fine. The food was not very fancy but was tasty! I recommend!!

Stayed in one of the 2 larger 2 room apartment and loved the huge terrace balcony. Rooms were clean but carpet starting to show age. Food was good if a bit repetitive on the vegetable options
