Hotels on first line in Golden Sands

The hadd very few vegetarian alternatives, which resulted in some people almost only eating fries for the duration of the stay

This was one of my best experiences overall, I booked "The Level" in this hotel and that is an option that gives you access to some really nice things and in my book

I once visited the main restaurant below to check it out and the difference was night and day in stresslevel, specially as a lone traveler that is used to have to almost fight for a table at other hotels

On top of that you have the lounge on floor 8 that was also excellent to take it easy in with a perfect view of the ocean. The rooms where also big, clean and with an awesome bathroom

With both separate shower and bathtub. I also really enjoyed the cold water dispenser in the floor 8 hallway. Will come again and would love to stay longer as well

Totally worth it and just made my holiday a stress free and excellent experience. The areas that are available as "the level" was above and beyond

People come there to enjoy the sea and the beach, but they are not provided a place to do that!! We supposed that an ultra all inclusive package will include all services with no extra cost

Also, as expected, not enough sunbeds, not enough towels for beach

The hotel can acomodate a huge number of people, but there are not enough sunbeds, so you have to chase a place with a big chance to not finding one at 8 am in the morning

We stayed for 4 nights and at the dinner the food changed a bit every day: pasta, shrimps, fish, which was good. Now the bad things: Not enough sunbeds

We tried to go to eat at the beginning of the program, but I am sure that if you come in the last 30 minutes, you will find just some pieces of food. I don’t want pick a side, I am just honest

Pay attention because it looks great in the photos, but the situation is not that great in reality! Have a nice day!

Another uncomfortable thing is that there is no bar/restaurant on the beach and if you want to get some drinks/snacks, you have to go back to the hotel (if you are not too lazy you can make 2 min walk to the hotel)

Very nice personnel, very nice rooms, good food. They clean the rooms often. Only a small downside--you have to go down and up some stairs to go to and back from the beach.

Another issue in the whole Golden sands complex is the garbage all around - in the streets, green areas and the beach. Overall we had a great experience in hotel Arabella. It is a great place for family vacation

Many places to go, every meal time there's a lot to choose from, the staff is very kind and always try to help.

The hotel is big and outdated, the swimming pool is big and nice but we didn’t use it as it was still cold. The indoor pool was nice and clean

Nice hotel, very tasty food, friendly staff. Room cleaned every day, breakfasts, Lunches and dinners last for 3-3. 5 hours, no need to rush, everything at the hotel is well organized and thought out

The hotel met our requirements, every drink in the bar was included in our ultra all inclusive price (even imported drinks), the staff was friendly (most of the time), rooms were cleaned every day etc

The foods' quality didn't meet our standards. This must be because of our family's eating habits as others had good opinions about the food. I would recommend Hotel Atlas for everyone

They aren't stingy with the alcool. So if the barkeepers were a little bit friendly and meal were better, were the this a TOP hotel, but in the circumstance only 3-3,5 stars

One drawback is not the hotel and Golden Sands - there are very noisy until 4 am music)) and the beaches are overloaded with people (from 2 to 13 August 2017)

To eat outside "normal" time in any way, and after the sea / pool you want something to "throw" myself, especially to children. Last year was in a different hotel, it was possible to eat almost always from 07:00 to 23:00

Clean beach and water, great food, exceptional services. The parking place was far from the hotel, so make sure you take everything you need from it

The pool was very much liked by the big kids, but the one for small kids is small and deep for them. We all had fun, adults, kids, babies

Great beach, the beach has a bar and a snack bar, one minus because the beach for two hotels it is not always empty seats under an umbrella and not always available sunbeds

They provided us with a grand room with a seaside view. Also helped with the luggage on both the check in as well as the check out

Great beach, although for small children entering the water can be dangerous (ends abruptly on a meter). In the comments someone noted that there was not enough food during the breaks

For the breakfast they put just one bottle of sparkling wine for hundreds of guests 😂😂😂 Apart that it’s nice hotel very close to the beach “, nice sea view as well

I love it! The location is very well located, in the middle of the tourist resort. Nearby, there are a lot of beach bars and funny places with games for all ages. The hotel has a casino on the ground floor

They grabbed food with their bare hands, they let their kids run arround and no one from the hotel staff said anything to them. The internal pool smelled like pee

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are big and it offers you all what you need

When you are paying about 10 euros for 100mil, you expect to get a proper drink, not something diluted with water. At least the bar manager took it out of the bill

Brought and opened a new bottle, which was as it should be. With nice amber colour and christal clear. That was the only downside of the experience in the hotel

Another thing is that they allowed a group of tourists to play loud manele on their wifi speaker. That was awfully! We stayed at the pool only one day because of this problems

There are 70-100 meters to the sea, you need to cross the road. The beach has paid sunbeds and umbrellas, but there is plenty of free space. You can calmly lie down on your mat right next to the sea

The housekeeper was really nice and they made everyday something from the towels that surprised us. The food was good and variated. The big inconvenience is that the hotel has no private beach

The first one is that the personal at the pool allowed tourists with drinks in the pool, and they allowed the tourists to make fun of the animation team

The first time was just great. The second time We have some differences from whatever was in the initial offer as sea view room. It was replaced with bigger apartment , half sea view and 2 floors in foot

The food is nice and the rooms are clean overall. The pools are also clean and nice!

Although the hotel's policy is "no reservation for sunbeds", if you want one, you must wake up early in the morning and put your towels on. - ⁠same issue for the pool sunbeds, it is impossible to find one after 8am

- ⁠so i couldn't rest properly because each morning I had to get up early in order to "reserve" sunbeds for the entire family. I wouldn't mind staying anywhere as long as it would be enough sunbeds for everybody

- ⁠there are not enough tables and chairs to sit and have a drink after dinner. - ⁠There are lines everywhere: line at the main restaurant, line at the beach bar, line at the elevator, line at the reception

The first day you can consider it lost because you cannot get towels and find sunbeds anywhere

- ⁠as a personal matter, i would rather have the parking included in the reservation ticket cost than find out at the hotel that i must pay more than 10 euro / day - ⁠my kids considered the mini club a joke

It's a small area, nothing much to do. - ⁠towel service only 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the afternoon. Some days, in the afternoon, 30 minutes after opening you couldn't find any available towels

Incredible! The Hotel is beautiful, food is really great and the location is fantastic! The sea is right across the street, so you have to go just about you the road and the sea

The front desk lady said all the restaurants are fully booked, and we asked her how can that be that we got no information at check in about it… and then she said, ok, I can offer the Bulgarian restaurant, we are not big fans so we said no thanks, we want to reserve the Italian and the Asian restaurant

She said that it wasn’t possible… after telling her that they should give every guest the information and chance, she suddenly found space in both restaurants…… we don’t understand why do they do that? The restaurants were not full at all!!!!

This is a great hotel for families with kids. It is located next to Aquapark hotel and the guests can use both facilities for free. Each hotel has pools and water slides. The all inclusive at deluxe is great

The pool bar always has good food inclusing pizza, chips, waffles and more. The play room is huge at the aquapark hotel full with ps5 consoles, pool tables and ping pong tables. The beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel

Everything was very nice, we had a great time! The food was delicious and with a great variety. The staff was friendly, the room very spacious and clean. The pools and water slides are also great! Thanks

Fantastic for the kids (sides, pools, animation / kids club, trampolines etc), great beach nearby. However service, cleanliness of the property, food/service was okay

Loud music, from a nearby venue was heard in our room, booming out until midnight. None of this the fault of the hotel. Situated a short walk to the beach the location was spot on

Spent two weeks here in June 2024. Our room was well presented overlooking the Black Sea with a large balcony

oh, wait, surprise, they don't hold it for you!!! the rooms are ok, pretty big, most of them with a side view to the sea. only the rooms down the corridor have nice, big bathrooms

the biggest plus: it is located 20m from the beach and it is cheap. there are at most 15 parking spots for 14 floors x 12 rooms! call to reserve a spot

Has a diversity of desserts thru the week. The best thing its that it varies from day to day. The pool is also a great service to use. It's so clean and it has a thermal control

He may be a bit old, but he is fast and gently with the drinks! The lobby bar was very good, 2 people working at the same time, that's some efficiency. The meals are served like the Swedish Buffet

The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy. The staff (very unusually for Bulgaria I am afraid) were friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor pool and good situation within walking distance of town and beach

The hotel is the best option ever! It has it's own parking space for cheap per day, (15BGN). The receptionist is super friendly

As for the barman's the pool one is the greatest one to exist! Extremely friendly and catches on super fast about your liking

Tip: bring your drinks/snacks with you as the private beach is not really serviced. The price is very good for the quality. Families, with young children, would enjoy the stay

Bellow average hotel at Golden Sands. This resort use to be beautiful sea side place in a forest next to the beaches now just hotels next to other hotel extremely noisy and full with drunks

very nice place, very close to the beach and lots of shops. Everyone will find something interesting to eat. I highly recommend it.

Very satisfied, especially with the food and views. Star down: terrace bar closes at 10 PM and you have to go to the lobby bar, which is, given the nearby sea, far less attractive place

Possible quiet time is not a legitimate excuse as all the clubs nearby blast music well after 2 AM. Massive usage of single-use plastic and paper cups

They should have more options for vegan people, they don’t have so much options…! About the people who works there, at the pool the animators were good 👍🏽

Very nice hotel, great service. A rich Breakfast buffet. Two steps away from the beach. Nearby the stop with buses to Varna.

I stayed here 13 days and my impressions are very positive. The rooms are spacious and cleaned regularly. WiFi is stable all the time and can be used for free

Wonderful hotel to spend a summer vacation! Perfect location on a first line, just few meters from the beach. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed regularly

The place is georgious , the hotel is almoust on the beach , it can be hear how the waves hit the sand. The stuff is kind , if wee ask something they help without any problem

Friendly and helpful staff, tasty food with a lot of variety, nice pools, cozy room with comfortable bed mattress. Nice view too! One recommendation: all rooms should have shower and not bath

Ivo the animator was an amazing entertaining Guy for his age. Although the hotel was pretty nice. It was close to the beach and I liked that alot

Everything was pretty much okay. Food is alright, it could vary a bit, but in overall kitchen staff does excellent work. Rooms are clean, we also had amazing sea view

What they do for the hotel is amazing, I learned their dance in just 2 days, they do their job well and due to the argument given above I think they deserve 5 stars

"ANIMATION TEAM" these people are just bestial, friendlier and funnier people you only see in movies

"THE BARMANS" are also very good people and very friendly and they also deserve 5 stare

The food was okay-sh, but not very good quality. The swimming pool was good The artistic program were diverse

The hotel is excellent, the sea is wonderful, the food is excellent. There was a very large selection of food.

I was in this place for a couple of days and I had great experience. I had a lot of fun with the amazing animation team, which I admire truly. The girls were amazing!! We would love to see them again

The restaurant's food is incredibly tasty every day, but it would be desirable. The hotel is an old one and some equipment in the rooms and in other places that require it should already be changed

But the most fun in my experience here were the animators, who are very dedicated to their work, they will never leave you busy, you will always have something to learn from them

My daughter loved them and couldn’t wait to take a part in every entertainment, so starting with morning gymnastics and finishing on great Mini Disco

We had a good room with view at the sea 😍. The place where you serve the food has a great view (first picture). The food was good not so variated but good

The drinks are locate so you can not expect at high quality (for all inclusive). To arrive at the beach you have to down a lot of stairs. We had a bar on the beach where you can take drinks and snack’s

Some part of the staff from the restaurant aren't so polite, food is almost everyday the same and from the hotel to the beach you have around 120 steps

and with this he ensured our stay to be more than wonderful. We can't say "Thank you!" enough times to him, but we'll make sure to do so every single time when we visit the Golden sands

He helped me and my friend a bunch of times when we really needed it, he also guided us through the city one night and even gave us honest reviews of where we can eat and etc

Our kids felt great at the water tubes and at the evenings shows. The food is not always grate, but it's a plus that it has a large variety from where you can find something suitable for your taste

I appreciate that some dishes were cooked at sight but because of the large request I had the unfortunate experience of not enough cooked chicken meat so I had to put it away

The beverages, except coffee, are all mediocre and also the desserts, but I appreciated the fruits served every day at every meal and also many of the soups

They have nice view to the outside pool but furniture are cheap and the food of all inclusive was not so great but it's okay maybe for the season and that price. The staff is very nice and helpful 👍

Nice hotel nearby the beach. The main problem is that parking. For 15lv per spot per day, you don't even have your own place. We have been waiting for our car to be able to go for an hour...

Very close with the beach, and closed with main attraction of the place. Real value for money, definitely I will come again next summer

It was a lovely stay we had at this place. Varied lunch and dinner, 4 pools to chose from, close proximity to the beach (though you will go up and down some stairs)

The location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. The rooms were a decent size but the beds were uncomfortable. Food was average but you can't complain when you're all inclusive

We had everyday animation for the children and grown ups. The location is 5 minutes away from the beach,but it was so interesting in the hotel that we went to the beach maybe twice

Good rooms,good food and very important,nice people! The 2 boys from Animation Programme,Bobi and Ilko made me and my friends feel better,with multiple activities like music,volleyball,dancing and much more

We especially enjoyed the animators of the hotel, the girls were so funny and bringing a good mood everywhere. So many thanks to Vicky, Mia and Gabi for all the heart they put into their work!

We had one of the rooms on the 6th floor which looked newly refurbished so have based our 5 stars on this. Great bathroom, nice beds and what looked like brand new air conditioning
