The hotel pool is located just on the beach. You can swim in the sea and in the pool

I will start with the good things, of course. To mention that we had an Ultra All Inclusive package. The location is great, in the city center, there were a lot of shops near by

We tried to go to eat at the beginning of the program, but I am sure that if you come in the last 30 minutes, you will find just some pieces of food. I don’t want pick a side, I am just honest

People come there to enjoy the sea and the beach, but they are not provided a place to do that!! We supposed that an ultra all inclusive package will include all services with no extra cost

Pay attention because it looks great in the photos, but the situation is not that great in reality! Have a nice day!

We were disappointed to find out that the spa must be paid, or the coffee/tea in the room

This is a great hotel for families with kids. It is located next to Aquapark hotel and the guests can use both facilities for free. Each hotel has pools and water slides. The all inclusive at deluxe is great

The pool bar always has good food inclusing pizza, chips, waffles and more. The play room is huge at the aquapark hotel full with ps5 consoles, pool tables and ping pong tables. The beach is 5 minutes walk from the hotel

One of the best and high vfm hotels in the golden sands Varna. 5 minutes to the beach, new rooms, service is very good, all included, various food that suites for anyone, including vegan, clean and safe pools and spa

This place is awesome! Its one of those hotels that make you wish just to stay close to it, and not to go anywhere else. The best place in the whole "Golden Sands" area!

Clean beach and water, great food, exceptional services. The parking place was far from the hotel, so make sure you take everything you need from it

The pool was very much liked by the big kids, but the one for small kids is small and deep for them. We all had fun, adults, kids, babies

Don't know, those who all-inclusive, the food was too much. Beach bar with pizza, baked potatoes, rolls. At the entrance to the hotel pastries. Bar worked 24 hours,always had access to coffee

In the centre of Golden Sands. Cons: the elevators always need to wait long, the bathroom is clearly 5 stars falls short

It has a spa and massage centre. The room was big and modern and nicely furnished. The Tv is small and obsolete with no casting options, so you can't stream from your phone. Overall, cleanliness is everywhere

I love it! The location is very well located, in the middle of the tourist resort. Nearby, there are a lot of beach bars and funny places with games for all ages. The hotel has a casino on the ground floor

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms are big and it offers you all what you need

Just be careful with the expensive alcohol! Mine was diluted with water, hence the blurry colour of the Rakia

So, we booked this room, the amount charged was one night before arrival, and two nights after arrival, and upon check out the amount payed for 1 night was not reimbursed, as the receptionist said

The hotel is located close to the beach. The menu is varied, it is advisable to add dairy products for breakfast. The room is clean.

We were 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 13 and 9. The vacation was great here, but there are some facts that the administration should change

The room was spacious - a bedroom (extra large bed) and a liviing room with sofa bed. The view from the balcony at 8th floor was amazing - the sea is 50 meters from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and supportive

They helped us each time we needed it. There are 2 outside pools, one of whch is perfect for children - starts from 40cm and goes up to 80 cm. The indoor pool is from 100cm up to 150cm, so it was perfect for the son

There are some issues that need to be adressed in the future ( wifi signal is really bad, the restaurant is crowded, and sometimes you wouldn't find a free table) but these were small obstacles

The room was clean with a comfortable double bed and a sofa. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The balcony had chairs and table to serve some drinks and a drying rack for cloths

The atmosphere on the therance and lounge is a little bit quiet, no music and no events til now

A nice option for your vacation. I've stayed in a deluxe room, which was great because there's plenty of space and has a view to the sea, even though not the greatest, since the hotel is about 450m from the shore

It was quiet, away from the vibrating night life of the Golden Sands

If I arrive to Bulgaria next time I will choose a 4* hotel in Sunny Beach region (more free zones on beach, shorter distance hotel-beach, more shallow coast (100m off the coast water depth is about 2m), shorter distance airport-hotel

The hotel is actually very good, especially for the paid price. The food is various, good and fresh. A minus could be the alcohol, is weak and pretty cheap, but is a common thing for all inclusives stuff

Everything was on point. Service was good and food was tasty. We also liked bartender Sasha (Oleksandra), she was interesting to talk with. But receptionist Anton, who first met us, was VERY rude😒

Also, the animation team is strongly involved in cheering up the public, a various program and nice persons. Dimi, Kari, Yoni, Sveto, Gabi and Koko are awesome, we loved the energy

The animation was excellent, four animators were taking care and there were gymnastics and stuff, as well as activities for kids

in general, everything was good, the hotel and food were super for the money. the staff is attentive and very friendly, with the exception of the barwoman named Sasha

It is located almost in the center, surrounded by a lot of cafes, restaurants and the main promenade. They even gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift

We had a good room with view at the sea 😍. The place where you serve the food has a great view (first picture). The food was good not so variated but good

The drinks are locate so you can not expect at high quality (for all inclusive). To arrive at the beach you have to down a lot of stairs. We had a bar on the beach where you can take drinks and snack’s

I would go to this hotel again, it is located near the sea, the beach is healthy, there is always enough space to fall on the sand

The hotel rooms are pretty big and clean. They clean the room every day and change the towels. They have animation for the kids and the animation girls are very funny and full of energy

I do not have kids, but when I do I would like to come in vacation with them here. The food is diverse the services are nice, the bevrages are medium quality but its the same in every All inclusive service

There are daily activities for childrean organized. We booked 10 days in advance because we wanted a relaxing holiday

Also some neighbours are very loud ( again, kids ), screaming, running along the hallway. Management should try to talk to the parents that this hotel is also for couples who only want to relax and enjoy the vacation

Hotel is great, food and drinks are amazing too. A big plus here are Animators a young group of peapole who are making u entertemaint, they are great for kids and old ones. I love them all.

The staff always replaces the towels im the room even if you don't want it replaced. I would like more visible indicators in hallways about where what is

I saw people come to their sunbeds after 4 hours. I've seen panicked people about their abandoned towel when the staff moved the sunbeds because they couldn't get the card. It enforces the same toxic behavior

At 8 AM the beach is 40% "occupied" by people who leave the towels on the sunbeds. At 9 AM its impossible to find a spot at the outside pool. Staff either shrug or evict a spot only if you complain

Only 4 days in, the room service told me i can take the stairs to the restaurant instead of taking the elevator twice. But the bigger problem is with the pool/beach sunbed "reservations"

If someone would collect everything at 8AM people would have a chance at a spot after breakfast

Although the hotel's policy is "no reservation for sunbeds", if you want one, you must wake up early in the morning and put your towels on. - ⁠same issue for the pool sunbeds, it is impossible to find one after 8am

Fits for 4-star Hotel, the staff is super polite, location is good, food is good and selection is great, recommend to you!

Very nice personnel, very nice rooms, good food. They clean the rooms often. Only a small downside--you have to go down and up some stairs to go to and back from the beach.

Just peace and quiet for families with children. The personnel can speak Russian. There are a few bars if you come without children. Very close to the sea, leaving from the hotel you will be right on the beach

Our room seemed to have been renovated, but our floor’s surface was bumpy and was uncomfortable to walk barefoot, there was a carpet but I suppose that with the bumps can’t be properly cleaned

Every evening we have a show as well. A family friendly hotel and well located, not too fqr from the beach. We are also offered to go to another private beach plus waterpark as part of the group Grifid's hotels

Loud music, from a nearby venue was heard in our room, booming out until midnight. None of this the fault of the hotel. Situated a short walk to the beach the location was spot on

Breakfast was good both in quality and quantity but dinner could be a bit hit and miss. No other British tourists to be seen at the resort of Golden Sands, mainly Bulgarian, Romanian and German

We loved our stay at the Bonita fab room with a great view. Only little down side was the WiFi in the room was a little weak. Still booking for next year.

Spent two weeks here in June 2024. Our room was well presented overlooking the Black Sea with a large balcony

Pity about the neon advertising board on top of the Lighthouse Steakhouse opposite which continued twenty four hours, day and night shining its light onto the balcony

But the most fun in my experience here were the animators, who are very dedicated to their work, they will never leave you busy, you will always have something to learn from them

I was in this place for a couple of days and I had great experience. I had a lot of fun with the amazing animation team, which I admire truly. The girls were amazing!! We would love to see them again

The restaurant's food is incredibly tasty every day, but it would be desirable. The hotel is an old one and some equipment in the rooms and in other places that require it should already be changed

My daughter loved them and couldn’t wait to take a part in every entertainment, so starting with morning gymnastics and finishing on great Mini Disco

Especially animation team! Girls are literally an angels- so patient, easygoing with children and with their harts on their hands

The 2 elevators are not really enough. Food is ok, drinks acceptable (plastic glasses are highly used) - no complain. All in all, it is a nice place, impressive from the moment you walk in because of the sea view

Large and wonderful rooms, comfortable bed (not the extensible one), large bathrooms. A big minus for the cleaning service. When we got the room, the bathroom was not so clean. The terraces and pools are great

Very nice hotel, close to the beach (though the private beach is not really in front of the hotel, but a little bit to the right). The beach chairs and umbrellas are not enough for all guests at once

The food in the restaurant is European standard, all natural and better than in most restaurants around the hotel. Since early in the season, to give a more objective assessment is not possible

The beach itself does not cause problems, it was enough just to find a free area to be located and attached also free hotel umbrellas. The sea was clean and warm, which could not fail to delight children and adults

This hotel needs a lot of improvment especially in cleaning and food. Bathroom with mold room 506 worn towels , a/c not working dust everywere. The good thing was that the linen was white

😊 The food on the bufet was cold and no taste. The chef made a bad comment saying that romanians eating to much. of course if the food is not good you need to try something else. On the end was a bad EXPERIENCE

We stayed in an apartment room, which is supposed to be better than the standard rooms. The rugs and sofa were very dirty. The AC worked occasionally lucky for us at least at night. It decided to work a bit harder

The hotel is located in Golden Sands, cool like this place, next to a lot of clubs. To the sea about 500 meters, great pool with comfortable sun beds in the nearby Double Tree, you can use it

For example in some rooms the system with magnetic key locks on the doors doesnt work and you have to use a key , sometimes when you go to take a shower there isnt enough pressure in the tubes through the shower head for the water or there isnt enough hot water , the table tennis "rackets" or whatever was their name i forgot are in bad shape and the ping pong balls all got broken thanks to some guests...

And so on but certainly i think 3 star is on point for this hotel due to the things it provides the atmosphere the place the people etc

Although it is a 3 star hotel sometimes i start to doubt that because of the small things that make impression

Great animation team, clean room and pool, quite good food but not so varied. More like a 3*+ hotel.

Double tree is a good hotel with nice and respectful staff which they help and guide you if you have any question. They have their own beach wich free shuttle is available

you can use both swimming pool and also they have indoor pool. Our room had jungle view which was awesome. it was clean and they daily room service

Limited choice of 5 cocktails, nothing fancy but good enough. AMENITIES: 3 swimming pools (2 outside, 1 inside), can usually find a spot to sit despite the usual towel on the sunbed tricks

Didn't use any of the spa, as most was extra cost. Did use the gym, and with a bit of imagination it was absolutely fine. ROOM: Was great, it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable

Our room was two singles pushed together which did roll apart unfortunately. There was a problem with the toilet making a loud noise, but this was reported and fixed within 4 hours

For a budget holiday it did everything it said on the tin. FOOD: The food was ok, always plenty of food, although sometimes you did have to queue for fresh food on the grill

Food was Good (didn’t try much of the offered diversity) would suggest to add “transport to/from airport” and room service. DO NOT ASK RECEPTION FOR A CAB!! the fare is around twice as high

+ Clean hotel + Good service from their staff + Location + Free gym, big pool outside - Wi-fi is paid (no matter where in the hotel), which is one of the big drawbacks of this place - Food is nice (though not much to choose from), but drinks and cocktails are among the cheapest in Bulgaria

Arena Mar is a 2 years old hotel, they build it very fast. Service is smiled and kind even some times too much. Food is all inclusive no much choice of food. Overall this is a family hotel

Decent,clean and friendly personnel. needs some replacement of the pool equipment (umbrellas/ deck chairs), better wifi (not paid anymore)

This is a new hotel built in 2015. Rooms are well arranged, bathrooms are modern, staff is very friendly.

The hotel is located away from noise, the music played outside and at the restaurant area was great, staff is friendly, food was pretty good and there was also a vast type of different food

The pool was very clean and clear, a little small, but I was on september and there weren't a lot of people in that area

Great hotel overall, wouldn’t recommend to people with walking disabilities. The hotel is on the hill, walking to the beach could be hard. The staff was amazing, especially barmen Stanislav, he made sure we had fun

The stay here was very pleasant. Pluses: - The stuff was very responsive and served us quick. They made sure that everything was clean. - During every meal serving, the stuff made sure to clean the finished plates

- the stuff from reception helped us with every question we had. - most of the stuff knew English very well. - in the menu, there was healthy food choices

- we received an apartment with a view over the see, which was amazing. Minuses: - not such great variety of food - the gym did not have mirrors
