Hilton Sofia

Had a very enjoyable stay here, on our first visit to Sofia. Location is decent - it's close to the city centre, a short walk to the Palace of Culture across a bridge and next to a metro station. We took the metro from the airport, and walked an easy 20 mins to the hotel from the closest stop on the airport line (rather than connecting to the subway line next to hotel). Hotel seems modern and our room had clearly been fairly recently refurbished. It was spacious and clean. The executive lounge had a decent selection of food, beer and wine at happy hour, and snacks/soft drinks all day. It's a nice space. Breakfast was very nice too, especially the muffins!

Good location adjacent to South Park with self parking available on the hotel's grounds. The hotel has been recently refurbished and the attention to detail - especially in the executive suites - is excellent. Indeed, our suite was stylish, modern, and beautifully decorated for a hotel room with all mod-cons (including several USB-A/C fast charging points). Amenities included a steam room, sauna and good size modern gym. The Executive Lounge, on ground floor, was a very nice space with friendly service and good food. At breakfast they can arrange eggs/pancakes cooked-to order and in the early evenings (between 17:30-19:30) they serve a selection of canapés and alcoholic drinks (including a limited selection of wines and spirits). All things considered, this was a very enjoyable short stay at the Hilton Sofia which was definitely enhanced by being assigned a suite and having access to the Executive Lounge.

Fantastic hotel with outstanding facilities and reception. Not only is the hotel spotlessly clean, the rooms are very comfortable and the front desk are there to help with any questions about the hotel or city. The bar staff are also really friendly, make great cocktails and make it a very welcoming environment. Definitely would stay again!

The hotel is clean, tidy and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good and closed to sightseeing spots and restaurants. It’s easy to find dinning places and buying sovenirs. The hotel offers health classes. We had dinning at the restaurant and food is delicious.

Very nice hotel. Stayed just one night, but this was a vrey nice place. Good, comfortable rooms with great views over the city. The hotel is not far from the city centre. Excellent executive lounge. We liked the breakfast, with eggs cooked to order. Will stay there again soon.

Excellent service. Clean and comfortable. Well located to the meeting venue - cultural palace of Bulgaria. A bit out of town. The service was excellent throughout. I had a problem with the room iron which dirtied my shirt. The iron was immediately replaced and the shirt laundered by the hotel. I would stay here again.

We stayed in the Hilton Sofia for two nights whilst touring Bulgaria. A stunning hotel, withing walking distance of the city centre. They have recently spent a fortune upgrading the whole place and it looks amazing. Combine that with a friendly helpful team and you have a perfect stay. Our room was gorgeous, with a fab bathroom. Breakfast was reliably excellent (in line with other Hilton hotels worldwide). Highly recommended

We just had a last minute, one night stay at the hotel and we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. My wife even said that this was one of the best Hilton hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in our fair share. We are definitely coming back!

The room key many times did not work and one of the elevators was extremely noisy so much that you could hear the noise from across the hallway. I do like the fact that they have a sauna that opens early and ends late so you can come at any time. So overall my stay was pretty good.
