The rooms are outdated, as shown by peeling wallpaper, a leaking shower, and lukewarm water that makes showering unpleasant

In the room I stayed the door handle was coming off , the bathroom door had a dent from punch , and some other vandalism actions that are not expected in such a hotel

Like any 4*hotel in Sophia, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is hardly drinkable. The casino downstairs is a bit out of my taste. Half of the people are nice, half of them are a bit cold, none of them exagerates

On its negatives the long wait in the elevators due to their incorrect programming, the small variety of breakfast while it is a 4* hotel, long waits at the coffee machines, and while it looked clean there were hairs from the cleaning staff every day in the bathroom and not detailed cleaning of the sanitary ware

In short: the location is good, parking is available (but not free), but the hotel is clearly past its prime and in urgent need of maintenance. It is certainly not 4 stars, more like 2, maybe 3 at best

The other thing which I found unpleasant is the organization of the cleaning staff - vacuum cleaners, mops and buckets with water are everywhere, I understand they need to clean but it could be arranged in discrete and not disturbing the guests way

this was amazing! everything, actually! i went there with my family for 2-3 days and it was fantastic. the rooms had many space and sometimes rooms werre connected by doors as if the guys in the room were roommates

Having stayed here for two days now, I’ve witnessed firsthand the kind of entitled, disrespectful behavior that makes you wonder how some people function outside their own homes

Loud complaints, senseless arguments, and a general lack of basic manners – all directed at the very staff who go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome

The staff here are exceptionally kind, polite, and helpful – whether at reception, breakfast, or housekeeping. Their warmth genuinely adds to the experience

A truly wonderful stay – despite some unpleasant company I’m currently staying at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Sofia, and I couldn't be happier

Amazing hotel in the heart of Sofia. It is next to the Sofia university, City garden, Royal Palace and National Theatre. Good customer service and cozy rooms. It is a little pricy but I would definately recommend it.

You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. The rooms are comfortable and cozy

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency while attending an Art of Living International Even in Sofia. Participants came to Hyatt from all over the world which can be challenging for any hotel of this size

Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral

Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. We had club access, which offers delicious breakfast and happy hour appetizers in a quiet pretty setting

The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a solid happy hour. There is an excellent spa with both sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool area that has high pressure jets

The hotel exceeded above and beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely polite. My room/suite was clean and spotless. I had a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was prepared to perfection

What really sets this hotel apart is the breakfast. It had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Bulgaria so far

It was close to the airport and three stops away on the Yellow Line metro for the Top Renta Car depot where I hired a car. Location was convenient for my needs

I was let down with the airport pick up, but hotel reception told me to take a taxi from Terminal 2 at the airport and they would pay. This happened but apparently via a voucher system

I also really liked the room art in our room. The bird painting was particularly cute

As it was winter, this wasn't very good. Breakfast was great in the amount of choice. I would use Expo again as an overnight stay

Good welcoming the breakfast was more than excellent for more or less price of 6€. The restaurant on the 6th floor was super tasty and the chef prepared and cooked everything on the spot

It's a well situated and good service hotel. The rooms are spacious and it has nice showers. Value to price ratio is good.

It is saved through the online system, which is a big plus and most of the times it is calm, but the unpleasant thing is that when the ball comes out, it takes 1, 2 minutes to get it back since there are nets and it enters the other fields easily

The receptionist was a bit rude, got annoyed that we bothered her, and made us wait for almost half an hour, but good customer service was not something I was expecting specifically, so it won't affect the final rating so much

From an emotional point of view, this hotel is forgettable, lacking any charisma, and loosing points for cheapening out at certain building/decorative features (things that shouldn't happen in place with 4 stars)

Most hotels don't invest in a proper network, but while I don't expect to find the ideal solution of an access point in every room, Vitosha Park really needs more access points in their cheap hallway setup

The room I stayed in was one of the renovated ones, so the furniture was pretty nice (and I really liked the walk-in shower!). The mattress was comfy, and I hope the white sheets were clean for real

Breakfast in this peaceful atrium every morning will be the highlight of your day. Possibly the best coffee I've ever experienced. Parking available, but also a very walkable location

Nice environment, good service

After diner he gave me a call to check in again. This morning I was very annoyed and would have ranked one star, but they really are trying to make up for their faults and improve, so I decided to give 4 stars

During the diner, the hotel manager visited me to apologise. I appreciated that and it showed that they really try to give a good experience, but it was apparently just 'force majeure' for them

There were some issues at the start due to the arrival of two big groups and the perfect storm that came into existence as a result. The hotel offered me a free diner as a compensation

The spa is excellent—worth the visit even though it's an additional cost for standard room guests. Unfortunately, my partner experienced a distressing moment when the lift broke down in complete darkness for 20 minutes

After we casually mentioned the incident to a staff member in the lift, the hotel immediately apologized and went above and beyond by leaving a heartfelt note and a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit bowl in our room

We loved staying here for our first trip to Sofia. The staff are so welcoming right from arrival all the way through to check out. They really can’t do enough for you

The hotel itself is beautiful in a classic and dignified way. The location is perfect, right in the centre with everything in the city centre within walking distance

The room is quiet, clean and centrally located. The room is on a low floor and the view is average. I didn’t pay much attention to the breakfast. The room is spacious and has floor-to-ceiling windows

My wife and I stayed there one night with our 1 year old baby. It was very clean, staff is very polite and professional. Restaurant was about to close, but they still served me food. I would definitely stay there again

The room was comfortable and spacious. There were extra pillows in the closet. The staff never bothered me, unless I needed something. It's a great place for introverts. There's a park near by and a KFC right next door

Large rooms, free Parking, a panoramic restaurant on the 12th floor. The room has a kettle, Minibar (surcharge), cosy, modern accommodation. Beautiful mountain views are odd numbers and floor better from 8 to 10

The hotel front desk employees are very polite and helpful, charging station for your electronic devices is also available at the lobby and also an electric shoe cleaner/shiner! Coming up to our room we were surprised to how massive it was, and also the bathroom is very big

Good big apartments! Restaurant was very good, stall were very engaging. Good choice for seightseeing located in the historical district of Sofia. The roman ruins inside the lobby are nice.

It would have been nice to have more comfortable seating out there like some outdoor couches. They supply ear plugs just in case the 9th floor gets too loud. Only one night did I hear it faintly on one side of the room

In all ways I was very happy here. Location good for local parks, sights, accessible to other areas. View terrific in room on 5th floor facing St Alex cathedral. Floor ceiling windows real nice

The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub

The breakfast is good enough but nothing exceptional. Swimming pool is OK, sauna is good. Location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. Good restaurants, and stores within 15 minutes walking distance

Good hotel part of the Marriott offering globally (I think the only one in Sofia); location is great - as you can see from the photos attached; near by are many key sites to visit and explore; only potential issue - if you are on the top floor room you may hear music/noise from the hotel bar on the roof

The location is great, the hardware is very good, and there is English service at the front desk, but the software, service and soundproofing are not good. The front desk was still under renovation when we went there.

Very good value for money, the rooms are good sized, the bed is comfortable and I like the location - 10-15 minutes away from the center by taxi & 5 minutes away from Bulgaria mall and a big Billa shop

The drawback is the cleanliness for a bathtub. Wifi is super fast and reliable. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast seems to be ok (7-10 am)

Decent hotel but needs some improvement. It's my 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel, in various rooms. In most of the cases the plumbing was smelly and in all cases the water had rust (brown) color

New hotel, very clean and nice

From start to finish our stay was amazing, first of all we were escorted to a gated carpark so we could keep our car safe during our stay, we were then checked in and told our room, the lobby sets the scene as it was very welcoming

Breakfast was the best one, for the standards. They have a terrace where some people can smoke, others can pick cherries when it is the time, and we were lucky and there were lots of cherries

If I could rate this hotel anymore than 5 I would, this is easily the best hotel we’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting
