When we arrived, we found out that the pool is part of the spa, and entry to the spa costs 40 euros per day. If having a pool is important to you, make sure to include the spa cost in your budget planning

To access any floor in the elevator, you must scan your room card, and it only allows you to go to your specific floor. One important thing to mention is that on Booking the hotel has a pool

Everything we tried was really good. The casino itself is very luxurious and impressive. We really enjoyed the overall experience there. One thing to know is that there are no free alcoholic drinks in the casino

The second restaurant is Asian, and we liked it so much that we even left a separate review for it. The food is very diverse, with lots of Asian options like sushi, fish, and also plenty of meat options

One is the casino restaurant, which is a full restaurant where anyone can order food. If you are playing in the casino, you earn points that you can use to eat there for free, which is a nice bonus

The room was huge and very comfortable. Cleanliness was on a very high level. Every single day a cleaner came in and even washed the shower properly with cleaning materials

In general hotel was nice but my experience from the breakfast was very poor. To be honest the service did not clean the tables, it was very difficult to find the rable without leftovers from the food of predecessors

The rooms are outdated, as shown by peeling wallpaper, a leaking shower, and lukewarm water that makes showering unpleasant

Additionally satin stairs were full of stains. It was visible that somebody spoilt something on the seat or grabbed the back of the chair with his dirty hand

Like any 4*hotel in Sophia, the breakfast is poor and the coffee is hardly drinkable. The casino downstairs is a bit out of my taste. Half of the people are nice, half of them are a bit cold, none of them exagerates

We stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour. 10-12 July 2025 The room: was comfortable. We reported it and were told we could change rooms or have it repaired the next day. We chose to wait until the next day

The toilet water turned brown 30 minutes after flushing which indicates a plumbing issue and is unsanitary. The rest of the room was clean. And they granted our request of having our 2 rooms next to each other

The rooms, breakfast and most of all the location! are absolutely great!! But more that all of that is the service and the staff, so nice, helpful and understanding beyond any expectations!! This is definitely going to be our go to location in our next stay in Sofia and I can't wait for it

The best things about this hotel -The location, absolutely superb (in the middle of the city center and great views) and breakfast (so many options and variety of different foods, all very tasty, especially delicious mini pancakes and pastries)

The room has everything: big shower, lovely long bed, even the curtains open with a click on the touchscreen display next to your bed. The hotel has a very good location, in the centre

View on a popular sight on both sides of the hotel. The breakfast has a lot of choices and tastes very good. I would recommend and definitely book here again when i go to Sofia

NOT Connected to our service but more of a point of note. We booked online and ticked boxes for special requests - No Nuts - No meat and such like, but this did not appear that the staff knew this

We stay here regularly when visiting family. The rooms are lovely - well decorated and spacious. The staff are very thoughtful and the customer service is excellent

The only thing you could miss are a hot tub and/or pool really

Excellent Hilton hotel in the center of Sofia town, easy to reach from airport with professional staff and good breakfast, very clean and with a very good smell in the hall and in the room, I really want to thank them for the wonderful weekend we had here, if we come back we’ll definitely sleep here

Great hotel, awesome comfortable rooms. The facilities are great, the bar and restaurant are of good quality. The gym has new equipment and fantastic airconditioning. The sauna and steembath were both great too

A good hotel, the lobby and halls are very beautiful, the interior is stunning, the park at the hotel is incredibly elegant, very beautiful, a very good place for high-level events, but the rooms in the hotel are quite old-fashioned and shabby, and the room service is also at a very low level

The arhitecture of the hotel is well known in whole Sofia. Guests are treated with respect and the Service at the lobby bar is perfect. Hope to see this beautiful Place again!

For example, the maid just threw a blanket on the bed, straightened it out and said that she had a lot of work today, and she would not clean, that's the kind of service

You can walk everywhere to get around(important and interesting places). Very comfortable bed(mattress, pillows). The first night it was hot under the duvet. The rooms are comfortable and cozy

So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done

It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing

Very nice 2 week business stay. Rooms large and clean, personell friendly - hospitality as it should be! I especially enjoyed the very good breakfast, but also had a few lunches and dinners

The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up

Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property

You encounter cartons, sofas, objects leaning in the corner, folders of invoices with people (they are not staff) drooling with beer, it is a very ugly image, for a moment I was thinking of giving up my reservation and losing my € 300

The absence of pool or gym also don't make it 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is good but not very various. Mini bar which was not cooling beverages inside it. You want to take something to drink, but it's totally warm

The hotel is close to the airport. if you don't know the way from the airport, just contact an information desk at the airport. It's OK to relax between flights.

We loved that the hotel is so close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle (be sure to schedule yourself for that, not just show up when you'd like to go), the rooms were clean, the bathroom was large and had good water pressure, and the hotel restaurant served delicious meals

The location by the airport with an airport shuttle is excellent. A/C controls only in the range of 20C to 25C. Restaurant on site has a decent menu

Nice environment, good service

After diner he gave me a call to check in again. This morning I was very annoyed and would have ranked one star, but they really are trying to make up for their faults and improve, so I decided to give 4 stars

During the diner, the hotel manager visited me to apologise. I appreciated that and it showed that they really try to give a good experience, but it was apparently just 'force majeure' for them

There were some issues at the start due to the arrival of two big groups and the perfect storm that came into existence as a result. The hotel offered me a free diner as a compensation

It would have been nice to have more comfortable seating out there like some outdoor couches. They supply ear plugs just in case the 9th floor gets too loud. Only one night did I hear it faintly on one side of the room

In all ways I was very happy here. Location good for local parks, sights, accessible to other areas. View terrific in room on 5th floor facing St Alex cathedral. Floor ceiling windows real nice

The hotel is in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of all major landmarks and just steps from the metro station. The spa is excellent — featuring a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and even a cold tub

The breakfast is good enough but nothing exceptional. Swimming pool is OK, sauna is good. Location is perfect if you want to be in the city center. Good restaurants, and stores within 15 minutes walking distance

Good hotel part of the Marriott offering globally (I think the only one in Sofia); location is great - as you can see from the photos attached; near by are many key sites to visit and explore; only potential issue - if you are on the top floor room you may hear music/noise from the hotel bar on the roof

The location is great, the hardware is very good, and there is English service at the front desk, but the software, service and soundproofing are not good. The front desk was still under renovation when we went there.

Having the Mall a short walk was also handy. The staff were superb and I liked the sustainability touches on lighting and offering easy refills for water too. The breakfast will also set you up for a great day in Sofia…

Like the idea that they provide bottles and water dispenser. Room is large, more than enough space. Able to see the nice sunrise every morning. Some tea spoons in the room would be a good improvement

Stayed at the Metropolitan in Sofia for a few days for the European Weightlifting Champs. Large and comfortable rooms in a convenient location for getting to the Centre, the airport or the Sofia Arena

The hotel has a great location at an intersection, and it even has a bar and an open-air restaurant, which is very convenient. It's also close to a shopping mall, just across the pedestrian bridge

Been to Sofia many times and this was our first stay at the Metropolitan. Really nice and clean hotel, the rooms are huge, nice bathroom, really nice restaurant and the location is great, too.

I spent just one night here, and it was a wonderful experience. The reception staff were very professional and friendly. The room was both clean and spacious

The handle in my bath tub came off the wall as soon as I touched it which is really dangerous. I tried to tell the front desk but they didn't seem to understand the issue

The hotel is also lovely. It's conveniently located, perfect for sightseeing. The sauna was also very good. I'd love to stay here again.

The receptionist was a bit rude, got annoyed that we bothered her, and made us wait for almost half an hour, but good customer service was not something I was expecting specifically, so it won't affect the final rating so much

From an emotional point of view, this hotel is forgettable, lacking any charisma, and loosing points for cheapening out at certain building/decorative features (things that shouldn't happen in place with 4 stars)

Most hotels don't invest in a proper network, but while I don't expect to find the ideal solution of an access point in every room, Vitosha Park really needs more access points in their cheap hallway setup

The room I stayed in was one of the renovated ones, so the furniture was pretty nice (and I really liked the walk-in shower!). The mattress was comfy, and I hope the white sheets were clean for real

Not bad service, but the language barrier was obvious. No one informed us about a card in the closet which we have to use for cleaning the room the opposite way a "do not disturb" sign works
