Food was good especially the Indian restaurant, and the snack bar is probably one of the best I've eating out of food is always fresh and hot. Overall a great hotel, with brilliant staff and would highly recommend it

I celebrated my birthday at the Toscana restaurant with my family. We were taken care of by the staff the whole time. We had a beautifully arranged table and there was a surprise champagne waiting for us

We did not expect such wonderful service. I had another surprise from the staff when they brought me a great dessert with a candle and all the waiters sang me a song. The food was more than delicious

Our room was very good and cleaned daily, free air conditioning in our room along with a beer fridge. Our balcony was over looking the pool and gardens

In morning, before 8:00 sunbeds from swimming pool was reserved with shoes, towels, sunglasses. and people come at the pool after 2-3h. The cocktail bar was no taste, just water and syrup

The stuff works very much so that tourists can have an enjoyable vacation. I admired that 🙏 Large apartments, clean pools, they even have a library 🙂, animation programs for all ages, good food & icecream 🍧

Food is quite nice and deffo tasty. Plenty of sun beds around the pool. Short walk to the beach ( did with a 1 yold and very doable). Overall good experience and would recommend

I'll allow myself to comment on the good and bad aspects of the hotel. The good: The rooms are very quiet, and overall, it's not noisy. The pool and slides are very nice. The hotel's location is excellent

They cleaned it every day, changed the towels. We had a coffee machine and a tea kettle, which I liked. The pool was very big and there were some animation activities

The staff was smiling and helpful. The centre was 1,7 km but if you don't like ealking, you can go by mini train

Entertainment is very good, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the food is a nice mixture of Bulgarian cuisine with the best of European most popular dishes

There is a game room, mini golf, lots of pools, an aquapark for the bigger and smaller ones, a bar, a restaurant, if you are going here you will have the time of your life!

The hotel is wonderful, I recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality service and a pleasant experience. I would be happy to visit it again.

The guests from the sister hotel however are allowed to reserve sunbeds at our pool despite being reported to hotel staff. Concerns were not dealt with fairly. The entertainment team were young and enthusiastic

Swimming pool is very small with limited sunbeds for the hotel size. It is totally impossible to get a sunbed unless you get up at 7am

You are not allowed to use the sister hotel next door despite the pool being much much larger and there being lots of free sunbeds

The grounds of the hotel are amazing and kept very well. There definitely isn't enough sunbeds or tables and chairs outside the bar area. I would say that the one main downfall was lack of a wc outside

It’s the second time I been to Bulgaria but not this hotel it is a lovely hotel staff are all friendly and helpful activity staff wonderful and try to get everyone to join in during the day Night time activities not great could do with some outside entertainment coming in for a bit off a change food was ok plenty variety I definitely go back to this hotel had a lovely holiday thank you everyone☀️

Pool area was immaculate, beds comfortable and always somewhere to sit. Perfectly located from the beach, 3 min walk. Beach area was decent, plenty of good bars to sit and watch the waves

Second year we have stayed here. Hotel is lovely , pool and entertainment is fab. Gaby, Lubo and Hris were brilliant. Friendly and always stopped to say hello

The Hotel has a huge pool area plenty of beds the entertainment staff are amazing the reception staff are very helpful the rooms are large we definitely had enough room for the 4 of us the only minus I could possibly give is the restaurant food needs to be warmer although there is a lot to choose from I would like to give a shout out to our pool buddies Dave & Lisa who made our stay even nicer I promise...

Absolutely outstanding experience here at Barcelo Royal Beach. We arrived here in July via Jet2Holidays for two weeks for our Honeymoon and everything we experienced was of a highest standard

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were perfect for a family vacation

Upon checking out told us to hold onto bands for 2 more hours and have lunch and enjoy the complex bit longer. Staff made the trip more enjoyable especially the young girl at bar in lobby

The hotel has really convenient location both to the beach and to lively streets. On the beach there are enough sunbeds and a bar where you can get water, beer, juice

Perfect for families with children as it is very much the offer is, everything is manageable and everything is clean. Even the toilets by the Pool are cleaned every 30 minutes. We come next year definitely again!

The room is quite large, I have a double bed and a single. I am all inclusive and the drinks are local products with real Coke zero or normal coke. The pool is large and the area clear

The pools are always kept to a very clean standard, there is 3 different sizes to cater for all ages including water slides

We are a family of SIX visiting for the second time, (as big family’s will know we do struggle to find hotel rooms big enough to cater for us) the rooms available for big family’s do not disappoint

All rooms are supplied with a washer which really helps when having children

All in all, we had a lovely time, and our kid really enjoyed every day's activities, especially disco for kids with hotel's animators. The hotel definitely needs improvement but i still recommend it

Be careful where you sit if you are non smokers because despite signage the guests smoke wherever they like! We booked for the Portofino restaurent but wasn't any better or worse than the food which is served for everyone, so nothing special

We had a room on the top floor, which was fabulous, access to all areas of the hotel and a designated area of the pool which includes cabana lounge beds

The pool areas are really clean, but, be aware that the stainless steel handrails get scorchingly hot and the Green floor tiles are really slippery

However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a bewildering choice of food options, superb facilities and great scenic views from just about all locations within the hotel, especially the rooms

The hotel is 3 stars so you get what you pay. Next to pool is the best ( simple) food place and best people to serve you (with reasonable prices). If we come back it is bekose of the food place!!!

With 4 pools and brilliant slides, our kids are still having a blast after 4 days—they spend all their time in the water and haven't gotten bored yet! The slides are very safe, and the staff is wonderful

We are currently staying at the Kotva Hotel in Bulgaria, and we couldn't be more impressed! This is our second visit to Sunny Beach, and Kotva Hotel is definitely the winner

-There are a lot of trash around the pool and sunbeds, because people cannot keep clean. In Aqua park there are many people which are not guests of the hotel and this is very uncomfortable

Last year, we stayed at Barceló, but I have to say, Kotva surpasses it in every way. Pool bar running from 12 till 18:00 with plenty of food variety. The rooms are lovely, and the food service is well-timed

It was a much better experience compared to our previous stay in the main building on the 14th floor, where we had to wait a long time for the elevator. Now, staying on the 4th floor, everything was smooth and pleasant

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Parking is available about 600 meters away, at a cost of 20 leva per day. Dining: The restaurant was not crowded, even though there were plenty of tables

But the waterpark is very good and its up and running all day a-lot of slides and fun, apart from the sauna thats closed for “covid reasons” aka to save money

Stayed here for a week, found it a bit of a let down, the 2 slides are only on at certain times, hardly any staff speak English, Food is cold every night and not a great choice, and everyday during our stay approximately 50 kids turned up for some kind of summer camp about 3 times a day and filled half the pool which spoilt it for the kids who have paid to stay here

Great hotel, I was there in summer 2023. Loved the atmosphere, service, decorations, music, location, games and animations (foam party in the pool was awesome!). The food and coffee were delicious. I surely recommend.
