We had a fantastic stay at the Alion. It’s a calm, boutique-style hotel that still manages to be welcoming to families without losing its peaceful vibe. The location is perfect — right on a quiet, clean beach, with a beautifully kept garden that feels like a little private retreat & an oasis—beautifully landscaped, with pathways shaded by palms and dotted with native flora. You can stroll barefoot to the golden beachfront, where loungers await, offering uninterrupted views of the sea.
One of the best parts for us was how seriously the hotel takes sustainability. Everything is plastic-free, from the glass water bottles to the refillable bathroom products. Even the food choices seem to reflect a more eco-conscious approach, with lots of fresh, local ingredients.
What truly elevates the Alion experience is the team of staff—attentive to a fault, yet never intrusive. They remember your preferences, check in without hovering, and go out of their way to create magic. Every interaction feels genuine and personal.
Food was another highlight: a very diverse menu, with great vegetarian and meat options, and the cocktails were amazing — creative and clearly made with care.
Rooms and shared areas were spotlessly clean, and the whole hotel has a relaxed, elegant feel. Definitely a place to unwind, but still practical and friendly for kids.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, sustainable, and quietly luxurious.

Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to all tastes, and dinner was equally impressive. Each evening featured a different culinary theme, making dining a delightful experience.
One of the highlights of our stay was the “Private Dinner” we booked. It was an incredible experience—very romantic and set in a secluded spot in the hotel’s garden with a breathtaking sea view. The food was exquisite, and having our own butler made it feel even more special and intimate. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion!

The water was crystal clear, and the beach was nice. They had all sorts of water activities. I loved it there, and I'll definitely come back again!
The rooms are very clean.
The breakfast is ok, some 4 start hotels have better one.
We arrived to the pool bar with some drinks in our hand and the kid wanted to swim, as there are no chairs or sun beds near the pool, we sit on the chairs of pool bar.
One rude man employee come and told us that we can not sit there.
So what should we do? Stand still for 2 hours or sit on the floor blocking your employees moving.
Also the thing with the mini bar is a total scam.
You fill the mini bar and charge if someone drinks from it, while knowing that the kids will never look the pricelist you have on it, Same goes for people who don't know English or are elderly.
The prices inside the hotel is to expensive more then the other hotels I stayed in the same city.
Anyway I hated my last day there.
Small pool area, kids were allowed into the adults pool which was not convenient, also i haven't seen a lifeguard. The food at Akti Pool was terrible, overpriced dishes, low quality and portion size does not reflect to the price. Come on! It's a pool restaurant not a luxury spot. Other than that it's highly recommended.
