Vrissaki Beach Hotel

The overall assessment is positive, but I will write a little more about the pros and cons. The location of the hotel is excellent, a few meters from the beach (you don’t have to pay for sun loungers on the beach, since the hotel sun loungers are a few meters from the sea). We took a room with a sea view. The view is truly beautiful, the balcony has its own sun loungers, which is very convenient, the room is larger than in many other hotels. The reception will always help and advise, very responsive staff. We took food for breakfast and dinner. The food isn't great, but you won't leave hungry. I recommend taking only breakfast, as there are many cafes around (including restaurants with national cuisine) and their prices are cheaper. The dinner costs 22 euros per person, if I’m not mistaken, and you pay separately for all drinks (at lunch and dinner there is not even regular water or tea, everything is for a fee. Of course, some drinks are included in the all-inclusive price. I don’t understand why, having paid for breakfast and dinner, my family couldn’t even get free water or tea for dessert for dinner. Drinks for the three of us cost an average of 20 euros for dinner, plus about 66 euros for food, for a total of 86 euros for a dinner with a limited choice of products and often with the same menu) In local taverns we left 65-80 euros with drinks and could choose whatever we wanted (and the choice in local taverns is actually amazing). In general, the main disadvantage of the hotel is the greed for regular water or tea for their guests. Well, I’ll make a reservation that for breakfast tea, coffee, water and some terrible liquid that they call juice were included in the price. Also one of the minuses is very poor cleaning. Towels are changed, the bed is made. It’s very dusty, a lot of debris remains on the floor and the mirrors and glass are absolutely dirty. I can say the following about the beach. The beach is large, the water is quite clean, but there are a huge number of large stones at the entrance to the sea along the entire length of the beach (except for a couple of small areas). We bought a ticket from TUI and the description indicated only sand (this was the main criterion for us when choosing a hotel), in fact the entrance to the sea turned out to be very rocky, which caused great inconvenience. I am glad that I had a rest in this hotel, I liked a lot, but I don’t understand why many hotels located on this beach line cannot clear the entrance to the sea. This is the reason why, unfortunately, I will not return here and why I cannot recommend this hotel especially to families with children. P.S But if you are in these places, I recommend buying an absolutely amazing excursion to a donkey farm, where we spent an unforgettable authentic evening with national cuisine, wine, cheese, donkeys and dancing.

I've been to this hotel before and had a good time. This time everything was fine except for the girl at the poolside bar, Marianna (a redhead with short hair). Every time she tries to rip you off in one way or another, thinking that we tourists are stupid. She laughs and speaks nicely, but on the other hand, she cheats you. I experienced it twice in the same day. What a shame...

Pillows are SO bad- make sure you ask for a new pillow during the day as the evening staff don’t have access to any cupboards. When our shower leaked they sent maintenance who did nothing as it needed proper fixing (he did leave lovely dirty footprints all over our bathroom tho which we cleaned ourself as no cleaner in the evening too) all I wanted was some towels to soak up the leak but alas no keys to the towel cupboard either…great food, bar and location but could up the customer service some.

It is one of the reasons we both like about Cyprus, along with beautiful weather.....the cuisine!
We just wanted to thank the Chef tonight for preparing our favourite menu for dinner, beef stifado, it was delicious!
Theme night menu's are hit and miss, some like them, others maybe not so, (thats me).
So, tonight hit the spot and therefore my thanks to all involved.
