The King Jason Protaras is simply amazing. We stayed here from the 26.10.2025 - 2.11.2025 for our honeymoon. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The views over Fig Tree Bay are stunning, and the pools are spotless, relaxing, and beautifully designed.
The food is exceptional — fresh, varied, and delicious at every meal — and the cocktails are some of the best we’ve had, especially when enjoyed by the pool at sunset. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotless with a gorgeous sea view.
A perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and top-notch service. Can’t recommend The King Jason Protaras highly enough — we’ll definitely be back! 🌅🍸💦

Absolutely amazing place, food is fantastic and the pool drink service is first class. Everyone works so hard to make sure your stay is out of this world.
Location is superb, already booked for next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, it was a mother and daughter holiday before my little grandson was born, very special, from the moment we arrived the staff were warm , welcoming, and attentive, the reception staff were always very helpful as were all the staff in restaurant and pool side , the cleaning staff were also willing to help, one even helped me down with the luggage, The Manager has his eye on the ball overseeing the staff and wellbeing of the guests . the good thing about this hotel it is not to big therefor easy to meet new friends if you wish , the cocktails are amazing on poolside we had non alcoholic ones but the alcoholic ones were also delicious, We would visit this hotel again and my husband and I have already talked about going back. King Jason is a perfectly nice hotel and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Rooms are well laid out and clean though the balconies are very small.

I don't totally agree with all the other reviews that rave about the food - the quality is average and the dishes on offer don't go together so it's difficult to make a cohesive meal.

Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, though most are reserved before 0930. Wish hotels enforced policies about not reserving sunbeds as it is quite annoying to see a towel on a lounger all day with no one on it until 4pm.

All in all, perfectly nice stay but nothing to rave about.

Amazing hotel with fresh food (I have an allergy, and the head chef was great). Rooms were very clean. Staff were super friendly. Never without a drink in your hand. Shout to Maria, Sofia and Denis for making our stay extra special and making us feel very welcome.

From the minute we arrived I knew this was gona be amazing. Loved that we had a ground floor room that we just walked straight out to the sun beds and pool in morning. Room was spacious and cool Didn’t even need the aircon at night. 2 massive wardrobes lush bathroom and shower area. 3 pools all different. Our fav was the massage pool. Hydro beds in the water were fab A jacuzzi tub also right next to it. Plenty of sunbeds. Never a fight to get 1 Food was amazing Omg even just the Salad bar was epic Drinks even better. I am now an iced caramel coffee drinker. Drinks menu had everything u could want Staff just lovely and couldn’t do more for u. Shout out to the pool boys for the never ending drinks service. U never went thirsty This beautiful boujee little hotel delivered everything we needed for a relaxing holiday with the closeness of Protaras ***** if u wanted abit more fun. Thank you king Jason. We will be back soon

This was our first time staying at the King Jason and it certainly won’t be the last time! The rooms are lovely and spacious, immaculately clean and very comfy bed. Fresh clean towels are supplied every day too. The staff are all really friendly and a nice touch that the manager is around all day checking you’re happy and when I didn’t feel well on our first morning in the heat, he was very attentive making sure I was ok and always asked me every day after if I was ok. The sunbeds are amazing, the most comfortable sunbed I’ve ever laid on and you don’t have to move as Asen comes round really regular to fetch you drinks, he recommended strawberry and lemon slushy as it was so hot and that was my favourite all holiday. The staff all work so hard but always have a smile and ready to fetch you drinks. The food is really good too, I am a very fussy eater but always found something I liked and the desserts are to die for, a chocoholics dream! We loved it here so much we had booked somewhere else for next year but already changed it to the King Jason again, can’t wait to return, the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

We're currently at the hotel at the time of this review ie first two weeks of July. We've stayed here before pre COVID and as before the hotel staff go above and beyond to make your stay here as relaxed as possible. Being a boutique hotel means your given just that little bit more in terms of care and attention. From the moment we got here we've not really had to ask for anything, we've spent most of the time around the pool and not had a problem getting seats and a brolly. The lads around the pool work so hard to make sure your never without a drink . Special thanks to Asen for he's unwaivering enthusiasm and very cheery nature. I don't know how he keeps going in the boiling sun all day and then behind the bar with he's wife at night. Whatever they're paid it can't be enough! Can't recommend this hotel enough and we'll be back next year, fingers crossed.

We returned yet again for the 4th time .Still the best hotel we have stayed in to date. The staff make this hotel. So friendly and now on first name terms with some .Greeted with a hug and welcome back from Antonia on reception. Always first class service from Denis who takes your drinks orders around the jacuzzi pool .He has looked after us every time we have been. Great food and drink, location and comfy sunbeds along with another perfect room .Nicolas the manager always says hello and asks if all is good. The only small negative is crack of dawn sunbed reserving. A case of you can't beat them so have to join them .Don't let this put you off an otherwise great hotel. We wouldn't stay anywhere else every time we visit Protaras.

A new benchmark for our Cyprus holidays. We visited King Jason and having visited Cyprus 3 times prior I don’t think I would be come back unless it was staying at King Jason. We visited for our honeymoon and I dont think we could go back to anywhere else. Staff are attentive, food is superb and hotel is everything you could possible need. We spoke to and heard numerous people who said this their X time which speaks volumes. Thank you to King Jason for a perfect honeymoon, we will be back for sure !
