Berlin, DE Berlin Schoneberg BER 🧭 Map
Good hotel, rooms are a bit small and it is indeed suitable for adults
Had a good time, low season so not much happening in the hotel if you were interested in having some drinks at the bar. We tried breakfast, good choice and amount for the price. Jacuzzi was nice , the gym had enough machines to workout the minimum. All staff was nice and polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend .
I recently stayed at the Axel Hotel in Berlin for three days, and overall, it was a good experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Javier and Valentina at the front desk. They were incredibly polite and professional, setting a great tone for my stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and fun, with gay pop music creating a lively vibe throughout. The rooms are uniquely designed...
I’ve stayed many times at Axel. It’s the perfect hotel to be in the heart of the gay life. The service is always respectful and top notch. Shoutout to Valentina at the front desk! Axel is my favorite and I’m a long time customer who has been almost to their all locations :) If you’re reading this and considering this hotel, don’t hesitate and enjoy Gay Berlin!
I had a great stay in the hotel during the weekend. The personel was very welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. The spa area is a big plus. Many thanks to the manager Sebastian and the reception team Carla and Mahmoud. Till next time!
Good one. Location is nice. Carla and Valentina were very friendly and allowed early check-in. Room has all you need, but this one is a bit cold (hope I will figure it out) and has a bit of dump smell, maybe because of being on top floor. Stayed in other rooms here, and it was good

Just an awesome place to stay! Super friendly and professional service! A superb breakfast buffet and an awesome range of food offerd a la carte! The rooms are clean and cozy! The beds are wonderful! Anytime again!!!!
Rooms are clean and comfortable but dated. Music was playing outside near hotel for a while but fell asleep anyways. Breakfast buffet had various things and wonderful quiet seating outside with good view. Helpful staff as well.
Over all, hotel was great but if you were planning on wearing swim suit in the pool and hot tub area, you will be the only one. Nude men & women everywhere.🧐 That was a shocking surprise and maybe a little uncomfortable but maybe that’s the culture in Berlin ?! 😱 Great friendly staff and very helpful! Clean and comfortable rooms, quiet and nice location but the rooms are missing AC and a fridge. The...
It is a good choice if you're searching for a German kitchen orientated restaurant. In the menu you'll find soups, steaks, duck salads and more. Also for vegetarians or vegans is a good choice of dishes available. When it comes to deserts, in my opinion, the menu could need some more invention as it is mainly ice cream based. I did not order a desert but others out of our group did. The decoration...

Clean and comforting hotel in Berlin. The staff are helpful. Rooms are small but not that big as well. We did not test the breakfast as we had to live very early in the morning. Some rooms have beautiful balcony to enjoy the view.
Good business hotel with a good location in Berlin, close to the underground and suburban rail. Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle, but not top far away if you like some action. Rooms well appointed and clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet varied and well stocked. The only minor complaint is that the scrambled eggs are a bit dry. I'd recommend it for visiting the city a couple of days...
Beautiful, comfortable, ergonomic! Spacious rooms Delicious Breakfast Parking killed on the territory of the red cross??? Well, there are places where absolutely EVERYTHING is thought out and well organized. Metro station - 30 meters Restaurants-bars - around 40 pieces. Will be back in no time!
This is a good hotel in a southern suburb of Berlin. It is near an underground stop. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a buffet breakfast that has wide variety of wholesome food, hot and cold.

Just lovely. Very good, organic breakfast, nice bar, bikes and games for sjared use, good beds in spacious room. Good location with an aboundance of restaurants in the neoghbourghood ans good subway connections
Beautiful decor, friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. We felt this place was a lovely find. We booked the 4 bed loft room - and had 2 teens with us. Room could have benefited from an additional mirror, outside of the bathroom, and 4x cups for drinking water, instead of the 2 privided. All else was great.
Stayed one night at this very cool hotel! Charming bar with friendly staff. Had a small garden, where you can sit and enjoy a drink. Nice room with cool interior and the whole hotel building is really something different. A very positive experience that took me by surprise😀
Great Value for the Money. Nice location, friendly staf, (except in the check-in- to busy onb her own phone during the check -in). Nice big and clean room. Good breakfast. Locatd on a big sreet, but still reasonable noice level.
Cosy, quirky hotel a half hour walk to Brandenburg gate and Reichstad. Friendly staff. Small room but comfortable enough. Good buffet breakfast with choice of hot and cold options . Only criticism would be that a coffee machine in the room would be very appreciated.
I liked the vibe, this kind of bohemian eco-resort type of building. The rooms were spacious, and I appreciate the Berlin high ceilinged architecture. The restaurant was unfortunately not open during our stay, which is a shame, as I'd looked very much forward to the Lebanese cuisine. It suited us, a group of colleagues, quite well, and the outdoor areas were nice to hang around in. I would have appreciated...

We stayed here Monday - Friday, visiting Berlin to see the Christmas markets. Upon arrival at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff members, as well as how beautiful the building is inside. Our room was very spacious and had everything we could need, we also had a fantastic view of the TV tower. We liked that our room had a Juliet balcony, allowing us to let in fresh...
Just come back from a 4 night stay here and I have to say it was spot on. Handy location and easy access to everything in Berlin. Considering it's a self hotel it was still fab. The room was beautiful and clean. Handy location and easy access to everything in Berlin. Although my only negative point about the room was that the shower and sink was in the area as the bed and everything else. This may...
Great location and very comfortable room. Close enough to Alexanderplatz for transport but far enough away from the tackiness of that part of the city. The in house restaurant is good as is the offering in the deli. I would recommend
The hotel room was extremely clean, had a view of the tower, and featured a nice design. It was also close to a grocery store and offered easy access to public transport. For someone who wants an authentic walk through the city, you can easily reach the main street from Alexanderplatz, seeing many sights along the way. Nearby is also the Museumsinsel, where you can enjoy cultural and historical experiences...
We were not very happy with our choice of accommodation. You have to request room service in a very strange way. You are somewhat on your own. No staff at reception. Good English skills required to communicate with the team. Although you write in German, you get answers in English. But for young people who are not demanding and are looking for cheap accommodation with comfort, it's just right. The...
The location is great—close to everything you might need. The rooms and facilities were clean and well-maintained but on the smaller side. A big bonus is access to the gym next door, which was a great perk.

The location is quite, 15-20 minutes to center by bus. Rooms are clean and tidy. Price/value is ok.
We returned yet another time though only for one night... and enjoyed the stay. Nice to be greeted upon arrival as a known guest and feel that you are welcome! The breakfast is outstanding with an unusual varied selection of any wish how to start your day!!!! Bravo..
Fantastic Hotel in great location. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Amazing breakfast buffet.

Always a pleasant stay here. A little dated these days but well maintained. Would be nice if the bar opened at some point. Stayed here 3 times and never seen the bar open. It looks pristine but that's no surprise as no one is allowed near it. Lost a star for lack of bar.
The staff is really nice, the rooms are always clean when you get back. During this hard time the staff manages to make the stay easy and contactfree. The breakfast is usually a buffet but now it's a pre-order but still it's very nice and you can choose between light, sweet and meaty :)
The hotel was nice and the location was fantastic. The staff could be a bit friendlier, but they were always able to help. The rooms were clean, and the bed comfy (but not sure why we had 2 single duvets rather than 1 double).
Room is very big and clean, and location is good but the decor is dated. Bathroom was nice and updated. Doesn't include any extras for the price, definitely more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel (no coffee maker, but they gave us a tiny tea kettle and cups by request, but of course didn't include any coffee or tea). Breakfast is outrageously priced. However, staff is very friendly and it is...
Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Room is a really decent size and very clean. Only downside is my partner and I booked a double room and what we got was two single mattresses pushed together and two single duvets. We made do but was a bit disappointed and a little confused.
Good hotel, right next to S-bahn's and U-U-bahns, only about a 3 minute walk. Very central to berlin and good housekeeping. Just be careful the shower doesnt overflow as the shower head was a bit dodgy in our room.

I love the sustainable concept of the hotel. The vegan food is amazing and the sauna with the cosy roof top garden is a super plus.
Lovely staff, great location, clean and sweet spot. Keep it up guys
No fresh vegetables/ salads for breakfast (everything is served cooked). Pillows too big and uncomfortable. Apart from that - very nice place. Chili sin carne is perfect!:)

Enjoyed My Stay The Ringhotel Seehof is comfortable and convenient to the Ubahn & easy to navigate from. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and also speak English. I stayed at this hotel for the second time and again was very pleased with my stay. The staff (especially the waiter) was very kind and dining options were great (although I can't review the breakfast as I didn't use it this time). Only dissapointment: Hotel writes about Sauna. First, it was not turned on. Second: It was used as storage room. Would also be nice with bath divided for men and women in the pool area.
The hotel was from walking distance from Charlottenburg train station, and was situated in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. We loved our recent stay at the Hotel Oderberger. The room was unique, stylish and spacious for a family of four. Hotel staff were great and breakfast was expensive but delicious. A truly lovely place to stay in a fun neighborhood close to transport connections that will take you anywhere you need to go.
The pool water is advertised as 26°C, but it feels a bit cooler than expected. It's not cold, and if you're swimming, it’s fine, but if you're just walking around or looking to relax, it might feel a bit chilly. There are no designated swimming lanes, which can make the experience chaotic. You'll depend on others to be mindful of their surroundings, and you also need to stay alert. If you're there...
Amazing experience, especially given that we were studying at the GLS language school on site. We booked the tower room, which had a wonderful view. The location was simply perfect, with cafes, restaurants (many vegan options), bars, laundry, grocery, and transit just a stone's throw away. The bar was so luxurious to hang out in (both inside and outside), and the workout room was great - we used it...
Lovely with a quirk. The hotel is excellent! Our one complaint is that the doors for the rooms on the main floors as well as between areas of the facility don't close softly on their own. It's quite loud and can be heard clearly in your room, like a book falling face down.
Super friendly staff. Great bar and pool. Sun terrace and gym were a bonus as was the collection of great hangout spots (wine bars and cafe’s) in the local area.

We loved the location of the hotel, the size of the room and the decor. There could be more shelving and a mini-bar, but the restaurant below supplies everything. The water pressure in the shower was great, but we only had cold water one of the days, which was fixed by the end of the day. The shower head itself could do with an exchange, as it was spraying water from the handle. The staff in the hotel...
The hotel, the service and the room were all amazing. Also, there is a bus station in front of the hotel, and a metro station a few minutes from the hotel. Also, the breakfast was delicious, but a little expensive. Also, keep in mind that you may have to pay the Germany's taxes (17€) when you arrive at the hotel, because not all the websites have them included in the price. Generally, an amazing experience...
What a great place to stay. One of very few hotels that truely feels like home. We stayed in the extra large room filled with daylight and green plants. The beds are fine. The bathroom had a good shower. The music player in the room and vinyl records are a nice extra touch to the over all experience.
Great hotel, the staff were friendly & helpful. The room was a good size, clean & a very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast / bar area downstairs which had a fun atmosphere in a nice location.
Great hotel, really friendly employees, comfy bed, cute and very useful balcony in our room, which was great as it was hot! The breakfasts were delicious and very popular!
Cute hotel in a really nice location. We had the panorama room which was wonderful with the balcony. As the hotel is suitable for dogs, there was some dog smells in the room/bathroom. The shower in the room they wanted to put us in was broken Then I had to pay 45€ more so that I could get a decent room, which isn't that great. I've already paid enough and had to pay on top of that, very sad
This is an apartment and the rooms will not be cleaned. Please be careful when booking. The location is relatively convenient, just outside the subway station

The Hotel is close to shopping streets. Hotel location is just 5 minutes from metro station on foot. In the room furnitures are quite old. Hotel is not dirty. Overall a nice experience but not a 4-star experience. Rooms are old, no amenities in the bathroom and for our dog only two empty bowls, no dog mat as stated during the booking. Staff is nice but some of them have trouble with the basic English and can’t properly explain what hotel offers. Very good position but honestly considered what we paid it would have been better a much cheaper chain hotel.
Perfect location central to everywhere we wanted to go in the city! Around the corner from a train stop, but on a quiet street. Walking distance to multiple shops and cafes. Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, free laundry facilities, a stocked mini-fridge with beer and water. We had a great time. Would absolutely stay here again!
The staff was excellent, and the complimentary bottle of beer each day was a nice touch. The apartments are spacious with comfortable mattresses, but for a four-star hotel, the shower spaces should be larger, and air conditioning is essential, as the fans provided are not effective during the summer.

Very nice stay. I’m a repeat guest and I do love this place. What slightly spoiled my enjoyment was the absence of a coffee machine in the room. Also they stopped offering room service, which the great staff tried to accommodate me as much as possible. But still for a property of this class, I’d expect that option. The century-old Renaissance-style building is definitely worth staying in! The room's decor is very unique, but there were strange pipe noises coming from inside at night.
