ibis Berlin Kurfuerstendamm

It was a pleasant experience with the hotel during my stay in Berlin. You can expect a vibrant yet calm neighborhood with many malls around for shopping, a grocery store in close proximity, U bahn station and all. You can easily take the RE train from airport and get off at Zoology garden and have a small walk to hotel. Do not expect to find main attractions close by, they are in public transport range though.

Most of the rooms are very small compared with other Ibis around the world and compared with rates ...some rooms at the upper levels , 7th ,8th and 9th are better .. and spacious . Some of them have a balcony which is perfect .. Moreover, still the AC issue is a big problem especially in winter or Autumn where the weather is severely changing nowadays and sometimes you need to warm the room and sometimes you need to cool it or ventilate it ..and here the AC at this hotel doesn't work well .. it is even you cannot feel the airflow coming out of the AC duct .

Clean hotel, rooms big enough for short stay. Bed for me (125kg) could be better. Breakfast was great, service with a smile. In the evening you can still get your coffee etc and pay at the desk.
Very good choice for the money and so close to great restaurants and urban life

My stay at ibis Berlin Kurfuerstendamm was totally perfect! The location of the hotel is incredibly central, making it easy to explore Berlin, and the price was very affordable, especially compared to my experiences in other European hotels. The rooms were just what I needed—comfortable and well-maintained—and the room service was consistently helpful and positive.

I want to give a special shoutout to the gentleman at the reception. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but he’s a Jewish guy with an Italian girlfriend who helped me a lot during my stay. I had a bit of a rough start with my flight being delayed and my baggage stuck in Istanbul for two days, which was really frustrating. But when the baggage finally arrived at the hotel, he immediately brought it up to my room, which was a huge relief.

He was also incredibly helpful with recommendations about Berlin's destinations and really knows all the hidden gems of the city. One day, I was craving Italian food, and he recommended the best Italian restaurant in the city (that’s how I learned about his Italian girlfriend). The food was amazing, just like he said!

I tried to find him during the last few days of my stay to thank him personally, but it seems we were on different schedules. I really want to thank him because he made my first trip to Berlin so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Berlin with excellent service, I highly recommend ibis Berlin Kurfuerstendamm!

I've visited this Ibis location several times because of its convenient, central location.
Check in/out was quick and uncomplicated as always. On this occasion I was in Berlin for a concert and had forgotten to print out my tickets - the reception staff immediately offered to print them for me and also gave some information about the venue. These extra touches make a visit that bit easier and enjoyable so thank you for that.

The hotel meets the expectations just fine. Nothing extraordinary. The service was good most of the time. Now, the issue is that my wife's sleeping clothes were lost one day that cleaning service entered and cleaned up the room, unfortunately we could never find them, very suspicious. They never responded for that, so be careful, they can take things and they do not respond.

Typical Ibis hotel in good location. My room was on a higher floor and not too noisy. Service was friendly. Room furniture Ibis standard = comfortable bed. Bar was still closed due to Covid, small shop (fridge) available though. Nice neighborhood-bar just across the street also available. Prices were a bit high for an Ibis but similar to other option during the time of my stay. In sum, nothing to complain about if you just seek for a comfortable place to sleep. Didn’t try breakfast.

Great location right across from KaDeWe. Service was very helpful and the rooms were great.
