This hotel is new and clean. Much larger room than we expected for a European hotel...very similar to nicer US hotel chains. The location was perfect for us with the metro station right out front. Berlin was experiencing the worst rain in a 60 history while we were there, but the Murcure staff luckily had extra umbrellas so we could race across the square to a restaurant. The staff spoke great English (thank you SO much for that...we really appreciated it☺). The decor is funky, hip and cool...large portraits of models and modern art and fixtures. Because of this stay, I would feel comfortable staying at any Mercure and will likely seek it out as a reasonably priced option on future trips to Europe.

This place has rave reviews. Experience so far has been 4/5 stars but I'm being a bit generous. Two of the best things about this hotel are location (next to underground and KaDeWe) and price. The beds are somewhat stuff but very sleepable. The weirdest thing about the hotel is the way they make the beds. I'd say the size of mine is about a queen but they only give you two comforters that are for a twin size (not even any sheets). So just using one comforter is barely enough to cover me (adult male). The thermostat is also odd as it doesn't seem to function very well but glad to have A/C. Staff has been helpful but the gent who checked me in barely helped out with the basic orientation (breakfast time, elevator, bar hours, etc). Overall, as a solo traveler on some business/fun I'd recommend it.

This lovely hotel is very well located and it's super nice! The staff who helped us was so nice and polite! A girl from Canary Islands (spain) was so cute with us! We loved it here. And very good breakfast! You should come and try.

Very quirky decor here, especially in the rooms. All of the furniture, including the bed, was very stiff but at the end of the day, totally functional. I think the biggest selling point for this place is its location. I would stay here again just for its location in the city. Everything seemed easily accessible from here.

I stayed at the Mercure Hotel with a friend for 4 nights. The staff were really nice and helpful. Location is great, with the underground station just in front of the hotel. Rooms are clean but not very large. Overall it was great!

Nice hotel in perfect location right beside U2 and near shopping district. The rooms were good but they didn't have non carpet options and the large picture of the woman is odd. The breakfast was ok and it could be improved.
