i am pretty sure every single interaction at reception being really rude and dry just for the sake of it. half the reception staff cannot speak english and talk to you in German. Do better.

BEWARE of this place. There were two major issues: 1. The staff would not refund me even though I wanted to check out early and I booked directly with the hotel. 2. The quality of the rooms was low.

I stayed in Room 440. There were several things wrong with the room. First, there were tile bits in the bathroom shower and floor which were chipped and broken. Second, there were stained bed sheets. Third the electrically controlled sun shade which is used to keep the room cool in the day was inoperable. The climate control in the room could not keep up with the intense heat from the afternoon sun.

I talked to the front desk because I wanted to check out of the hotel 1/2 through my stay. I wanted a refund on the remaining part of my stay. They said it was not in their power to make that decision. I had to email the main office. By the next day the main office still had not replied to my email. I kept asking at the front desk and they (the front desk) eventually sent me a response saying no they would not refund me. Their position was that because there were no widely attended activities in Berlin during the scheduled time they were not likely to be able to re-rent the room. By this time I had gone online and looked at their nightly rate. It was 100 Euro less than what they were charging me. So I sent another email to the main office asking for a price adjustment to the advertised nightly rate. This time they ignored my email and did not reply at all.

Management and the team here are not looking to make repeat customers.

The cleaning ladies will knock on your door hardly every morning in order to clean your room. On the check-out day, they knocked and ask “what time are you going to leave?”. The feel is bad when you wake up and have this question.
The towels are dirty with dust.
But the location is good.

The service staff is very bad. Called to inform in advance that we would be late for check-in. because the airline was delayed When I arrived, I called the staff 2 times, they didn't answer, and I answered the phone again. Informed that once the door was opened for me, I waited for more than 20 minutes and it didn't open During that time, I called the accommodation again. Until the people whostaying here walked in Open to enter and told us should to go wait for check-in inside. When we entered, the employees who are working here were sitting inside. But he didn't come out to open the door and ask how we can come in And the phone still rings from us caller. But the employee chose not to answer the phone. Not only call We also sent a message that we had arrived.The service is very bad. I will not come back to stay here again. The worst I've ever encountered in my life.

We pay for stay here we not ask for free !

I have been staying in this hotel every time I have visited Berlin since 2015. My experience this time has been very poor. Their breakfast has always been impeccable. This time it was more than disappointing. Bread and pastries all stale, the scrambled eggs and the bacon were cold, cheeses and charcuterie of low quality. Really disappointing for breakfast that costs 16 euros.

The room was definitely not clean. For the price we expect a level of cleanliness that doesn't reflect that of a motel. The carpet had spots of what I could see as food or throw up. The bathroom shower has mildew and missing tiles on the floor. We only stayed for a night and we brought it up to the front desk the next morning during check out. Hopefully the next person can have a clean room.
