Super 8 by Wyndham Dresden

Great hotel on great location. Only thing I didn't like is that hotel parking for motorcycle you must pay for 22 € night what is too much and it's not written on hotel pages. I traveled all over the Germany and i didn't pay for motorcycle parking anywhere. This was the first time.

All you need for 1 night stay. Spacious room, good location and friendly staff.

WiFi issues as many people stated before.
Parking cost 22€/night. A bit overpriced but well.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is just a short 20 minute walk from old town.

Clean bed, clean room, good breakfast, nice staff. In room 528 the extractor fan in the bathroom was noisy. And for some reason the cleaning lady knocks at 9 am with a question about cleaning, thereby waking up the guests.

Liked: We really liked the fact that it was close to the city center, aprox. 15 minutes and we have reached Augustusbruecke. The parking price it is true that it is a little bit expensive for one night (22 euro/night), but you can go out and in if you need to use the car whenever you want. We did not have an issue with finding a place in the parking and there were a lot of parking places available. I think it is safer to leave the car there. We also liked really much the breakfast, you have so many options from which you can choose. The bottle of water in the room free of charge when you arrive.

Disliked · We did not like the temperature in the room. When we have arrived the heating system was turned of and it was really cold in the room (aprox 18 degrees, outside were like -2) We turned it on, and we found out that the maximum you can set it to 24 C degrees. We wanted to set it up a little higher to heat the room, but the temperature got reverted to 24 everytime. We left it on 24 and put it on MAX, only to find out when we returned back from the city that it is still cold in the room and the ventilation seem to not work. They do not have carpet on the floor, only tiles and the duvet is a bit thin.
The room remained at the same temperature (18-19 degrees), which for us is a bit too cold and maybe the heating system is not working properly, as the ventilation did not seem to have a proper sound when turned to MAX.

The arrival wasn't smooth, however The rest have made up for it. We made reservation for arriving after 00.00. We paid extra fee for that. When arrived The guy said he had canceled our reservation ,because his colleague didn't write what time after 00.00. so after 15 min wait ,and the guy explaining that he had locked the cashmachine (closing the day). we could in the end get a room. the rest was good. beds, shower, room, quiet, breakfast was very good and everyone more than friendly, so hence we keep the 5 stars.

Convenient location close to Hbf, and right in front of tram stop as well. Room was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel, enjoyed my stay.
