Completely new and well established hotel near the city center.
Good furnished rooms and nice restaurant with harbor and city view.
Has underground parking.

Bathroom with no privacy (no door to sink, shower&toilet door opens straight to bed), noisy room service in the mornings (loud talking, slamming doors), noise from neighboring rooms (understand every word at normal talking level), not the quality you would expect at the Melia Group

I made a mistake in the reservation booking and requested their assistance in less than 5 minutes after. Although there were available rooms in the property they proposed in rebooking… !
I have traveled in several countries and hotels this is the first time I had to experience this kind of service in a 5 star hotel…

I was able to spend some time here recently. When I came home one night, my room was disorganised and I had a few belongings stolen.
When I told the receptionist about the situation, she said she was unable to help and laughed about it with her colleague

Lovely hotel with amazing views on Düsseldorf and the Rhine. Rooms are nice and recent, rooftop bar is very nice and staff very friendly.

I like this hotel, great breakfast nice rooms, nice views through the windows. Just the ventilation is questionable I have stayed there in the summer or winter and always had an issue to lower the temperature in the room. It is always way too hot in there, and the a/c does not seem to be regulated by the switches provided.

Nice & clean rooms, with good views from higher floors. A noisy fan ran all night because a/c cannot be switched off. Check in staff were friendly. Some interesting architecture surrounds the hotel, including the 1999 Frank Gehry complex. The restaurant food was not appealing, prices not justified by the quality. Likewise breakfast was acceptable but a little disappointing and overpriced.

The service at the check-in was patronising and unfriendly. I came 1.5 hours earlier and no room was available. The receptionist was not helpful at all and did not ask the cleaning team if there was a room cleaned already. So came back after 1.5 h same story, but another receptionist, and after serious discussions, they found a room. I felt like a beggar and not as a guest. Awful. The staff in the restaurant and bar were very professional and friendly. Next time I stay in the Marriot. I do not want to be treated like this again.

No doubt, the hotel is very good with spacious stylish rooms and a wonderful view, also in the cocktail bar on the 13 th floor.
But, you have to scan your ID when checking in. They keep photos of the front and back of your ID. They tell you they only keep it for a day, but no one knows and their system can be hacked during that day. Privacy is crucial and I won't stay there anymore because if this. Sorry.

Been there for an overnight stay, the view of the harbour from the room was exceptionally gorgeous. To be precise one of the best location to stay to enjoy the city line and Rhein from room and bath.
Room was extremely clean and great amenities.The entire room, corridors and the hotel had a unique scent which I wanna buy on my next visit 💯.
Also to add, inclusive Mini bar was a plus point.
Special thanks to the front office team which was really nice, friendly and helpful while checking in and even later.
