The Atrium Hotel

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Instead of a proper wall, there was a door separating my room from the adjacent one, making it impossible to have any privacy. I could hear everything—from sneezing to conversations—which was extremely uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, with visible stains in the toilet, weird cigarette smell, which was absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, I was charged a "City Fee" of €4, something I was not informed about in advance. Having stayed at multiple hotels in Frankfurt City Center, this was the first time I encountered such a charge. The lack of transparency regarding additional fees was frustrating.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to poor room design, cleanliness issues, and unexpected charges.

We stayed in January and heating didn’t work at all, so room was cold all the time. Also there was a smell of cigarettes and weed in the room. Good only if you need it for one night close to main train station and center

Don’t stay here unless it’s your only option. It should’ve been a sign to not stay here when my emails went unanswered on how to arrange the airport shuttle pickup.

The website states there is an airport shuttle but we never saw one. We used the train from the airport which we were only able to figure out thanks to help from helpful people.

The person at reception was nice & helpful, the room was clean, and the beds were extremely FIRM. We had a room facing an inside type of courtyard and there wasn’t road noise but there were people talking loudly all through the night that echoed throughout the courtyard. Then about 1 AM the thick smell of pot came flooding in our room through the ventilation system. Enough that it gave me an upset stomach. We stayed one night during midweek. It was one night too long. We did not receive breakfast.

Be careful, I was there on a business trip and the receptionist requested for tourist tax. In the end I paid the tourist tax but of course without getting a receipt. Only private travellers have to pay tourist tax.
You have to go to another hotel for breakfast. This would be a very nice information before booking. Very unpleasant.
You should also know that the hotel is located in the railway station district, which is one of the most dangerous areas in Germany.
To be hones, better sleep further out in Frankfurt next time but hey 10min away from main station.
