I would like to give this hotel a better rating. The rooms are really nice and the location is very central. Now unfortunately comes the but. We had a very unpleasant experience with the attached restaurant/bar. Not only that the breakfast is organized very poorly. You have to load your plate in the self-service in one wing and order the coffee and also pick it up yourself at the counter, then balance with it through the hall of the reception and the waiting guests to the other wing and take a seat there at large communal tables. It may look stylish, but it is very uncomfortable and too much stress in the morning for my taste. But that wasn't even the bad experience. We were there with a larger group for a business convention for several days. We were told the restaurant closes at 23:00 the bar, but you can still order something to go, and then let the day end on the rooftop bar. So far so great, has also worked on the first evening. We wanted to repeat the beautiful experience on the second evening. We returned to the hotel with over 15 people extra 20 min before 23:00 and wanted to take a few bottles of wine for the rooftop. But the manager wanted to close earlier and was immediately very aggressive. Instead of investing 5 min for a considerable turnover within his opening hours, he preferred to reprimand us and then sent us to a bar that was supposedly still open for us. Obviously he just wanted to get rid of us, because the way was not 5-10, but 20 min walk and the bar was a disco with advance booking. When we returned to the hotel unhappy almost an hour later, we drew the attention of the reception to the really very unfriendly service and the unnecessary action with the bar. What can I say, it escalated quickly. Our 155 cm tall colleague suddenly found herself facing a 190 cm tall night porter who insulted us as an associative pack, because we could not simply accept that other people are closing time. It almost came to a fisticuffs. We even had to call the police. All very amazing....
