Great hotel with cozy green grounds and one of the best beaches in Sharm El Sheikh with comfortable sandy entrance to the sea and the beautiful coral reef. The hotel is situated on a hill offering scenic views of the Red sea. Along the coast stretches one of the most beautiful coral reefs, which is named the Natural Park of corals.

Located directly at the Cliff of Ras Um Sid, the Faraana Reef Resort overlooks the Red Sea. It includes a private beach, 3 swimming pools and a club. Diving and other water sports can be arranged upon request.
All rooms and suites at the Faraana feature a balcony or terrace with a garden, pool or sea view. Each one includes a satellite TV, a minibar and a closet. The suite includes a spacious living room.
Guests can feast on a selection of grilled dishes served at the Panorama and Grill Restaurant while enjoying the spectacular sea view. Cocktails, mocktails and light snacks are served at the 3 pool bars.
After an energizing workout at the gym, guests can enjoy a game of tennis at the tennis court. For more relaxed options, a sauna and a hot tub are available at the spa for an additional fee.

Pros:
• The sea entry is really nice, and the corals are very beautiful.
• The location is also good – right next to the most popular café in Egypt, Farsha Café.
And as sad as it sounds, that’s it. Going to this hotel just for a nice sea entry and to have Farsha Café nearby makes no sense.
Cons:
Food:
There seemed to be enough food, but the way it was cooked was clearly aimed only at quantity, not quality. (One of the pies was raw – why put out food that isn’t even fully cooked?)
Everything was oily, greasy, and deep-fried – after such food, neither my stomach nor yours would thank you.
In the dining area, I would expect to see clean, proper pans and stoves for cooking, not ones covered in burnt residue and leftovers from previous meals.
Territory:
Everything needs more care and maintenance. The floors should be cleaned regularly, both in the lobby and around the hotel grounds. The tiles near the pool are broken – what can parents with children say about that?
Staff:
The staff should look presentable, but the way they looked reflected the neglected state of the hotel grounds. Oversized, torn, dirty T-shirts – maybe this doesn’t matter to some people, but for a 4-star hotel, it absolutely does.
Room Cleaning:
When we checked in, there was dust everywhere. The floor was dirty, and the shower had mold and grime.
Our room was a standard one – we didn’t expect a sea view, but we did expect it to be clean and tidy, and it wasn’t.
The floor in our room was never mopped during our stay. The bed linen wasn’t changed once. For toilet paper, we had to go to the reception and ask for it – apparently, the housekeeper didn’t notice it was running out.
In terms of toiletries, there was only soap and shampoo – and not enough for three people over six days. They were never replenished.
