Amphoras Aqua Hotel

This is the worst hotel ever. If you arent arabic, dont even come here. Arabic speaking people have priority in all queues. I was first in the queue so I should have gotten my pizza first and I waited half an hour because they gave it to Arabic speaking people first. It happened ecery single day! Employees are very dismissive. They ignored us during the conversation and service. The air conditioning in our room was bad and they didnt help us or change room. We only had 1 car per family so the air con didnt work when we werent in, its not a big problem but it took 4-5 hours until the room cooled down. We stayed here in August so its was hooot! The only good thing about this hotel is the location and view. There was no evening shows etc. Do not go there!

Firstly, the beds in the room were quite uncomfortable. The mattresses did not provide adequate support, making it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Additionally, a plastic sheet placed under the bed sheet created noise with every movement and caused the sheet to slip off repeatedly, disrupting my sleep.

Furthermore, I had a very unsettling experience when I discovered a lizard in my room. As someone who is not accustomed to such encounters and has a strong fear of lizards, this incident caused me considerable distress and anxiety.

Another issue I would like to bring to your attention is the strong and pervasive odor in the dining area. The smell was so overpowering that after dining, my hair and T-shirt absorbed the food odor. This was particularly unpleasant, as I had to change my T-shirt immediately upon returning to my room to avoid the lingering smell.

Additionally, I noticed that the quality of the salad ingredients was quite poor. For instance, half of the arugula on my plate was wilted or rotten, making it inedible. This was disappointing and did not meet the standard of quality I expected.

Moreover, I observed that the serving utensils in the dining area were consistently dirty, which is a major concern for hygiene and greatly impacted my dining experience.

I also found the shampoo and conditioner provided in the room to be of very poor quality. Furthermore, essential items such as cotton swabs and slippers were not provided in the room, which I found to be quite surprising and inconvenient.

Considering these issues, I must express my disappointment, as I could have stayed at much nicer hotels for the same price. Unfortunately, under these conditions, I cannot provide positive feedback regarding your hotel.

The most bored staff of any resort I've ever been to!
When we arrived, from reception, a member of staff pointed in a general direction and said your room is somewhere in there. It was a 5ish min walk.
The alcoholic drinks were awful, I always needed to add another cupful of juice on top to make them palatable. There were only a handful of options (the rest were not included in the all inclusive package), and some of the staff needed to look at the menu to make them cos they didn't know what they contained, which made getting a drink a chore cos you had to wait 10minutes with no queue to get 2 drinks.
The "a la carte" option was them bringing you the same food that was in the normal buffet, but you got to be outside. Wouldn't recommend. It also takes forever for them to acknowledge you (it was the same staff member that couldn't make a cocktail).
My boyfriend got food poisoning. Some of the salads smelled like what my fridge smelled after being broke for 3 days in the summer.
I met the staff as they finished cleaning my room. They hung around hoping for a tip..
The "entertainment" was of such a low quality during the day and at night! On Saturday night they had a "white party" where we had to go to the sister resort to the beach and pay for even the bad drinks that were included in the all inclusive. The party was absolutely horrible, with an entertainer that had just discovered the mute button and was using it excessively. It was just cringe!
The water slides are very slow, you can't get any speed on them, and the tiles at the bottom of the pool in that area are uneven, so I managed to scrape my heel coming down one of the slides. They're only open 2 hours in the morning and 2 after lunch, 10-12, 15-17.
The "gym" is out in the open with shitty, old, sun baked equipment.
