My recent stay at Desert View Sharm was the worst I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, which was unbearably hot due to a broken air conditioner despite the temperature being over 45 degrees, I was met with disappointment. The hotel manager, who was unfriendly and inflexible, insisted on charging extra for my child and forced us to pay for dinner. He then mockingly assigned us a room at the far end of the hotel, right next to a repair workshop.
The hotel did not feel safe and was filled with mosquitoes. While the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, the lack of Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, except in the non-air-conditioned lobby, was frustrating. The restaurant was another disaster – the food was terrible and the service was extremely poor. The only edible items were the fruits. After two days, the hotel manager implemented a new, complicated system for meals and drinks, adding previously unmentioned charges.
Additionally, the hotel is not conveniently located near restaurants, cafes, or the beach, making it relatively far from most services, with only a few supermarkets nearby.

The worst place I have ever been in my life
1- The manager is a bully, unhelpful, and inflexible , He created a problem with Booking in our reservation because we wanted to provide a child in the room and he refused on his part and we all made a problem, whereas if it was on his behalf we paid the money better, but he wanted to harass us and the problem continued throughout the trip for four days. I did not enjoy my trip because of this hotel manager.
2 - The manager wanted the child to be counted as an individual, but the management of the Booking website said that he would be counted as a child because he was not yet old.
3 - The manager forced me to change my reservation to include dinner, and the food tasted very bad
4 - On the third day, he wanted us to pay 15 pounds for the drinks, knowing that the buffet included soft drinks and coffee
5 - This manager wants to take money from anything and in any way

This hotel is the definition of perfection , the team were incredibly helpful and provide a classy service.
The hotel have super quality of service ,cleanliness , room size , the location
in a good center area with free parking in front of the hotel.
The staff there is lovely, once I confirmed my reservation I received a call from Mr. Nader welcoming and greeting me for my booking.
Nader met us in the reception for welcome and good recommendations as well as the friendly talks during our stay that made me feel that I will miss a friend when I was checking out.
We loved everything about this hotel and definitely will be returning back again.

Budget hotel with a pool. If you want cheap, it's a good place to stay. Comfortable beds . Central location. Quiet. Internet only available in reception. A great hotel to chill

Desert View is a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury. For the price it is great value. Great, central location, pleasant staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I live in a nearby town, so find it a good place to stay before or after a flight, for hospital visits, shopping trips etc.

"I had an amazing stay at Desert View Sharm Hotel! The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained, with everything I needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the desert landscape. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Be careful and stay away from this place. They cheat with prices. We arrived at night and receptionist asked us to pay 85$ per 2 nights with taxes. Even tho I clearly see on my reservation on booking that room for 2 nights costs 35$ without taxes and almost 45$ with taxes. But not 85!!!! How come taxes can be more than 100% from the price?
When I asked receptionist to provide me any information about taxes I have to pay and why the price like that, his reply was “I don’t have internet now, but the price is 100% correct ”.
I used to work on reception too and know everything about taxes on booking so hotel trying to cheat and probably doing that especially with guests who arrive at night…tired, sleepy and don’t have any other choice.
I’m super disappointed and first time in my life facing such horrible experience with hotels in Sharm el Sheikh.

Very nice hotel, quite, rooms are suitable, this place is very very nice for couple , if you would like to enjoy your time in Sharm El Sheikh, please reserve room only in Desert View Sharm Hotel and take a journey around Sharm .
