La Orozca in Benidorm

Super cheap and super basic, in central Benidorm.

If all you need is a bed and a shower, this might be for you.

Reception looks stylish, but don’t be fooled, the rooms really could do with a refresh! The bedrooms and en-suites are fairly clean, but showing signs of wear and tear. Rooms have air-con and a fridge. Unfortunately the in-room safe is chargeable.
Some rooms have a balcony, although there’s not much to sit and look at!

WiFi is excellent throughout. There’s a strange communal room with seats beside the reception desk, I wish they’d make it a more welcoming space.

You leave your key at reception when leaving and everyone is checked upon entering, so it feels safe.

Overall, for a no-frills option, it hits the spot.

Fantastic if you are on a budget. Great central location, just up from the taxi rank so ideal for solo travellers getting to and from the accommodation safely. My room 209 was huge and a large balcony with chairs. Beds were very comfortable bathroom had a shower and a bath and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Staff were very pleasant. It's basic, traditional accommodation and for £40 a night it exceeded my expectations.

Been here on another 3 occasions but all before Covid. This time I was travelling on my own. The place has recently seen some money spent on it to update it. I had a good size room considering I was alone. The shower was excellent with great pressure which included shampoo soap and a hair dryer. The location is perfect and only 10 seconds from a taxi rank which gives you access to anywhere in Benidorm when you’ve had a few and only 30 seconds into the main part of the old town. Spotlessly clean all over and the reception staff were very kind and helpful with a great knowledge of English. Even lent me a kettle (free of charge) so I can have coffee in the room in the morning. There is a fridge in the room and the temperature is nice and cold, good for storing medication drinks etc. I would definitely go back as it’s very cheap but very good and offers a lift to all floors.

Basic but clean accommodation in the centre of the old town of Benidorm.

Polite helpful staff and okay sized rooms.

The hotel is located on a main one-way street where access can be a bit confusing in a car as the access to this road says authorised vehicles only.

There is a public car park directly opposite the hotel, which is almost the only parking in the area. It's a bit costly but convenient for 24hr parking if you don't intend to move the car.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at La Orozca. What a hidden gem.
I've been visiting benidorm for many years but this was my first time staying in the old town.

Lovely little balcony, fridge in room, free air conditioning, and you can request a hairdryer free from reception.

What a great place in the old town Benidorm. Parking directly opposite €23.50 for 24 hrs safe and secure.The guys on reception were really friendly and helpful. If you want a no frills place to stay that’s spotlessly clean then look no further. Yes the rooms are basic but have a mini fridge. You get air on and tv remote on check in also a safe is available €10 deposit and €2 per day. Small tv four English channels. Free Wi-Fi also. There is a microwave down near reception you can ask for a kettle and hairdryer at reception also a small seating area behind reception with a tv.You leave your room key at reception when you go out.Great location for old town a 5 min walk downhill to beachfront. We had a room on the back overlooking an alley with Juliet balcony rooms on front have a balcony with seats overlooking the very busy road. Will definitely stay again for the right price.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Checked-in later than expected but had no issues.
Nice location in old town, only a short walk to the beach and had no issues walking to and from the main nightlife area.

Lovely little hotel with friendly English-speaking staff. Spotless rooms. Very safe. 24 hour desk staff. Less than five minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main ***** of Benidorm. Aircon in room. Toiletries and towels provided and you could ask for a hairdryer at the front desk. Small space for hanging clothes, but we were only there for a weekend so it was ample for us. No outside noise bothered us and there was a tiny balcony you could sit at. We were lucky one day to catch a festival walking by!
