Pensión La Orozca Benidorm

Basic but clean accommodation in the centre of the old town of Benidorm.

Polite helpful staff and okay sized rooms.

The hotel is located on a main one-way street where access can be a bit confusing in a car as the access to this road says authorised vehicles only.

There is a public car park directly opposite the hotel, which is almost the only parking in the area. It's a bit costly but convenient for 24hr parking if you don't intend to move the car.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at La Orozca. What a hidden gem.
I've been visiting benidorm for many years but this was my first time staying in the old town.

Spotless rooms, cleaned every day.
Lovely little balcony, fridge in room, free air conditioning, and you can request a hairdryer free from reception.
Perfect location, loved my stay, will definitely return.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Checked-in later than expected but had no issues.
Nice location in old town, only a short walk to the beach and had no issues walking to and from the main nightlife area.

I stayed last week, and enjoyed my stay. The owner is very helpful, and speaks both Spanish and English. The cleaning ladies do a great job, and although it's only a Pension, it's quiet, clean and modern. The location is also very good for access to the old town. For the price paid, compared to hotel prices, it's a bargain you can't beat.

It’s a very budget hotel, which is fine and the services are exactly what I needed. Staff can be a little disinterested when you try and ask questions but there is only ever one staff on so could be due to them being busy. It is a large hotel and due to the price I’m sure they work across multiple roles for it being a budget hotel. Or it could be a language barrier as I have a heavy accent. That being said the reception is always manned which is great. One thing I didn’t like was you have to leave your key at reception, and ask for it via room number when you return. This in itself didn’t bother me but they never checked the room details of the guest so anyone could have asked for my room and been given access. On top of that they also charge you for a safe which I think is a little disappointing regarding the situation of the key.

I brought earplugs and an eye mask and slept amazing all of the holiday. The last night a Monday evening I had an early morning transfer so I didn’t wear earplugs and i heard everything. Room slamming, people using the bathroom etc so this is something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

Location is amazing. Really close to all the local old town cafes, bars. Even have some Chinese and Japanese restaurants underneath.

Price and location are main benefits to this hotel.

Really cheap, and some of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in in Benidrom including some of the "top hotels. Can't beat it. Excellent staff, polite, helpful 24hr service. Air con, tv, safe (2euros a night and 10 deposit can't grumble at that. And you set your own pass code so no one else knows it) and fridge in room bathroom spotless and loads of hot water. If you just need a place to sleep and chill it's got everything you need 10/10 great place to use as a base and go mooching about. 24hr mini supermarket at the back too. Small balcony but enough to stand on and see what's going on around the streets.

2nd stay here. Latest stay from the 27/06- 01/07/22. Rooms are basic but clean. All rooms have a mini fridge and a/c, the bed was comfortable. The Staff are polite and accommodating. 5 minute walk to the beach and 30 seconds into the old town. For the money you really can’t go wrong 👍
