Wasn't sure what to expect as I heard it was a bit rough. Rooms were clean and comfortable, The food wasn't great but it is only a 3* Check in was a questionable experience, very long queues and takes ages to actually get checked in when you make it to the front. There are 4 lifts, 1 was broken and judging from reviews has been for a while, actually getting one is a different matter, 1 of them another guest had to pull the door open and closed. The hotel although clean is extremely dated, Pool is on top floor and is covered, there is a small jacuzzi outside, but not many sunbeds, and not enough chairs for the number of tables. You have to either buy or leave a deposit for a plastic glass to get drinks. Drinks were mostly branded which was good. Hotel is in a decent location in the old town, would we stay here again, absolutely not. But as a base for a weekend away its not too bad.

This hotel was sadly not all it said it was and did not live up to expectations, even though expectations were not high. The reception area was chaotic and our wristbands were not set up correctly for our stay, the hotel lifts were aged and slow, with one broken for our entire stay and another which you had to push the door fully open when it stopped. The website indicated it had parking for guests at a cost, when we arrived we discovered this was not the case. Everything about the hotel was tired, including the 1970s decor. Food was acceptable but nothing stood out in terms of service, style or substance. A two star hotel at best needing significant investment, but busy none the less. Positives - the room was clean, the beds comfy, the aircon in the room worked. So if you just want a base from which to experience Benidorm, then this will work for you, but a bit farty towels for us (even had Manwel at reception!) Regardless of comments above, we enjoyed the break, but will be giving this hotel a miss in the future.

A total misrepresentation of the room we booked a junior suite with balcony.. what we got was a very small room not even room for a chair in the room .the balcony was extremely small two plastic chairs jammed in together and a small plastic table.. The bathroom was hand painted over blue ceramic tiles which was peeling off in many places , and the tap water at times was dirty . We explained to reception that we had booked a junior suite etc she did offer if we came back the next day she MAY be able to offer a different room to spend two days checking in to a hotel is not acceptable, TUI description of a junior suite is totally misrepresented we had booked a junior suite at this hotel twice before with On The Beach and both times were been acceptable . The attitude of TUI when reporting our dissatisfaction to them was a simple one word sorry .. The attitude of the hotel was one of did not care ... In our opinion in the three times we have stayed there the standard of customer service and food has dropped... We also asked for a low floor room as waiting times for the lifts are very long ...we did not get a low floor room ..

The sun-drenched terrace offered a lovely space for relaxation, though the heat became intense during peak hours. A refreshing dip in the pool was often desired, but finding a free spot proved challenging. Mealtimes provided adequate sustenance for everyone. The hotel's vibrant atmosphere was filled with a diverse range of guests. A multilingual staff worked diligently to cater to everyone's needs. This spot is truly something special, the views are incredible. Getting around was a bit of a hassle with those elevator lines, though. Accessibility could definitely be improved for those with mobility issues. Still, I'd probably go back again, just maybe at a less busy time. It's worth checking out despite the elevator situation.

Don't book this hotel if you are aged below 60 years of age. This hotel is like an residential Care home. The hotel is dirty and we all came down with a sickness bug from this hotel, spending pretty much all week in bed and spoilt the whole 7 days. The staff are unfriendly and do not or choose not to speak any english. The drinks are watered down and cheap. The food and restaurant is very unappealing. The whole hotel smells like chip fat, the lifts are slow, the hotel is run down, old fashioned, feels dirty, with no atmosphere or entertainment. The pool table had no balls to even play if you wanted too. Not taken many photos .... we have been bed bound all week - this was the stunning view!! ....couldn't wait to get home!

I was so Sceptical about staying here as the reviews are not pleasant, You get what you paid for it’s a budget hotel our room was very spacious with a big window that opens quite a lot (missed having a balcony) our views were out the front facing the school the room were dated but are clean and have massive beds. A fridge for our milk and decent air con also had a tv with British channels. The pressure of the shower was good. Hairdryer was old but worked. (My friends room didn’t have working hairdryers or tvs The staff mostly are ok not the most friendliest but not ignorant, I loved the roof top defiantly the best part of the stay pool was ok but weird having a massive glass roof but the cocktails were lethal We were room only so can’t comment on food A lot of other people staying there are Spanish and I wouldn’t stay here again but I don’t think it is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

The hotel is very dark wood and outdated… was like we had gone back in time. ! When we first checked in the reception staff were quite rude, insisting on an email of our booking which we have never been asked to produce at a hotel in years. So we eventually managed to send it to them. The only good thing about this was the clever idea of your room key on your wristband. However, the room on 6 floor constantly smelt of drains, so much that we had to close the bathroom door all the time to try to keep it contained. Our balcony was so small… you could not sit out on it as would not be able to get past one another. The room itself was tiny, struggling to get past the tv without knocking it. The room was cleaned every day. The bars on level floor were very dark and dismal like being in a dungeon. The hotel was overrun with the Spanish over a certain age, which if u are ok with is fine, but it is not advertised as one. Needless to say one of the bars seemed to be their dance hall later on. The food was nothing special, was ok but decided to eat out on 2 out of 4 nights. The roof top bar with the pool was the best place to be as definitely could not stay in our room. We went with a group of friends and we will definitely not be returning.

We recently returned from a short 4 night break and I have to say we loved everything about this hotel. The hotel upon entry is very friendly and accommodating, we checked in with ease and were given all the information required such as restaurant times, snack times, bar opening, pool times and entertainment schedule. The rooms are excellent size and more than comfy enough for our family of 4 with both children in their own beds, good size bathroom etc and the room overlooking the quieter side street with the Julio Iglesias park to our right. A Good couldn’t be faulted with an excellent array of cross cuisine foods such as meats, cold foods and an ever changing secretion of fish and seafood. Self serve Beer, Wine and soft drinks in the restaurants. Kids were entertained with the machines, pool table and Air Hockey in the downstairs lounge and bar which had excellent service also. The pool and bar on the roof were an excellent addition to a brilliant hotel, somewhere to absorb the sun, have a swim, get a drink and see the sights of Benidorm. Games at 11:15 were great from children to larger adult kids. All staff excellent with a special mention to Anita. Anita is friendly and approachable, happy to answer our multiple questions about the hotel, the area and general chat when she wasn’t rushing around. Having people like this really makes staying in hotels more pleasurable. Thankyou Anita. We are now planning on returning in April for another break at the Magic Cristal Park, we enjoyed the hotel and this area of Benidorm. All in all 5 out of 5 from us.

Very old building in need of tlc,and it shows The staff are overworked in the dining area, hence the worst food ever..... Nothing for kid's besides a game room, which is 5 EUR for 2 hrs, Food gets worse with every meal. Tripe, big feet, just some of the examples. no smart TV, so literally 5 English channels. One bar with constant queues. Besides the roof bar, Only one staff member at the site. AC would constantly stop working, the window on the 3rd floor opens completely.. Very thin walls. Would not return there if you paid me. Mistake was spending Christmas there.
