Port Vista Oro in Benidorm

Jackie Harris4/523 hours ago on  Google I contacted the hotel in October to ask for a room with a walk-in shower for our December stay. My husband is disabled and cannot use a bath. I was told to ask again 2 days before our arrival, which I did. On arrival,neither of the 2 suitable rooms were available. Not only that, my husband's wheelchair couldn't get into the bathroom. I was told by Rachel, the receptionist, that she had requested a special room for us. Apart from that, we are very satisfied with the hotel. Food is excellent and the staff are very friendly; one is particularly over-friendly. The evening entertainment is fun and will suit every nationality. Public car park opposite. Best to buy a bono to save money. Tired and dated, but will be refurbished in the new year. Only one plug socket in the bedroom, so best to take an adapter for mobiles etc. Nearby activitiesOn a main street, so lots of shops to wander into. 10 min walk to beach. Food and drinksExcellent buffet for all meals. Good and varied choice of food. The hot food is hot (unusual for Spain), but there are 2 microwaves in the dining room if needed. If anything, the tables are far too close together

Great location on the edge of the Old town. All staff very friendly. Good selection of food at all meal times. Room decent with a comfortable bed. No view from the balcony in my room other than a wall, but knew this when booking. Sun-beds in shade for most of the day other than an hour or two each morning in November, but I’m sure would be fine during the main summer holiday season.

Good hotel, normal service, normal food

Nice staff, good food and clean, quiet rooms. Only didn't give 5 because the pool was in the shade and cold but it was November!

Hotel is spotless, all staff are very helpful, and friendly. Food has variety, entertainment team was very inclusive of everyone. Perfect location for shops, bars and beach.

We stayed here for 4 nights from 26th to 30th October. Ideal location just a short walk from the beautiful beach and lots of bars and restaurant in Old Town Benidorm. Room was really comfortable although very basic. Bath room was good great flushing toilet and bath with an over head shower which was lovely and hot and very powerful. Room cleaned every day with clean towel. Breakfast was amazing so much to choose from Full English, continental, delicious pastries, cereals, fruit etc etc. The down side of room was the view an orange wall But we found our Sons Portsmouth flag which we hung on balcony to make it better. Staff seemed friendly enough. Lots of Spanish in hotel but it was lovely to come back at night and see them all up dancing and enjoying themselves. They’d put the English to shame. We met a lovely lady(Mo) who is a regular at the hotel.She told us a few places to go which was nice.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgable, language was not an issue at all. Facilities are a good 3 star standard. Breakfast choice was very broad and tasty.

I would highly recommend this hotel very clean and the staff clean rooms every day we had everything we needed all the staff are so friendly and helpful beautiful view from our balcony location very very good shops , restaurants, and bars all nearby and beach is only 5-10 minute walk Will definitely be back Thank you La vista Oro

Stayed for a week. Cannot fault the staff or cleanliness of the hotel. Rooms are basic but bed is comfy. Shower really powerful. Walls are like paper. Can hear text messages, conversations, snoring etc. room cleaned every day. Room view was a wall but pool view would come with more noise as hotel on a busy road. Pool was perfect for us but can imagine quite small in season. Hotel next to a school which during term time welcomes the children every morning with music bellowing through a tannoy. This music bellows sporadically during the day. At least one class is outside at a time. Love the sound of children playing but 8 hours constantly is a little much. Great location for walking into Old Town and beach.
