Hotel Primavera Park

Beautiful hotel but female bar staff on roof extremely rude and short with several people. We were shocked at her attitude.
When l told her our big party was waiting a long time to place a drinks order she said its not her fault that she was on her own which was not true as there was a total of 4 staff here at the time. As for food with drinks she said it wasn't possible. Dirty drink glasses piling up. Will stay here again but not have a drink on this rooftop bar if this is the practice of service. 23.03.2024

Just returned from a nice week spent here. The hotel is so clean and location is great. Rooms are clean, light and spacious, and has everything you need including a safe to store valuable items. Although it was very strange not to have a kettle in the room to make your own tea etc. I asked and was told we could hire one for €4 euro per day, first I’ve ever come across this! It should be standard in every room. The tv was next to useless as we had 4 channels none of which were in English, reception mumbled something about satellite reception. Nice bathroom with very good shower. Roof area is stunning with spectacular views. Nice infinity pool which we didn’t use as we saw a few seagulls cleaning themselves and drinking from it. Now the bad points, the food, we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and my wife being gluten free thought there would be no problem after letting the hotel know this before we arrived. First day she was given a dry roll in a bag and offered cornflakes, second day she got offered croissants, one of which was mouldy as the packaging seemed to be damaged and the dry roll in a bag again. The staff did not seem to understand or care about the lack of choice. I asked the chef if he had any sin gluten items but he didn’t know what that was! Any hotel we have stayed always had a separate area with items put out for coeliac diet, this is the first we had to ask for them. I understand it maybe difficult with so many guests but if you provide a separate area with more choice then people can help themselves. The buffet items on the normal breakfast I found to be lukewarm at best with some people using the microwave to heat their’s up. I gave up on it after 2 days and stuck to toast. Also, there are 2 urns with water for tea etc but staff were adding cold water from bottles to top up meaning your tea was also lukewarm ! As mentioned above, the hotel is lovely and clean but badly let down by the food and restaurant staff.
