Hotel Agua Azul - Adults Only

Great little hotel, very friendly staff, good value for money. Food is good, rooms are clean and pleasant. Struggle with the sun around the pool this time of year due to the high rise blocks in the front of the hotel. Location is great for the old town and beach (5 min) walk to both.

Well run hotel, a five minute walk and you are in the centre of the old town.
Good rooms, great location and good service. Adults only, ( mainly 50+ age wise) which suits us. Very clean, well kept and well maintained.

Located near the old town, hotel Agua Azul is great for couples looking for an adults only all inclusive hotel. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the beach and local shopping areas.

The hotel reception staff were very polite & helpful.

The rooms are spacious and air conditioned with a balcony. The amenities in the room were very good.

The restaurant had a good selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was plenty to choose from including some spanish dishes and a live cooking station.

The snack bar was open from 11am and offered some great food options like burgers, toasted sandwiches and pizzas.

The entertainment manager 'Paula' was fantastic and arranged some great activities during the daytime and performances at night.

The bar had a good selection of drinks however some higher end spirits and cocktails had a small surcharge. The staff on the bar were sometimes a little abrupt / rude at times which was a little disappointing.

The major disappointment at the hotel was the 8am queue for the sunbeds in the downstairs bar area.

As soon as the pool was opened there was a rush to reserve sunbeds using towels. As soon as the towels were placed they all went in for breakfast and didn't come out to the sunbeds for a good hour or two which was VERY annoying as there were notices around the pool saying that sunbeds could not be reserved and abandoned towels would be removed...

There were not enough sunbeds around the pool for the amount of guests so it was a problem...

Overall, our experience was very good and I would consider returning to the hotel again due to it's location.

We visited at the begining of June. It was a great hotel. Lovely food and drink. Wonderful staff. Nice clean room. Our balcony was over looking the pool. It was a 2 minute walk to the shops bars and restaurants. And 5 minutes to the beach. We are booking it again for next year. Thank you Hotel Aqua Azul team for this wonderful holiday

Just had 4 days with friends at this nice hotel , overall can’t really fault , staff very helpful, polite ( apart from some chap behind the bar that wernt happy at all when we came back in at 11.45pm but still had a few mins to spare , now he was rude to say the least !! Food a good variety , 1 of our party I dont think liked the mussels & prawns !! Only really things that might make a bit more sense 1, glass partitions in bedroom, I get it that it saves water splashes but not when everybodys other half crashes into it at 2.00am 2, have a coffee machine or 2 in the bar area so that the person at the front of the all inclusive Que don’t have to ask for 4 ordinary coffees and everyone else has to wait 3 hrs for a beer !! Overall a very nice few days , apart from 1 woman who was staying there that seemed to be worse for wear with her alcoholic other mates that wanted to just laugh and scream All week and the entertainment couldn’t be heard

Just returned from second time at this great hotel. Didn't disappoint, lovely food Spanish style and some old English classics thrown in, drinks and cocktails spot on, all proper brands and all served with a smile especially Ollie! Cannot fault it from Pilar at check in , to early breakfast arrangements for our departure day. Entertainment was a little hit and miss, but all included in the price. Will definitely be back!!

I'm here now and got to say I can't fault this hotel from staff who were all amazing to food drinks location cleanliness all superb this is definitely a hidden gem been to flash port benidorm this hotel tops them both will be back again in near future for sure

On our arrival Pilar checked us in, what a beautiful friendly lady, made us so welcome and explained what we needed to know. The wristbands impressed us as it had a chip in it which unlocked your room door when you put it against the handle, so no room key or card to think about, brill idea. Room was immaculate, we had a city view, the view was ok tbh, you dont get the sun until late afternoon, but it worked for us as we used to have a stroll and when we got back, relaxed on the balcony before showering ready for the evening. Always hot water available, nice walk in shower with 2 shower heads, pump gel and shampoo on the wall ready to use. We only made breakfast a couple of times, but enjoyed what was there. Lunch and evening meal was all cooked to perfection, not a massive choice, but something for everyones tastes. Plus the kitchen staff was always making sure food was stocked up and wiping down any spills that had been made. Tables cleared as soon you had finished. Great bar staff, was always smiling and up for a banter. Entertainment was a little hit n miss, we enjoyed a few acts though and a quiz or two. We was all inclusive so all our drinks was also included, most spirits was branded which you dont normally get. We only booked this holiday a month before, i had never heard of the hotel, but we wanted to be in more of the old town so this was ideal. Im not keen on huge hotels and this seemed perfect. I honestly cant fault this hotel and the lovely friendly staff. We will definately be back for another stay X
