The hotel's location in the Old Town is perfect and it's only a minute's walk from the beach. The hotel is very clean and it always smells really fresh too. Our room was spacious and the shower was a nice size. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. With regards to food, the selection at breakfast was good. A good choice of Continental breakfast (ham, cheese, jam, bread rolls, toast), as well as biscuits and pastries. There was also cooked UK style breakfast as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc. There's a lovely roof top/terrace with a pool. This wasn't fully in use because we were there in December. However, you could still sit in the sun and see the beautiful views. I would definitely go back to the Voramar!

First time in the Volamar, and it was good. We booked the junior suite, ended up in room 108, and we changed rooms. It was bang across from Vincent’s pub and you could hear anything and everything from there. Got moved to room 202, which was a basic room but we had a partial sea view, was still noisy but a dream compared to the first room, nice size room, with a massive, comfy bed. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you, and they all went above and beyond, we went with Tui and their rep, Tricia was fantastic helping us move rooms and with plenty of recommendations. We went full-board, the food options were a bit limited, not a vast choice, but generally always something, quality of the food was good. Hotel bar was great, good drinks menu, very reasonably priced, and with some great turns on spent a good few nights in there. We went for the new year celebrations and oh my word! The party started at 6pm, canopies and welcome drink in the bar, 7pm in the canteen to a booked table, and then a 9 course meal, and every course was pretty much a full plate, far too much food, we sent a few of them away untouched as it was too much, and left at about the 8th plate, and every time your wine glass was half empty it got refilled, it was obscene, was a fantastic night but far too much food and drink! Would probably stay again with a cheap enough deal, but it being where it is meant it was quite noisy, and definitely don’t opt for the junior suites as they all face the same pub and it’s very noisy.

Hotel is lovely, staff are friendly and it is in a great location. Our room is big and very clean but the food is the worst we have ever had! Very little choice and always cold. I can honestly say I've never been offered either chicken nuggets or bacon soaked in garlic butter at breakfast before! Thankfully there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Room was clean but quite noisy (looked onto the street) Tea tray could have done with topping up daily. The only thing I really wasn’t happy with was the fact that as a vegan there wasn’t anything for me to eat apart from vegetables and salad but even that was limited. I did appreciate the oat milk though. I asked the chef if he would mind cooking me something and was told ‘No!’ Apart from this the staff were all lovely.

Great food staff and entertainment soooo good 3 different acts on every night!! Would definitely recommend as also great location at Dove island and Vincent's on corner

First time at this hotel food very good choice lovley pool bar and pool the hotel has entertainment on every night no need to go out waiters r a good laugh. Rooms are very spacious and clean try it for yourself??

Would rate this as a 3 star.Reception and bar staff lovely.Food wasn't bad but not a great deal of variety or choice.Pool small,not enough sunbeds,and no lifeguard.No welcome meeting from TUI ,so no information given Very clean.Reported phone not working on the 1st day,but never sorted

Stayed here with my husband, room was lovely, clean and spacious. Rooftop pool was really nice and good views of the bay. I wasn’t stuck on the breakfast so we only went once but that’s just a personal opinion, there was a lot of choice but I found better breakfast elsewhere Staff were polite and welcoming. Location is perfect for the old town with everything on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again.
