Hotel Teremar

Well the hotel is situated in a good location the restaurant staff not very friendly is a local hotel, only one socket in the room !!! Reception staff so helpful but needs updating

My parents and myself had booked this hotel for a short break therefore only using the hotel for little snacks, freshening up, and sleeping. The rooms are average but clean, there is nothing too eye-catching but it is okay for a short holiday. There were three single beds with bedside tables beside them, a few wooden chairs, a wardrobe with a safe in it, a desk with a rather small tv on it, a balcony, and a bathroom with a basic toilet and shower. However, the shortage of plug sockets was disappointing so if you are a large group/ family etc I would recommend taking an extension lead or numerous power banks for your devices. Also, if you already find it difficult to sleep I would take ear plugs with you when you go as the walls are quite thin and I was able to hear conversations from outside of the room. The food is again average and of course continental, so if you would like an English breakfast in the morning I advise you to look on the internet for places to eat before you arrive at the hotel to be prepared. The eating area and reception area is extremely clean and looked after, and the air conditioning is perfect. The staff I had spoken to were Spanish but can speak English fairly well and are extremely friendly. Overall, we had a decent experience at the Hotel Teremar and it was the experience me and my family were expecting from a hotel with a 2-star rating.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May/June. The room itself was of a very good standard for the rating. The bathroom was excellent as it was nicely tiled with a good hot shower. Unfortunately, there are two things that let the hotel down. Firstly, there are only a few sunlounger available that are in he morning sun. I would have expected more as they could be accommodated if the pool layout was changed around. These sunlounger don not have any parasols so not much use if you want to relax in the shade. Your only other option is to sit in a plastic chair so it's not really relaxing. Secondly, the walls between the rooms are extremely thin and you can hear everything. We found that out when the other guests came back at 4am and I could have joined in their conversation! It was so bad, I couldn't get yo sleep dud to their snoring! You wouldn't want to stay here with children if you had 'noisey' neighbours...... On reflection, the hotel is value for money if you're on a budget. It was clean, tidy and friendly but if returning to Benidorm, I'd look at what alternatives were available.

Hotel was very clean both in rooms and public area's, most of the staff were friendly and helpful, however the dining room, although very clean was let down by the sub standard food and lack of choice,ate out on several occasions. Really don't think I would make a return visit.
