Amazing for children. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The pool areas are clean. Can not fault anything. The bar, restaurant and reception staff are very friendly. Have 6 or more lifts. Will def come back.

Room was spotless and maid service every day including fresh towels each day, even had my pj’s folded every day! Food in the very clean restaurant was varied and has something for everyone

Waiting staff at the restaurant bring drinks at the evening meal. All staff are polite and courteous and respectful. Bar staff in the evenings are friendly and polite. A**** to this hotel and staff

There's a great variety of food available at all times, and the outdoor food truck is perfect for grabbing a quick snack. Highly recommended for a stress-free and enjoyable holiday!

The family rooms are very nice, the buffet is good and the location of the hotel is good, you can walk straight to the beach

We opted for the All Inclusive package and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The bar and reception staff were exceptionally attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay

Lovely hotel in a great location. Bars and shops are next door and the beach is just a five minute walk away. I love the decor of this hotel - the mood lighting is very relaxing. I stayed on a full board basis

Good points: Clean and resort-like hotel room, 5-minute walk to the ocean, trendy bathroom, free use of auxiliary facilities (table tennis, swimming pool), breakfast/dinner included, but there was a lot of food, so I was satisfied

This is, quite simply, a wonderful hotel which is professionally run with excellent staff. If you love food, then you must stay here

I adore fish and seafood and in 4 days of lunch and dinner, I have eaten sea bream, sea bass, John Dory, plaice, cod orly, flounder, big fat mussels and whole prawns

Wonderful chefs and hard working attentive restaurant staff make this a supremely satisfying culinary experience

Shampoo and body wash are provided, and there is a terrace, so it is good to sit there and relax

Always seemed plenty of room round the pool and plenty of sunbeds

Definitely not the holiday or hotel we were expecting. The pool area at the main bar is dirty. Reception gives everyone one token each for a drink which you get back when you return your cup

The pool area was nice and picturesque. The breakfast was terrible would not recommend- book hotel only

Food wasn't as bad as some of the reviews depending on what you like. The fresh fruit available was nice. The chef did his best to keep the food fresh, and if asked, he would accommodate where he could

But you must go to the new burrito shop on Av. Del Mediterraneo the guy's in there are brilliant, friendly, and chatty and make you feel like a friend. The burritos are definitely tasty and made fresh

We went to the beach as we were not queuing for loungers …. One day pool opened at 9 am … beach was lovely. Please clean up outside the front entrance of the hotel … it pulls it down

A lovely long weekend !! The staff were really friendly and professional. The room was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed half board and the food was excellent, with a large variety to suit all tastes

Food ok something there you could eat everyday choice reasonable for time of year. Did not get to see any acts in hotel but day time activities were ok only did 1 day as we were out all the time

We staid in Rio park for a week 18-2/25 till25/2/25 and it was great value for the money. Room was spotless and fresh towels every day , bed changed every 2nd or 3rd day

Been here five days and five to go. Staying on the fifth floor and no complaints up to now. Breakfast is one of the best we have had at other hotels in Benidorm and the evening meals are just as good

Free access to the lounge, beers, wines, spirts all named brands, snacks 11-9pm. Heated pools, loads of seating. Breakfast nice, not full English, more continental /British

I was here with my son on a 4 night golf trip, I have played the courses before but never stayed at the hotel, would I stay again at the hotel? You bet I would, the facilities, the pools, the rooms, everything about this place is fantastic, I wish we had booked longer

Uncredible experience! Me and my fiance stayed at the level at Melia villa itana, and I can almost promise we Will be returning guests! The area is incredible calm, even when the hotel had 92% full we felt almost alone in the arena

Another point, ignore the stupid queue at breakfast with one girl taking room numbers and showing people to a table, you will queue for half and hour, in the end I just went in, pretty sure people can find there own table

Evrything was clean and food was very good! Staf from the hotel was very helpful (specially Ancuta) she made sure we didnt missed out on anything and was very informative, personal, friendly and professional

A lovely hotel set just outside the hustle and bustle of Benidorm. Designed to look like a Spanish town square, you'd never really think you were in a hotel. Rooms are perfectly fine, very spacious and comfortable

The hotel although clean is extremely dated, Pool is on top floor and is covered, there is a small jacuzzi outside, but not many sunbeds, and not enough chairs for the number of tables

Great clean hotel really enjoyed my stay there roof top sunbathing pool clean bar great. Liana was fantastic highly recommend holiday food was plenty to choose from. Pull your own ice cream kids loved me too

The sun-drenched terrace offered a lovely space for relaxation, though the heat became intense during peak hours. A refreshing dip in the pool was often desired, but finding a free spot proved challenging

I was so Sceptical about staying here as the reviews are not pleasant, You get what you paid for it’s a budget hotel our room was very spacious with a big window that opens quite a lot (missed having a balcony) our views were out the front facing the school the room were dated but are clean and have massive beds

A fridge for our milk and decent air con also had a tv with British channels. The pressure of the shower was good. Hairdryer was old but worked

This spot is truly something special, the views are incredible. Getting around was a bit of a hassle with those elevator lines, though. Accessibility could definitely be improved for those with mobility issues

Staff are friendly and always smile food is excellent and with a lot of choice. Rooms cleaned every day by friendly staff. Lovely hotel we will be using the Poseidon again

Nice hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Could do with up grading but ample for a weekend break. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here as part of a large group of Brits celebrating a birthday. It was perfect for what we needed. The location is excellent for getting to the Old Town, The New Town and The Beach

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers were especially nice. We enjoyed spending time around the nice pool with reasonably priced drinks from the bar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Very clean Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are lovely with everything you need. Mini fridge, safe , hair dryer , shampoo , shower gel. 10 minute walk to the main strip. Fabulous , clean pool areas

I'm not sure how the Spanish guests felt about having us around though. They didn't seem to want to engage much and often seemed a bit grumpy. I guess this might be a cultural thing

The location of the hotel is fantastic nearby shops, beach and market, the hotel itself is clean (apart from toilets in public areas there’s a constant smell), pool area is a fabulous size and we never struggled for a sunbed, good range of cocktails and drinks to be had

The pool area was good with plenty of beds despite people queuing then stampeding at stupid o'clock for the best spots. We would watch them every morning from our balcony at how stupid they all looked

The room was clean and spacious , we were round the back of the hotel I requested a low floor and we were on the 6th floor which I was happy with having a young son , there were building works going on for the hospital extension which you wouldn’t know was going off The noise was non existent in my opinion I will be going back for definite The pool was massive and it was crowded at times but we went...

The main concern being the food although it was good one one or two nights it’s pretty much the same options for lunch + dinner both always have some unseasoned roast meat and gravy with about 3 potato options, there’s also a man grilling meat this changes daily with the type of meat but is always unseasoned and oily

Things to be aware of: -The pool water is very cold, especially the rooftop pool (which felt more like a plunge pool). Even the sea was warmer! It looked great, but hard to enjoy for long swims

Perfectly clean, stylish and comfortable rooms (stayed in both premium and penthouse rooms) Wonderful pool areas, great bars, decent and reasonably priced food. To top it all over an absolutely fantastic location

-The pool area is lovely and never too busy, with plenty of loungers. -The junior deluxe suite was spacious, well laid out, and had a big balcony with a great view

-Toilets around the hotel and pool areas were always plentiful and spotless. -Staff were outstanding – friendly, kind, and a real credit to the hotel

Officially (according to us) the only hotel to stay at in Beni! 4 visits so far, at various times of the year for birthday celebrations, Christmas and Summer holidays

-Not many children around – it’s not really a “family hotel,” which I didn’t realise beforehand. Overall: It’s a fantastic hotel – stylish, comfortable, and with excellent staff

The food was best we have had in Benidorm. Had a disabled room which was nice but disappointed disabled people have no access to get in to the pool or up to the top level where most of the sun is in the winter

The swimming pool is very nice and there is enough sunbeds for the guests, if a little crowded. All in all, a friendly hotel and would recommend for a short stay perhaps

Friendly staff, always helpful in seating us in the restaurant. Very efficient in the reception with checking in & out. Requested rooms close to our parents as we were travelling together

This hotel is ideally situated for the surrounding entertainment in the evening and for the beach during the day. The food is of an acceptable standard and the rooms are quite comfortable albeit a little basic

Excellent hotel. Head waiter is brilliant with everyone in the restaurant. We have known him for a long time top man. I would tell anyone who was going to book this hotel they should have a excellent holiday here.

I was also pleased with the chairs on the balcony: not like in many other hotels - wicker or plastic, like in street cafes, and always dusty - here they are comfortable, like armchairs (the seat and back are curved for comfort) and they are wiped when cleaning the room

Conveniently located (beach nearby, bus stop nearby, several supermarkets nearby). But the price is too high, although hotels on the first line are even more expensive

When booking through the hotel website, they give bonuses, for example, free use of the safe, free transfer from/to Alicante airport (both ways), a free glass of something in the bar (of your choice), free 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator

A very good hotel, a solid “four”. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are in good condition (plumbing, bedding, and furniture). The size and layout of the rooms are typical of Spanish resort hotels

The staff is appropriate - polite and ready to help with any questions. The restaurant serves delicious and varied food; there are themed dinners (Italian, Asian cuisine)

And the view from the balcony is excellent, at least above the 10th floor. I was here for almost 3 weeks in August and was very pleased

Awesome rooms nice stuff but we had a slight problem: In the middle of the night (around 00:00)the fire alarm went off without a reason but the rest is awesome.Its a nice addition of having 2 free tickets!

The hotel staff is incredible, always helpful and attentive. The hotel is a bit old, but it's very nice. The gym, the pool, the facilities, and its location near the beach make it very attractive

There was also food available throughout the day with the snack bar (in the dining room) available outside meal times. The waitresses were brilliant with the children and kitchen staff were always refilling the food

There was also entertainment throughout the day however we never did any of these. The food was better than we had expected based on reviews and there was a theme (Mexican, Chinese, USA etc) every dinnertime

You can easily be there within 10/15 min! The hotel has two nice pools (one for adults and one for children) and one indoor pool which I think it was closed as the weather was gorgeous so no need to stay indoors! The hotel serves food throughout the day (if you opt for the all inclusive package) and the lunch and dinner menu would vary

We requested 2 of the rooms be next to each other before our arrival and this was met, these two did not have the best view however the third room had a lovely view of the pool

If there’s one thing I love the most is money well spent. We’ve decided to escape the bad weather in the UK (even though it’s summer) and we bought this all inclusive package for 7 days

There are two pool areas and they are absolutely fine. The stuff was not really friendly especially at the main reception

came hear for a week all 11 of us the place is fantastic. The zoo we loved and went about 5 times. The pools were fab very cold but once your in your fine and im a baby with cold water

The lodges were really clean but only downside was the walls were mega thin and the people next door was having a massive argument and then the next night they had hangover and heard them being sick and really upset my daughter but the next lot were really quite

All the staff were lovely and polite,they were all constantly cleaning even washed down the floors outside, the food was lovely and a massive selection of food

Cleaning the room was just superficial which is not okay if you stay a whole week and 2 days they forgot our room completely. But the women who were cleaning the rooms were super super friendly and polite

The wifi you have to renew every four hours which is a bit annoying and quite often it is not working properly (it is annoying when you need to work a little). The app was not working properly as well

Hats off to the entertainment staff, to the kids zone Sandra and Evelyn and to the amazing kitchen/restaurant staff David and Jose David who always provide us our high chair every meal and for being so kind to us especially to our toddlers

Great Hotel in the right location near the beach. Reviews don't do this place justice. Great for families, loads of entertainment and good pools with slides. Food is good always fresh and plenty of choice

At first, we were skeptical to book the hotel after reading bad reviews. Good thing we did go with our guts and booked it anyway. Our stay had been amazing especially for our children

We had a balcony with amazing view of the beach and skycrapers. The hotel was clean and all the staff were approachable and amazing

We also felt bad for the magician for the magic show as he was amazing but some families had to leave middle of the show because it was already near midnight. Way too late for children and parents

We can still hear it even if our room was at the front of the hotel

Just returned from a stay at the Diplomatic Hotel, Really nice hotel and food and very clean, just be careful if you staying in the back as there is a hotel opposite that has a loud air con unit going all night which keeps you awake

All the staff were very nice and helpful, would definitely stay there again, Nice central location

I was saddened that there were not enough people around to watch the hotel evening entertainment, we could see the local singers from our ground floor terrace which was lovely and they were great but I noticed the lack of an audience which felt like a real shame, this was not what we chose the hotel for but I did notice an evening entertainment program also

Perhaps the absolute best thing about this hotel for me was the electric shutter on the bedroom window, being someone with paper thin eyelids and when we are in Benidorm out until the early hours I have never had such great sleep, it made the world of difference to me

The location was exactly where we wanted to be in between the old and new town and a stroll along the front for live music as far up as the tiki bar. At night it was quiet and the beds were comfortable

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, we never were never up or only just in so missed the breakfast offering

6 of us stayed for 5 nights ideally situated for old town and lots of restaurants and bars and if you can stomach it the complete cesspit which is the new town is not too far away

Scenic lift is a no elty and the bar with the terrace on 20th floor is wow. Very Spanish hotel guests and staff all very happy polite and helpful

The marina is bang in the middle of the strip in Benidorm. There is music around the pool every single day. There are plenty of eating places and plenty of bars nearby and you are literally 3 mins from the beach front

We were a huge group of 24. Hotel was great, really accommodating. Highly recommend doing the pool party, you get discount for being a guest when you book. 100% would stay again.

Positioned perfectly for the lively nightlife. The location is noisy into the early hours but you can't have one without the other. Food I found to be of very good quality

A massive selection of foods for breakfast and evening meals I loved all the food and choice on offer. Poolside lovely and clean, it gets cleaned everyday

Big shout out to Jhony Edison and Ozzy the poolside waiters, they are all so helpful, go above and beyond to accommodate you and make you feel welcome

The free WIFI is pretty good within the building, its a bit hit and miss on the roof terrace but overall its a big thumbs up ☝ The bonus is a second seating area for meals that is a calm environment to enjoy your meal

Went up to the roof terrace, well the views are spectacular, there are plenty of sunloungers and also a splash pool with play equipment for the 3 to 7 year olds

Unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to use the indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi or gym because having so many other things to do

Its definitely not a high end place with rips on the sofa and rusty bars on the windows, but the room is clean and comfy and it is just 2 minutes from the beach

Good was good and staff very friendly, the hotel is a bit dated but the location is very good only 2 mins walk to a beautiful beach

Clean, tidy, excellent staff, beautiful pool area and excellent restaurant and bar. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends. In walking distance to all shops, restaurants, beach etc

Only negative was getting a sunbed was impossible even with signs saying towels would be removed the beds where still reserved early so went to the beach everyday

Good but not great Hotel very nice, reception staff excellent. Bed and pillow not very comfortable. Food - breakfast fine but evening meal not great. Public areas in hotel very nice as are the gardens round the pool.

The hotel was nice in the reception and food areas and located on a quiet street just 5 mins from the beach. Carpets in communal areas were stained and old. I was on floor 6 and they were terrible

The pool area is nice but plants over grown and next to no sun most of the day on 90% of the beds. Our view was that this wasn’t aimed at the English at all, and we felt the staff didn’t really like the English

What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the service—every staff member was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make our stay perfect
