NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding

Upon entering the room you'll notice that the room is bright and airy.  There is wooden floors throughout with a large circular rug.  The entry area has an extra door from the main room to provide more sound barrier. Unfortunately mine would not stay closed.

My room was located on the 8th floor near the end of the hallway. I was given two twin beds but the room is very large and not cramped at all. There is a large sitting chair, a sizable desk, a mini fridge with mini bar, and safe. There was a kettle and coffee maker! Many sizes and types of cups as well as a wide assortments of teas and coffees. There is some previous water damage on my ceiling that has been repaired.

Each twin bed had three pillows and there is a decent size TV for the room. There is an outlet next to one of the beds (after multiple attempts I was unsuccessful in getting it to work).
There is a blind separating the bathroom from the bedroom that would not close at least to viewing. It would lift up and down but would not close.
There is a heated towel bar, iron and ironing board which is a very rare find and several hangers. There were no slippers or robe to be found.
The windows could be opened - except for the side that open was partially blocked and I don't know if that was specific to my room or a feature of the hotel.

Not especially close to any subway transit but just a 10 minute walk.

I'd say my stay was pretty good except for when it came to dealing with the reception downstairs! I was told I had to call the next morning to ask for an extended late stay. On Sundays they have lazy morning till 3:00 p.m. but I just need to extend for about 30 minutes.

I called down the next morning and the lady put me on hold 3 times and was finally put on hold for 2 and 1/2 minutes.  I finally hung up from her and called again and spoke to a gentleman and he was able to answer my request immediately and say an extra 30 minutes would not be a problem at all.  However she called me back a few minutes later after I got my confirmation and told me I would need to come downstairs again to make the request in person to which I informed her I already spoke to someone else and he said it was fine.  So reception needs a lot of work.

If I was staying in the area I would possibly book again but would depend on reception and how I was treated.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. They made the effort with little touches like a drink at the bar and chocolates and water in the room. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing. A special mention to Saira (who makes the eggs at breakfast) - what a star!

Breakfast was unbelievable! The variety, quality and presentation are unmatched. The service staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, specifically, the layout and space made it luxurious. I would come here again, without question. 💪🏼

Personal touch from the staff here is out of the space - we are feeling very welcome. We got such a big surprise while returning to our room after a city walk - such a warm and sweet gesture🤍🤍🤍 celebrating our reason of the stay🥳🥳🥳

A very good service was provided by this hotel. The rooms were very neat and modern as well as the rest of the hotel’s facilities. The location is excellent for travelers in Madrid

At first from outside uninspiring. Upon entry it all surprises pleasantly. Executive lounge first class. Executive breakfast, best breakfast ever. Hotel room flawless. Very seldom I can say that. Thank you to staff and management
