My stay at this Madrid hotel was exceptional, earning a well-deserved 5 stars! Housed in a unique, historic building, the hotel has been impeccably remodeled, blending old-world charm with modern elegance. The design is stunning—bright, stylish, and thoughtfully curated, creating a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed, with a fantastic bathroom featuring a luxurious bathtub that was a highlight after a day of exploring. The breakfast was top-notch, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to every taste. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from check-in to checkout. Perfectly located for exploring Madrid’s sights, this hotel is a gem that combines history, comfort, and style. Highly recommend for an unforgettable stay!

For the first time in Madrid I have to say this boutique hotel is a great place to stay. Beautiful building and the staff were extremely professional and accommodating per our requests. We had an issue with the booking due to our own error from a third party and they honored everything in advance so the stay was seemless and kept there word. The staff were so nice and offered info about the area of things to do and see! The rates seemed like a reasonable price for what all you get for staying for two nights. There were also nice amenities like espresso and tea in the room to enjoy. And the front staff offered a welcome gift of little chocolates and bottle of wine and water to the room was a nice thoughtful touch. The room was modern with classic touches keeping today's standards in old world architecture of a building. They did a great job of the mix of use for space!!! The rooms have private bathroom areas but it's only separate with a glass wall and door so be mindful if traveling with friends yet still private enough for a couple. Bed was comfortable. I feel the room should have had complimentary drinks like soda and water and if you wanted to pay extra you could have the alcoholic ones. But they will charge for any of them if you use them. The fridge didn't seem to have a scale in it so we were at least able to slide the ones over and keep our own chilled. The electricity is card activated like the door card to help be environmentally friendly as well as the toiletries are eco friendly.

Amazing location directly at the Puerta de Alcalá next to posh restaurants like Aardor, Ramses or Capuccino, where beautiful people like to sit and be seen. There is always something going on around there.

Even though it is a 5 star hotel, the setting and decorations and finishes are not of the quality of others in a similar price category like Bless, Meliá Palacio de Los Duques or Principal. Also the service at reception and the breakfast room is not that of a 5 star hotel.

Breakfast was very plain offer, also on the warm dishes nothing fancy like in the other mentioned hotels, with an extensive breakfast menu.

The room was separated into two floors, so had to bring the luggage upstairs through a small staircase. This is not ideal, in my view.

Some positives: The bed was very comfortable and aircon worked properly, very important for the hot summer days and the room had all amenities you might need in the bathroom with nice bathrobes.

Room is big and clean. Pillows are difficult to support my head & neck.
Breakfast menu is average not impressed.
Dinner for half-board is limited. Restaurant manage Mr Wong helps to get better selection the second day. He is super busy and friendly.
Location is great. Near two landmarks.
From airport to hotel: 5 euro by bus (crowded), Uber overcharged me by 20 euro (price on the app is not the same as final cost). Please be careful. Taxi fee is ~33 euro fixed cost.

The entire hotel staff were very helpful, very friendly, very congenial, and very knowledgeable, I would especially thank Manuel, Daniel, and Ilia for their enthusiasm and assistance with anything we needed or wanted. Also, the ladies who waited on us for breakfast were outstanding. Everyone was fantastic.

Beautiful, recently renovated, friendly and helpful hotel. Would suit party people. Only problem was loud noise from club until 2:00am. Otherwise perfect: comfortable bed, helpful concierge, warm welcome.

We loved the Hotel!!! Beautifully decorated , rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are really big . We stayed in room # 400 , corner room very quiet with an inner courtyard view.
What a nice staff , we’re so pleased with the service and hospitality of all . Fernando at the front desk is an amazing person . Thank you for e urging and for making our anniversary #35 a memorable one in beautiful Madrid . Breakfast was very good and conveniently located inside the hotel . The outside terraza is BEAUTIFUL and view of La Puerta de Alcalá is stunning !
The only down side of the hotel, is missing a lounge bar with nice confortable couches where you can enjoy a drink inside the property . If you want a drink you need to sit outside (it was very cold when we stay at the hotel ) . I’m pretty sure that on warmer days will be nice !
