This small, boutique luxury hotel is quaint and centrally located. The staff are very helpful. There's a nice (for Europe) daily breakfast. Complimentary umbrellas are available during rains. Rooms have a wonderful blend of traditional furnishings with modern features. Full gym. You must return your physical room key when you leave the hotel to go out. They still have physical keys. I didn't like having to give my room number out each time I returned so I made sure there were no other people within earshot.

So under-rated its a hidden gem, just a stone throw away from Retiro Park. A 15 mins liesure walk to Atocha Station and 20 to 25mins walk to Zara and Mango Shops and Corte Ingles plus museums. Less crowded area compared to staying at Gran Via or places near Purta del Sol

The best thing of this hotel it’s the location, just opposite to one of the most beautiful parks in the world Parque del Retiro, the hotel is nice but not luxurious, the spa area is depressing, there is no valet to help you with your luggage and quality of towels and bed linen should be better for the price they charge.
Breakfast is nice, the female staff are more friendly and efficient than the male employees in the restaurant.

@nd time staying in Madrid; this was a wonderful hotel with a top location across from the park and near many fine restaurants. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We were upgraded to a former residence room which was absolutely magnificent. Will definitely stay here again!

We have just been for lunch and went for the menu. The Carrilleras were cold. The menu is quite simple and substandard for the price it has.
The place is beautiful and Service was good, especially the Argentinian waiter. After our lunch, we went to the bar and no one was there to attend to us. All in all the experience has been quite bad.

Obsessed with this hotel. It was absolutely stunning. The staff provided amazing service, very impressed with how quick and hospitable everyone was, also gave us great recommendations and booked a fun tuktuk tour for us. We had 4 rooms, and each of the rooms were nicer than the other. Some were small, while others were breathtaking. We didn’t dine at the hotel, due to the timing, but we did order room service and the pizza was delicious. I love the history and the story this hotel tells. If you appreciate art and details, this is your place to stay in Madrid. It’s a good location, close to a lot of shopping and dining options, and of course safe. I will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to Madrid.

The room was small and dark and absolutely not worth over $600 per night. Our wi Dow looked out o to a wall. Bathrooms offer little privacy and I didn’t find the staff friendly at all. Got a glass of wine at the bar and it was bad. Physical keys are outdated and difficult to work with. Not a fan.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very disappointed. For 600 euros a night, my room felt like a hostel. As a Gold Elite member, I only got a single Lindt chocolate truffle as a welcome gift, plenty of loud noise from tge road.
The hotel is small with a tiny elevator, a small bar area, and no lounge. stayed The staff was friendly, but they didn’t explain any of the amenities.
The location isn't great either. You need a taxi or public transport to get to the main areas of Madrid. This was one of the worst Autograph Collection hotels I’ve ever at. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The most outstanding service. The staff at this hotel is willing to cater to any of your needs to ensure you have an exceptional stay. I was blown away by the quality of service we received. When I was checking in, I notified the staff that I needed to leave early so I wasn’t going to be able to indulge in the platinum elite breakfast that the property offers. They told me they would have the chef come in early to prepare me and my brother a breakfast picnic for our travels. Beyond the service, this hotel provides the perfect blend of classic with modern touches. One of the most beautiful boutique Autograph properties that I’ve been to so far. The hotel itself feels like a luxurious castle when you walk inside and the lobby is jaw dropping. The rooms feel spacious and very very clean.

Beautiful hotel with excellent formal breakfast in Madrid. Walking distance to great restaurants and people watching. Historic. Friendly and helpful staff. Incredible park across the street with gorgeous gardens and walking baths.
