Where to stay with kids in Ixia

We had nothing but the best experience at this resort. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and the place was clean and organized. They let us check in early and upgraded us to a nicer room

I liked it. Liked the entertainment team They all sweet, all the show’s were good the food was good. I will come next year with my family if the same team is there

The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. And the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay

Hotel is clean a lot if food options especially if you are a fussy eater like me. The entertainment make the hotel more enjoyable where you can easily just stay in the resort all day and night

The room was OK, albeit maybe in need of redecoration. Directly underneath flight path. However, we knew this prior to booking wasn't overly intrusive once accustomed

The room itself was quite big and very clean with bathroom being very spacious. Daily housekeeping also meant we came back from a whole day on the beach to clean towels and new bathroom essentials

You are also able to bring your drinks from the bar and snacks from the snack bar and enjoy them on the beach (Thea from the bar makes the best iced coffee by the way ❤️) There is always plenty of food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the snack bar served delicious Greek gyros and hot dogs

We also had a lovely view from our hotel room as we booked the sea view room. It was very special waking up every morning and seeing the beautiful sea

The hotel has excellent facilities, we particularly loved the private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas which was on the doorstep from the hotel

The beach was perfect- quiet and clean and sun loungers were nicely separated rather than all being cramped together

The entire staff were all extremely friendly and made our stay extremely enjoyable

But prefect hotel food was great plenty option and got upgraded to a swim up pool room for free. Staff are friendly and excellent service

The balcony sea view was stunning! The reservation of pool sun beds was a bit of an issue and we witnessed a few disputes so used the beach instead

Beautiful resort everything was perfect. Only thing I didn't like is they didn't offer an iron you had to pay for ironing service

Had a fab week at Helena, first time to Greece. Beautiful resort with stunning trees and plants. Normally head to the Canaries in October but as they are anti tourist now decided to try Rhodes

The hotel was very busy at times and the staff were a bit stretched on occasion. The onsite water park was a big hit!! 15-20 minute taxi ride to old town so taxi fares can rack up

They don’t have a problem with tourists and welcome you with open arms. The rooms were a tad tight for 3 but it was too expensive to upgrade

Great location. Private beach. 4 pools, water slides for the kids. WONDERFUL staff. Good food. Frequent busses to the city. It's all we wanted and more. If we go to Rhodos again we will absolutely go back here.

An amazing hotel with a chilled out vibe and an extensive list of all inclusive food and drinks and staff that go above and beyond

Great hotel, excellent choice of foods, drinks, restaurants. Kids will love the slide pool, as will parents who can sun bathe whilst keeping an eye on them in the not too deep water

My only criticism was the main large pool was salt water, which I really don't like but I got used to this after a few days

Hotel is right on the beach so easy access to water sports and sun beds. 4 pools in total, great evening entertainment for kids. 10 min taxi ride from Old Town and New Town

The most charming hotel we have been to. Excellent service, everyone is nice, lots of delicious food, lots of activities, everything is clean. Feeling of kings. Highly recommended - not to be missed.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant in the Mitsis Selection Alila hotel, and it was truly an outstanding experience! The ambiance was charming and authentic, with warm decor and an inviting atmosphere

Large rooms with sea view. Comfortable bed. Beach has a mixture of small round stones and sand. Sort of free foot message. Water is still warm at beginning of October. It is a very relaxing place.

A very nice hotel, good service and good food. Also a special thanks to the lovely employees at the kids-club, who were so nice and helpful with our daughter. She really enjoyed the activities there

A perfect hotel, starting with the amazing welcome and quick check in, the spacious and lovely rooms, we had the family room for my wife and I, and our two little children

The food was incredible—each dish was bursting with flavors and perfectly captured the essence of Greek cuisine

Mate best hotel I've been to in ages, staff were amazing, food was bussin BUT the on site restaurant you had to pay for which wasn't in the all inclusive package was terrible! Apart from that 30/10 would love to come again

Excellent place! I loved a very clean room, food, shops nearby (inside the hotel), pools with the depth adjusted for kids and aquapark for the youngest. Service was absolutely great and it was a very good time spent.

Perfect relaxation hotel for young couples. The staff and the hotel definitely deserve 5 stars. It’s super clean and the main restaurant has a different theme every night so you can definitely enjoy the food

Super hotel overlooking the sea, staff polite and do everything they can. Sunbeds still available at 9am. 3 a la carte restaurants, and had a fantastic meal at the Italian. Overall an excellent week away

Also a big bonus is the adults only area which is the best for breakfast and dinner. We love it and would always want to come back. The hotel looks exactly as shown in the pictures!!!!

They have entertainment and activities daily. Very responsive team in the reception. We had a room facing the street and it was OK. I imagine the sea view people heard the loud music from the bar

They have car rental at a very good price. No need to book ahead of time. The high season might be different. But I recommend going low season

She made as feel extremely comfortable, she even noticed our preferences for drinks in the morning and would prepare them as soon as she sees us sit without us ordering (this is exceptional attention and care) she was exceptionally friendly and we would really miss her, and a very good reason for us to return next year

When it comes to the beach facilities: - The beach is really clean - A couple of pools and you can also use the facilities of the other Esperos hotels - The Lazy River and the Garden area were a very good addition for getting some shade and chill - The sea is stony and has cliffs, but because of the vegetation on those cliffs a lot of pretty and different fish can be seen Entertainment program: -...

We were initially disappointed/not feeling well as we sat in the outside restaurant area for breakfast and dinner and we felt the personal there was exceptionally unfriendly, I have never experienced something like this before in Greece

The new animation team is very nice as well. Overall, nice hotel with good food and perfect location. Hope to see you again in the future

It is not a front sea view, but only a side view of the sea. Throwing toilet paper in the trash can is unpleasant. One day we came back from the beach in the evening and found that there was no running water in the room

The hotel needs some love in a lot of areas, but I guess they are working on it as some changes are seen compared with last year. I love the fact that this year the entertainment is different every evening

They told us at the reception that there was no running water in the entire hotel and that we should be patient and that we would buy overpriced water in the hotel store

The room was nice, spacious, cleaned every day. The only thing that bothered us was the longer journey from the room to the reception compared to the cheaper rooms

Outside a magnificent pool and a beautiful garden awaits the guests. The beach is very well kept and beautiful. The strongest point of Mitsis Falraky is obviously its cuisine. I've seldom eat better food like here

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The convenience of the beach, to the clean beach towels each day, mini-bar and more. They also offer a birthday service, which added an extra special touch to our stay

Namely, all the rooms located in the first building, having even numbers between 12 to 24 , 112 to 124, 212 to 224, 312 to 324 are affected by the noise of the ventilators from the kitchen and/or laundry

Everything about this place was fantastic! The hotel is situated in front of one of the best sandy beaches of Rhodes. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some relaxation

This makes sleeping with open windows impossible. Even with the windows closed the continuous droning is noticeable. With that said, I would recommend it without hesitation

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mitsis Faliraki, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish

Pool and slides were good drinks also good. Food was poor but its all inclusive so can't argue with that, evening entertainment was boring 😴

I’d say if you have children or are travelling in a group then this hotel would be great. If you’re looking for a hotel to lounge around at for the duration then this probably isn’t it

I’d say if you were visiting when the mornings/evenings will be warmer then this is a great place to stay with plenty of direct transport and excursions at a good price as well as plenty of food & drink, and lovely views from the restaurant terrace

The main downside for my visit was that there is only one bar for all inclusive; it is outside by the main pool and from what I can see didn’t serve hot drinks. There also was no kettle in the room

However I had a great time here (young couple) - Very close to beaches, town (shops, clubs, restaurants etc), plenty of vehicle/ATV hire places nearby, and many pools and outdoor areas to relax at

So of an evening (outside of the meal time) you would have to venture out to the pool to get a drink and in mid-October it was too cool to want to be sat outside for hours just to get a drink

Bar service was not up to standards when serving beer, the cocktails were nice but service in paper cups is not to my liking. Pool areas were nice with plenty of loungers

We did not get a renovated room but it was still nice and honestly I would have preferred it with the beautiful dark hardwood furniture, large space, and balcony with gorgeous views! It’s a relaxed hotel and has tons of space for conventions/ competitions

We stayed at this hotel for the Martial Arts World Tournament and this hotel did an amazing job! We had thousands of people (filled the hotel plus another hotel) and wow! The hospitality manager (Nicholas) is fantastic

Restaurants, bars, lounging area and convention rooms. I highly recommend this place for large groups that need space and top notch hospitality. The hospitality manager makes it 5 stars with just him alone

The food on the buffet was fresh and full of recipes to try that are local specialities. Then they have your classic pizza, fries, nuggets that kids love

First time visiting the Atrium Platinum and it certainly won’t be the last. We booked a luxury suite with personal pool and were blown away by the facilities

It was the first Holliday with our baby (4 Month). What we will remember from this trip, how child friendly everyone has been. Everybody smiling at our baby was so lovely and cute! Thank you for a nice vacation

All Inclusive hotel with very nice pool area, close to everywhere, the beach, the airport and Rhodes town. Close to the hotel is a lot of gift shops and a good, cheap car rental (Sky Rent a Car)

Some rooms are a bit outdated. The buffet restaurant (Dionyssos) has very good rotating menu

If the pool feels too loud or crowded, you can simply step onto the beach, which is conveniently located next to it. The food overall was a highlight

Hotel Sunshine Rhodes We recently stayed at Hotel Sunshine Rhodes and had a lovely experience, which I would rate as 4 stars

Good restaurants, great food. Notice that there are no towels for the pool and the beach, so bring or buy them. Great gardens, really give a serene feeling

Mariana and Jordan always helped me when I needed, they were always helpful and very kind! The Italian restaurant at the hotel is really good and there is a woman there named Zane who helped us every day and was very nice

Wow, a great hotel for the whole family, children and adults. Water aerobics every morning was the best way to start the day by the beautiful pool. There were plenty of activities

Pebble beach, as in principle on the entire west coast. Minus one - poor soundproofing, thin walls, but for the Greeks this is normal. There are also playgrounds for children, a swimming pool

Not a 4* rating our family room was a little outdated. Pool area had loose tiles, children’s pool area needed a lick of paint. Disappointed that you had to pay for a sun bed (€5) at the hotels beach

Clean, comfortable and convenient Just got back from a stay here. The amenities are fantastic! Having an adult only pool as well as the 2 others was an asset. Easy car rental and close to bus routes

The kids had the opportunity to go into a playroom to draw and decorate stones. In the evenings, it was great to have entertainment on the stage with acrobatics and dancing, where the audience got involved in the show

Overall, it was a great hotel for the whole family. We opted for breakfast only, not all-inclusive

The location is brilliant, next to the coastline and such warm weather. The staff are absolutely amazing throughout the whole resort, and the spa is excellent, so soothing and calming, do recommend it here

Excellent rooms. Large, all with balconies. Great spa and pool. Located on the beach. The waves are not strong, swimming is comfortable. Only for recreation of adults Children have nothing to do here.

Short taxi ride to Rhodes old town. Wide variety of drinks at the main bar ,and the staff were brilliant. hot chocolate before bed was great ,Aperol was perfect (my fav drink ) ,nice wine and beers Main dining room

Have to add that as a smoker we didn't feel at all segregated like we usually do on holidays, nice comfy seats on the outside area ,with a great view of the sea and the pool

Rooms cleaned daily ,large comfy bed ,lovely walk in shower. Fridge stocked once woth soft drinks and beers Arrived later than expected, were directed to the bar for a drink before the all inclusive stopped at 11

Varied breakfast ,fresh omelettes daily ,salad ,cooked breakfast ,breads ,porridge yoghurt. The dining staff have got this down to a fine art ,clearing plates ,serving hot drinks and always with a smile

A high rate of cleanliness in the hotel and pools. The hotel has its own beach, access with a very short walk through a tunnel under the road directly from the hotel

We have almost come to the end of our seven night holiday and I can honestly say this has been one of the best holidays we have ever had. All the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for you

Lovely people our parents stayed at this hotel and due to a travel agent messing up we ended up in a hotel further down the road which is vile the cosmopolitan have been extremely helpful and aloud us to buy a all inclusive band to there hotel even though we was staying some were else as the food at the hotel we was staying in was disgusting so this now means we have access to all the cosmopolitan...

I had a great experience staying at Sol Cosmopolitan Ixia. The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. They greeted me with smiles on their faces and answered all my questions

The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, as was the room I stayed in. The food was delicious and fresh. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I would definitely recommend staying here

Everything is clean, cozy, made with taste. Pleasant design, new furniture, snow-white fluffy towels. The staff is polite and friendly. There were no complaints about the cleaning

fabulous entertainment from the animation team, keeping our 12 year old entertained when it's not cool to hang with mum and dad and too old for kids club

Avra beach resort is an excellent hotel. Staff are all brilliant and so friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are always very nice and you can get food all day long with plenty of choice even from the snack bar

The hotel put on a comprehensive programme for children including animation activities in the afternoon and a great Halloween display and food. Food was available all day till midnight

The kids club had a few different activities on for the kids to choose from, the staff was helpful. There was snacks available all day and night and the whole inclusive drinks were great

Some of the staff was great here, the place was very well kept, clean. I loved that they have their own beach and very comfy sunbeds

The soft drinks were makes and not just cheap and tasteless. Some of the cleaning staff were great and very helpful

The hotel is nice and has a good atmosphere. Most of the staf are friendly. The sunbeds by the pool are free near the beach and grass area they charge 4 Euro a bed. Animation is basic but very fun

This hotel is great! Clean, spacious, good customer service, lovely selection of food, nice bar, swimming pool always clean, arcade/games area is great for both adults and children, the views are incredible and location is great to travel around

The pool was nice enough space, however need to maintain the rules in respect of putting towels down before 10am. Another idea if possible to have an outside gym to help burn those calories from the great food your serve

Staff very helpful and friendly, entertainment during the day for children and adults. Evening entertainment very good, Benny, head of entertainment does an excellent job at entertaining everyone

The most relaxing, wonderful family holiday

No communication between the holiday company and the hotel meant 2 days of high stress, annoyance and not getting what we paid a LOT of money for

Pleasant and warm staff, from the welcome to the restaurant service. A rental service available at the reception with -10% for people who reside in the hotel, a very nice man. Swimming pool, deckchair, calm and rest

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the sea. Charming and serviceminded staff. The outdoor area was in good condition and so was the pool area

When you buy a tour to a hotel from the first page of search results sorted by price, there are always reasonable fears that reviews are cheated, pictures are embellished, half an hour drive to the sea instead of the promised hundred meters on foot and other tricks

All life is in full swing on a small patch around the pool and bar - at the moment it is almost the entire territory, but the hotel is developing and expanding and soon the owners plan to build a large pool on a wasteland between the buildings, as well as open a second restaurant (see diagram)

Friendly, good service, good pool area. The food and cocktails aren't that good. The rooms serve their purpose and the cleaning ladies do a good job every day

As a family of four we went to Kalithea Horizon Hotel last year which was more of a resort and kept us all entertained. We have found ourselves bored and going to bed early in the evenings

The hotel was lovely, right across from the beach. Our room was great we had a mountain view overlooking the pool. The food and drinks were good lots to choose from

If you have kids, there is not a lot here for them to do at the hotel, other than the pool and a ping pong table

It's a nice hotel but for a 4 star hotel, the rooms are ok and the all inclusive food is tasteless and cold

This is a wonderful hotel on the beach. It us quiet , relaxing with lovely staff. The bungalows are light and spacious with a lovely terrace to sit in the evening to enjoy some Rodos wine.

It seems to be not bad, but what are cockroaches! His wife and children were afraid to go into the bathroom while I examined her for their absence

Pools: 3 swimming pools (2 for adults from 0. 85 to 2 meters depth, 1 for kids 45 cm deep). Plus the backyard water slide. The animators - a fun, energetic, friendly

The place is good. Would come again. Staff great and helpful. Food plentiful and varied. Only thing that holds it back from a good 5 star is that our room was tired and dated although perfectly serviceable.

Log into the sea is better in Slippers - even pebbles and round, but the legs hit. The sea - Aegean, permanently wind and waves, but it's just his personality. So basically bathe in the pools

Large Rooms for a small Price and very friendly owner, definitely worth a stay! But AirCon on the opposite side of the sleeping room, so it's hot inside.

Pretty good hotel, bar drinks are strong, but doesn't taste good, beach is stoney. Entertainment is good, restaurant is good.

These places are what they are, hotels for the masses and the multicultural International. The Belair is clean and the staff very friendly. The food is plentiful but same old same old every day

I can't stand the "towel on the sunbed" gang, and this hotel has them by the dozen, mainly British clowns! Plenty to do around the hotel if you don't fancy being stuck to the "All inclusive"

Rhodes Town is really nice and a trip to Symi and or Lindos is recommended

There was a terrace overlooking the main pool you literally walk down 3 steps and you are at the pool. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to chill and relax but I have a feeling in high season it’s a party one

It’s not very private from neighbour but that wasn’t an issue for us. The pool and bar is very relaxing and chilled they do have pool parties on weekend but we were not there for them

We went to reception at check out to be moved and the room they allocated us wasn’t ready so again they moved us to another that was ready. This was pool view room and again it was very spacious and luxury

My husband and I visited for a few days our first holiday without the kids. We upgraded to plunge pool which was lovely. The pool was cold great for morning dip to wake you up

Having to get up super early each morning to reserve sunbeds was quite disappointing. This created an unnecessary stress and ruined the relaxed atmosphere around the pool

The staff and food was great on site we only ate there for lunch. Breakfast great choice of foods only thing lacking was tea, it was hard to find and but you don’t see much tea on the island it’s all coffee
