Perfect family hotel.
Perfect for 1 night.
My wife forgot her phone at the plane and they went over their head to help
me. Drove me back to the airport , spoke to the woman there and found it for us!
We were 16 guests with children.
All rooms were ready as we asked.
Very good breakfast.

Cheked in at 0:00 front desk staff was really nice! Imediatly helped with the bags and explained about the hotwl. Room is waht you expect from 3 stars. Well apointed clean and was prepared for three people wirh the opening of the second bed. Complementary bottle of wine and huge bottle of water. We were complemented with breakfast for free. Breakfast buffet is well appointed. Staff is very very helpful.

Average rooms, shower needs some attention. But our welcome in the late evening was very nice. There was a bottle of wine waiting and water. On the house. After being robed ( charged far to much just 2 kilometers) by two local taxidrivers. The cross in the car didn’t represent their actions :-(. Thanx again city gate hotel for welcoming us in the proper way to Thessaloniki! Well done.

Location and shuttle service is perfect for the airport. Neighborhood is not for evening hikes or entertainment.
Hotel is clean and well-kept. The bathroom layout of some rooms is questionable, the shower in our room did not have a curtain or doors, and while it was a luxury shower system, the water jets will spray across all of the bathroom.
Had a good time and the breakfast buffet is very large, many choices.

A few minutes drive from the airport, but nothing within walking distance( not pedestrian friendly) except maybe Hyatt hotel. Other than that, a great place to stay(we had a dog). No restaurant, but food delivery works great here (Volt ). Very friendly staff.

Fantastic people at the hotel, we were not customers but they accept us to charge our Tesla at their charger for a few hours. We really appreciate this so next time will book a room also to spend the night. The hotel looks good and clean. Thanks again!

I had a reservation for one night at this hotel, made through booking.com
Since I had some personal problems, I had to cancel (in addition to the flight and rental car) the room reservation. I made this cancellation request 7 days before, but despite all this I was charged the full fee for 1 night's accommodation...
it seems like an abuse on the part of the hotel - the room was not used by me in plsu for 1 week, there is enough time for other customers to stay.

Excellent service, ideally located combining proximity to the city and quietness of the suburban area. Pretty close to the airport. The kindness and the genuine smile you receive from the hosts is an attribute you rarely find these days anymore. Clean rooms and on top of that a rich buffet full of local delicacies. Certainly recommended!

Great location for a short layover. Amazing breakfast, the pretzels are delicious, pies also. Hotel employees are lovely and responsive at ever request.
For the room I do not have anything good or bad to say, don’t expect anything more than a bed and a shower with some basic minibar. Cleanses can be improved.

We had a great two day stay at City Gate Hotel before flying out of Thessaloniki. The room was comfortable, and the provided breakfast was delicious! Prior to our early departure (before breakfast was open) the staff had prepared us a bag with snacks for our flight. Great way to end our trip to Greece :)
