Large, spacious resort. We got a nice, cosy, traditionally-styled house a few steps from the pool. Unfortunately, WLAN and Internet did not work in the house and even not in front of it. Only some 20 steps away WLAN worked.
Being your own soap and shampoo. Very pet friendly offering different size dog cradles in multiple places while domestic cats are strolling around. Room safe are available. Google AI is blocking even simplest photographs like room safe. Wierd
Excellent holiday option for families with kids. My kids loved it.
I came here for a two night solo staycation and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I went for their "autumn relaxation package" which included the room, half-board, wifi, bicycle rental and use of wellness facilities, for a very friendly price! Firstly the staff was super polite, helpful, and friendly! The breakfast buffet had a great selection of eggs, meats, salad and vegetables, sauces...

Very quiet, wonderful quiet garden and lovely outdoor pool. Breakfast and dinner very varied and delicious. Room tidied/cleaned once every 7 days!
Michelin-starred cuisine Service, staff, cleanliness, treatment and therapeutic care, everything is simply perfect! And the food: if a buffet restaurant could be given Michelin stars, this chef would have to get it! Simply Michelin-starred cuisine and service! We'll be back next year!
No reviews since 2018 . . . let's update things in November 2023. The entire hotel has been beautifully renovated and is worthy of a four star rating. The design and architecture are really super and they are currently building a new thermal water spa. All new furniture and great design everywhere. Good parking. HOWEVER . . . . whether Covid has hit them, or maybe they just can't get the right staff...
It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. And cheap. There's a holiday vibe. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow.)

A cozy hotel in a lively area, next to the Jewish quarter, lots of cafes, exchange offices and shops, the center is quickly reached by metro
You won't have any problems staying here. It's spacious enough for one person. There is a hairdryer and the shower is fine. No toothbrush provided. Luggage storage available. There is a currency exchange nearby. Near the tram station. There is no kettle in the room, but there is a microwave and kettle in the dining room on the 1st floor that you can use. I'd like to stay again if the price is right
Hotel is set back from the main road, so quite quiet. Plenty of English spoken by reception staff.
The room is very nice and antique. Very comfortable. It is worth recommending. The transportation in Hungary is very convenient. There are trams No. 4 and No. 6 nearby within a few minutes, which can reach most places in the city. A place worth recommending
We stayed on the top floor. Maybe because we checked in late, we were assigned a loft room. However, the area was good. There were two skylights in the room, which could not be opened or closed. The blinds could be adjusted, but we woke up at dawn. The bed was generally OK. The single bed was average, and the double bed was very comfortable. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, where you could take...
We stayed for two nights at Unio. The hotel had a old-fashioned style. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were very comfortable, even if not luxurious

Excellent breakfast and dinner, great forests, clean air. Peace :)
Fantastic, this was our second time in this hotel and it was total awesomeness again. Next summer we'll go to Lover again
Really good place for relaxing and recharing batteries.
Good hotel, clean, nice service, excellent food, I recommend to all.
A nice hotel located in one of the best cities in Hungary. The restaurant is cool, they have a gym and a spa area and a huge courtyard with a playground and sun beds. It's surrounded by the forest and there are a lot of beautiful places to visit around the hotel. Suitable for families mostly but would be good for couples as well.
Very good value for the price, and truly excellent food.

Super little hotel in the centre of Budapest. Clean, modern decor, comfortable beds, helpful and friendly staff and even a locally brewed IPA on tap at the bar. Perfect for a weekend break in the city, all the main tourist attractions were within easy reach and it was almost on the marathon course too - making it easy for us to cheer on our daughter. A better toaster and some baked beans on the breakfast...
modern hotel not far from the centre, suitable location for those who want to visit the main attractions of Budapest on foot. excellent management of the structure as it is very clean and in the morning you will find a buffet breakfast both savory and sweet. friendly staff. what can I say?? I recommend the structure whether for a business trip or a pleasure holiday
Not bad at all. Good air conditioning, nice comfortable beds and an excellent location. Staff were mainly friendly and efficient and the hotel felt safe. The water pressure even on a high floor was very good. We liked the environmentally friendly door keys. There were some issues, there is not much storage space in the rooms as they are small, but then this is a very reasonably priced hotel. Our...
Superb hotel and superb location and great customer front check-in service. Good value for the money. Breakfast was good, but a little bit more would be great. Weak coffee, diluted juices and a bit more variety of hot and cold dishes. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.
Fantastic location, very central and within walking distance of so many sights and museums. It's a two minute walk from the stunning chain bridge! The hotel lobby is very welcoming with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable, quiet enough for such a central location. Bathrooms are also clean and water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast buffet was extensive with...
Centrally located, many things can be easily reached on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is small but clean. Breakfast was good. When we stayed at this hotel the building near was on construction and for 2 days we heard a lot of noise in the morning (but this isn't hotel fault)

Good hotel with great food and connection with the water park. Some furniture and the bathroom was a bit letdown.
Clean room with shower gel and shampoo included. Separate towels for outside pools and wellness too. Fine dining cuisine, 2 soups and 3-4 main dishes for half-board menu, vegetarian options. Breakfast is hearty (Hungarian style) with drinks included. Excellent hotel personnel, free to stay until 12:00 if your room is not immediately occupied after your stay. Lobby bar has friendly staff and authentic...
Perfect retro experience. Medium size wellnes, some sauna, big outside park with outdoor pools. At every evening at dinner there is a man playing on electric piano. This place's stuck in the 70s.
Hard to rate it because of the huge contrasts. Unbelievably abundant and delicious food but totally worn-out and old infra everywhere. They just can't keep it clean. So the catering is 5 the infra is 1, the cleanliness is 2. The staff friendliness and helpfulness are 4.
We enjoyed the hospitality and service. The meals were great with a wide selection of food. Difficult if you don't speak Hungarian
Nice hotel near the university, and the city center. The bathrooms are not very modern, but the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is super helpful, and the wellness part of the hotel is also great.

The oldest hotel in Debrecen! The first place where I stayed for the very first time!
Good enough for as stay but ain't the perfect place
A good value for money. Big. Grand. Cheap, But smelly. Not great but live able.
Great hotel if you want to experience the spirit of the golden era. The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast. Great experience!
If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl. Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

There is no doubt that the hotel is outdated, but it is super clean and the food is very nice and tasty. Service at the diner is half of the RB hotel price. Even if the hotel was stuck in the 80s, you would have a good time. The only downside is that with Freya Hotel, you do not get access to Thermal World.
The location is great! The hotel is kind of old fashion but very clean, the staff is very helpfull and ready to offer you a good experience. Even if the furniture is old, the matress and the sheets were clean and allergen free (that is my final test in a hotel 😅). Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, bathroom and toilet especially clean and not covered in mold as in some more expensive places. Food is not bad but not very outstanding eighter. Super tasty food and nice peoples. Good memories 😊
It's a 3 star hotel. Good thing about it you can walk to the thermal bath from the hotel through a covered tunnel. Food is tasty but sometimes boring. Rooms are small, outdated but clean. Beds are comfortable.
The rooms are tight, the infrastructure, bathroom and furniture are worn-out. -> 2star only The breakfast is abudant and wide variety of fresh vegetebles and fruits are available. -> 4star Its main benefit is the direct underground connection to the spa which makes it a good choice from autumn to spring. Stay here frequently when in Budapest. The rooms are ok, very clean and to the garden side quiet. The reception is very friendly and helpful - especially the night shift, Zeno. At night a regular direct Night bus as...
Came with a tour group, sharing with one other traveller, room + balcony allow for plenty of space. The renovated rooms have ultra modern bathrooms. The bar out back was the perfect way to end the trip. Super close to public transport, which attracts a sketch crowd at night however no issues as they have an overnight security guard
Stayed only one night for a family meeting. On check in was offered to get breakfast on discounted rate. Found a parking in front of hotel, but in case it's busy (opened public area) offered price for hotel parking is high. Bar and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Location close to public transport and convenient to transit the city, avoid traffic
The location was perfect for us as we used only public transports to and from the airport, the city center and the Ferencvaros training center where we played in a tournament. The rooms were nice and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice, the hot options slightly basic with just scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon, and sausages. Overall an excellent experience and the staff were superb
Was here on a group travel program. While the rooms were nice, this hotel was incredibly understaffed. My friend waited 25 minutes on a Saturday night to pay for a bottle of water at the front desk. The next morning, I tried to fill up my water bottle before a long journey at the machine in the breakfast room and was chastised by a waiter, which left a sour taste in my mouth at the end of my stay....
Good hotel for business stay. Convenient location and reasonable price. Mini laundry available. Breakfast is eatable considering western standards.

I booked a small twin-bed room, and it was an incredibly comfortable stay. The room is very clean with water and small toiletries. It has everyone you need, and the staff were very kind. I had a delicious breakfast that included homemade jam and avocado spreads. I would highly recommend booking here if you visit Sopron!
The location is perfect, the rooms are clear and well equipped, the staff is very nice and breakfast is great. In the room you get some welcome drinks as well.
Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.
Clean, very close to the oldtown, frendly staff, comfy bed, great brekfast. Garage entrance is very narrow and you should get out from the car to use the cardreader (its totally fine down there).
I’ve got a single room with all the conveniances. Nice, big and clean bathroom, comfortable bed, air con working well… The breakfast satisfies all needs; plentiful and delicious. The staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the historical city centre.

While the location was a bit off the main tourist areas, it was very convenient to the trams and buses that were all around the hotel. As a walk, it was about 15-20mins to the main part of the city. This cheap hotel for this quality. In the center of Budapest. It's hard to find something like this. The breakfast had a very big variety of quality foods. The rooms were clean and cleaned every day. Five stars for this hotel as my room was clean and cozy, and the hotel has a nice location by River Danube. The staff are the true gems in this hotel! Everyone at Reception went above and beyond their duties when I was in need for some ice to calm my knee pain. They were friendly, welcoming and resourceful at all times from check-in to check-out. Thank you again!

Location is very good. Near metro and airport bus 100e bus stop. Walkable to many attractions. The room is cleaned well daily. The aircon is too weak and the pillow is too soft.
I have stayed at this hotel several times before, and is my "go to" hotel in Budapest. 3 star hotel only. Cleaness and modern furniture will be the most concern for guests who are thinking of booking a room here. But the rooms are spacious indeed. It feels like we are living back to the Soviet era with timed old building and crack pattern street in front. Centrally located. Perfect for sightseeing and shopping. Rooms are neat and comfortable. But no kettle, no water, no tea/coffee. TV is rubbish - a couple of news channels and the rest is Hungarian. Breakfast is passable. Not much choice. No fresh fruit. Fridge doesn't work.
Nice room, but the lighting is pretty bad. Lightbulbs are small (maximum 10 Lumens) and 2/3 are working. Rennovations are taking place at the hotel. It's noisy from 8am in the morning up to 6-7pm
Kind and helpful staff, spacious rooms and clean. There was only one tiny minus - no kettle in the room. That would be great.
Basic accomodation. Some old furniture. Paint on some walls and ceilings was peeling off. Shower cabin had some moldy silicon. Except these facts, the location and the value is good.
The location is great! If you came by car, the parking is at the basement and you will have direct acces with the elevator to reception desk. The rooms are nice, A/C is working all the time (we were in July), the beds are very confortable. They change our sheets every 2 days.
Whatever the price or star grading of a hotel there is no excuse for mould in the shower, a shower head that falls to the ground (had to hold it by hand) and spider webs on upper walls that have not been cleaned for months. Evidence that the one elevator has been out of order for long time. This hampers large tour groups accessing rooms efficiently. Good breakfast in hotel next door.

Budget hotel, don't expect too much. The hotel is in a quiet alley, and you have to climb a few stairs to get to the room, which is not very convenient. I booked a triple room, which is ok in size. The breakfast is average.
very clean and modern design. great location in the city center. the staff are very friendly. the breakfast is amazing and has lots of options. value for money
This hotel is very clean, modern and the location couldn't be better. All sights are within walking distance and the metro and bus stops too. In the morning a wide range of breakfast. The hotel room itself is very neat and has good air conditioning. All in all I could hardly find any negatives. For the price this is great.
The breakfast is 10,000 times better than the internet-famous restaurant next door. It's one kilometer to the train station and one kilometer to the Freedom Bridge. It's quite convenient.
The hotel is within a 10-minute walk of the synagogue and the ruins cafe, and the area around the hotel is quiet, so it's an affordable place to relax. The breakfast was substantial.

The Food was excellent, there is even decent espresso at the included breakfast. The game room with bar look okay, but the pool tables are made of steel/a lot of metal and feel from the 1950s or earlier. They cost extra/frame, althogh at the reception we were told it is free. There is also the Bowling alley available for booking. The Spa is nice with wet and dry Sauna, Cold Water Tub, Jacuzzi Pool...
Lots of small shops right there.
Very clean hotel (rooms, spa zone, corridors...), all personnel take care of this, they are polite and servant with customers. Good and plenty food, all tastes available. Good value for the money we paid.
Very good value for money with a friendly stuff Food was fresh and delicious every night Nice spa for relaxation
Well located hotel on main pedestrian street with pool and fitness of its own. Somehow the rooms were still not noisy while balcony door was open. The meals of day (breakfast and dinner) are well variable during longer stay (we had a 5-night vacation) and we did not get bored of "all the same on different days" meals - it was not the case here.
