We stayed here on our honeymoon on a tour. Amazing service! Great food and wine! Great location! Highly recommend. Rooms are cozy, very comfortable, food is regional and fantastic and the breakfast is great!
I really liked the service. The staff was always helpful and nice. The room was also good and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect for me and I had great breakfast.
Great hotel for a holiday ana business. Great location and very comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Breakfast excellent. Staff in all hotel areas was very nice and helpful. It was my first time here where I spent unforgettable moments with my family . Thank you😀😀
Absolutely amazing. From the service at the front desk, to the room cleanliness to the amazing breakfast. We booked an Airbnb and it was disgustingly dirty, left shortly after and found this, we booked this room at the front desk and it was spotless. The girl on the front desk (sadly we didn’t get her name) was friendly yet really professional. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had...
The hotel rooms are really small, for 4 nights with a baby it was very dificult to survive, specially keeping a stroller in our room as well. The closet is too small as well, it can barely fit one persons stuff. We enjoyed breakfast and a mostly very nice and caring stuff. Big plus is the position in the city - right on the bus, trolley, tram and metro stop, near river and about 15minutes walk to...
I’m no celebrity, but I have traveled all my life and I consider this as one of the best hotel restaurants and breakfasts Ive experienced. Fresh delicious food, meticulous cleanliness and amazing variety of food, fruit and salads, etc. Hotel staff is as helpful as possible too. I highly recommend this place but especially breakfast!!!

Very nice room and good service. High value for money. The breakfast is also nice. But.. the hotel is facing to a very busy road. I couldn't sleep until i put an ear plugs. Also, you can actually smell the air pollution from out side. I highly recommend for the hotel to swich the windows to sound proof without the option to open them.
Okay location, okay breakfast, kinda okay rooms and okay service. Nothing that’ll blow your mind away but nothing terrible either. Just a very old ordinary hotel that’s crying for renovation.
There are many things that the hotel needs to upgrade on. Specially the repair of rooms to bring up to modern standards. There was issues with the beds in the room that we stayed since the beds were very easy to be pushed around. And also there was dirt not cleaned since sometime below the beds.
All the elevators were broken except one. They even blocked off the stairs as well. This is an extreme fire hazard. They locked the staff stairs and did not let anyone use the stairs. The showers were good, IF they didn't leaks and flood the entire restroom. This happened in all the rooms that my family and friends were in. The breakfast was good, but they refilled everything extremely slowly. The...
Great stuff. Wonderful rooms and breakfast was the best. The hotel is close to new york cafe and the metro station is just in front of the hotel.
Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either. Carpets could use a deep cleaning here and there but overall it’s fine. It’s also kinda loud outside at night and the AC was not working in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open. The breakfast choice could’ve been better

This hotel is ok for a weekend stay. Rooms are clean (some of them are renovated, some are not), breakfast is ok. Staff is very helpful. Some parts of a hotel (for example canteen, bar and reception) need renovation, because time there has stopped probably 20 years ago. Good location, by the stadium and next to the subway station.
Was led to believe closer to expo venue than it actually was when booking. Was actually over 5 minute taxi ride each day. Hotel was good, no coffee day 2 or day 3 in room. Beware taxis overcharged 4x on one trip by uber claiming to be taxi who solicited by roadside, stay vigilant. Hotel staff great but due to location and reliance on taxis would not stay there again, but metro is next door which...
The staff was extremely professional and polite, the room was clean and had everything that we needed. They also left us a bottle of water, a few bags of Coffee and sugar as well as different Teabags. They also let us leave our luggage after the check-out free of charge.
Rooms was simply but clean, metro is on the corner of the hotel, breakfast was amazing. I stayed there for the concert on 1 night and it was great, location to Arena 1 minute by walk, metro near by...
We stayed here 4 days, first of all it is stupid that you can't park car in front of hotel for check in, you must pay. First two days was very noisy, then ok. Cleanliness is on high level. Breakfast is very good. I haven't used gym but it looks excelent. Pool was not warm enough, my child start shaking after 15min :( Infrared sauna wasn't working. Pool is working Mon-Fr till 21h, on weekends only until...
Super friendly staff at reception and everywhere. Always open to help. Breakfast is delicious, freshly cooked and plenty. Dinner was marvellous and I can only recommend to enjoy the great taste. They also have a huge training gym with a size I have never seen in any other hotel. Spa is just next door to enjoy. Easy to get there with public transport.

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.
I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).
The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.
The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.
Pure happiness! This place has got everything you need! We loved the kids club which is open everyday 9am-9pm. So much fun! The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!
We really enjoyed our day there. The location is a little outside of Budapest city center but you can come by bus easily. We came on a weekday and it was quite a lot of people (mostly families) there. Still it was enough space inside the pools and you didn't need to queue for a long time to use the slides. We can recommend the Kamicaze, it's awesome! Also the family slide and the kids area were really...

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.
Excellent service, professional front desk staff. Good location, connected to westend shopping mall. The executive lounge is the best of all the Hiltons. Keep it up!
When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.
I stayed in this hotel several times over the last years and I love it. The staff is amazing, the rooms are big in size and clean and well arranged. The breakfast is served in a nice area and the park on the rooftop of the shopping center has its own charm. The executive lounge offers good food at the happy hour. Very nice hotel close to the city centre. The people and the team are always happy to help. I would also like to say a massive thank you to Adam, from the bar near the reception. He was kind and friendly, and made our stay extra special. Customer service at its finest. Grazie e a presto, Adam, it was great to meet you! Köszönöm!
I stayed here for three nights with the family. I had a mixed experience staying here. The staff is very good and were helpful all the way. But, I had a big problem with the rooms. Other than that, the food was decent and so was...
The rooms are good. The place is kid friendly and staff are very attentive. It is very accessible to the city as there is a bus stop and tram station right in front of the hotel. There is a paid bar and bowling alley which is 10000 HUF to bowl. The pool however is indoor and small and very cold. There is a sauna and salt room but you have to ask reception for them to come with the key and turn on the...
Breakfast excellent. Employees very polite. Very comfortable beds and the whole apartment. Very good quality for price. Long working hours of pool (6-23h). Good choice of amenisties (pool, sauna, salt room, gym, playroom for kids with toys and sony). Parking place 15€/24h (lasting all 24h even if you are checked out). I have been only in the lobby and the bar. Friendly and polite international staff, clean and cosy place. If you need they have a private parking lot for a fair price (approximately 1 euro/hour).
It is an ok hotel to spend one night, but not more. It is far from the city center and you need a car to get there (or use the public transportation). It is definitely not a 4 star hotel and everything is a bit outdated. The rating of 8 from Booking is a fair one..
It was a pleasant stay for us as a couple. Nice staff, great wellness, great food and drinks. The rooms could do with a bit of renovation as some of the facilities did not look or work well. Takes some time to get to the city center, public transport does the work.
Overall, it is a good hotel. The hotel staff will treat you with respect and a smile. He had a very good breakfast. We had fun. It had a very good pool and jacuzzi. Our room was very nice and quiet. But the bathroom was not very clean. We paid 180 euros for a double night.
The service and food at the River Bar was excellent! Daniel and his team are doing a great job taking care of their guests. It all feels very warm and welcoming. I got one of the best Gulasch I had ever had. Thank you!
This review is way overdue. We stayed here for two nights during the 120th Anniversary celebration of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was great. The food was very tasty. There was a small issue at the beginning of our stay but the staff resolved it quickly in a very satisfactory manner. Highly recommend this place.
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Inadequate Response I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say that it was deeply disappointing. We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Highly recommend
Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts.. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
Beautiful Hotel in the city center, easy to access with public transport. Helpful staff at check in, bar and cleaning staff. The restaurant was lovely, good food and service. The breakfast is a nice mix of different things with a variety every day, one minus point is the morning staff. Tables aren't cleared after guests left and staff oftentimes chats behind the counter rather than refilling cups/...
It was a lovely stay. The facilities of the hotel are great. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, had a lot of variety and the food was of great quality. The location of the hotel is really convenient. The best thing about the hotel were the staff members. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. I had a great stay here! The room upgrade was a nice surprise, with a fantastic view and beautiful decor. The hotel’s vibe is really unique. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. A big thanks to Kristina at the bar for the great service and being so friendly. Highly recommend!
Who designed showers here? There is only half a shower door... whenever one takes a shower the water sprays out into the rest of the bathroom and literary creates a mini pool. I have noticed many hotels like this. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the way I take showers.
The interior is modern, artistic and the rooms are bigger than you expect at Ibis. The breakfast spread is good, and the parking was a breeze. The Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The restaurant staff was nice, they helped my wife find all the vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. Overall recommended.
Absolutely incredible hotel. We stayed for a little over a week, and let me tell you that this place was THE BEST! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, the breakfasts were delicious and very fresh with plenty of croissants, coffee, porridge, yogurt, and more. The rooms are insanely quiet. I have no idea how they did it, but I don't hear doors shutting, people talking, or cleaning crews...

Good breakfast and clean rooms. Position is perfect for visiting Budapest with metro or tram. Nice view of the park. Acceepts pets and they have also smoking rooms.
Quite a large selection of different Breakfast dishes. Clean in the rooms. But there was a smell of smoke in the corridors, although in the hotel there are signs banning Smoking. The staff is friendly. Understands and speaks English.
Great hotel for the price-quality ratio. Lovely breakfasts. Juices, fruit, excellent coffee and pastries. Omelettes porridge yoghurt dried fruits.good sausages cheeses. Great pool and sauna.
The hotel is large, Clean, comfortable, variety of foods for Breakfast and quite tasty. Of the minuses - the rooms are a bit "tired". Overall an OK hotel

Quiet area, nice and big rooms, great customer service, located not too far from the heart of Budapest, but it's recommended to take a taxi cab through the Uber app. Taxi drivers are honest and super nice, with no hidden fees or extra charges. Nice wellness hotel: Great food (buffet, international and Hungarian food). Our room was clean (but book a renovated Deluxe room!), wifi works well. Parking is included. The hotel is in a good place, nearby shopping mall and public transport! We usually stayed in Leonardo Hotel, Barcelona or Mestre (Venice) because of the nice and spacious hotel rooms. Unfortunately in Budapest the room was too small, that double bed fits so so and the remaining 30 cm around the bed was the only corridor to get on the other side of the room. Also the acoustics of the walls were the...

The price to quality ratio is high. The hotel is renovated but not completely so the older parts (some of the rooms, the AC, the refigrators, some of the public facilities) do not function optimally. Some of the staff can also be friendlier. The location is ok.
Unsure of what to expect of Hungary but was very surprised of this pleasant, relaxed hotel by the river.  The airport in Amsterdam had lost my luggage so pressure eased by the welcoming staff at this hotel.  Checkin was straightforward and the rooms are a decent size and comfortable.  Breakfast doesn't have loads of choice but they do have a decent selection of fruit and pastries.  The dining room...
Nice, upscale hotel with fantastic river views, wonderful spa and 4 huge pools of varying temperatures, good restaurant and laundry service and adequate rooms. However, none of the room air conditioners functioned properly. We traveled with a large group and everyone was terribly hot. Temperatures were over 95°F. The front desk staff acknowledged the problem but could not offer a fan. While the hotel...
Highly recommend! Stayed there for 2 nights. Everything was more than we expected. The staff extremely helpful, the rooms very clean, newly renovated, beautiful view of the river and the breakfast very good. You have to pay extra 12€/day for parking, wich is a bargain giving the fact that Budapest is an extremely busy town, and also we were told this in advance, so we knew this when we chose the...
Great location and very nice service. Much of the hotel is renovated, but the rooms are quite old. Cleanliness is a plus everywhere in the hotel! Not far from grocery stores and restaurants. A great place for a few days stay :)
Had stayed here for 5 nights for a software engineering conference(2019 pre covid era) view from the room was excellent and the room was big was a double split beds kinda room, atleast the room that was alloted to me directly faced the riverfront at night i could also see the lights on the bridges and the famous parliment building from my window. Breakfast and lunch(free since conference) and other...

Great experience. One night stay. Just a stop on the ttip to Plitvice but what a great find. It was a nice stay even if we didn't take advantage of all that you offer. Maybe next time!
We were at the hotel for the first time. We booked 5 nights. We liked everything so much during the first day that we extended our stay for another 6 days. Since the treatment in Lake Xeviz is optimal for 10 days. Reception: We were checked in by an employee named Dora. Friendly and attentive, she explained everything to us and actually created a good mood for us. Many thanks to her. Room: Spacious...
All fine, only point of critisism: The wines at the all you can drink were undrinkable and tasted bad. I wanted to enjoy some nice wine, but couldn't finish a glass :/
We had a great 3 night stay in Ensana Thermal Aqua hotel. Room was very comfy and the personal was very frindly, professional and helpfull. We had ALL-IN and all the meals for the whole day were excelent and very tasty. Wide selection of main dishers, vegetable salads, various snacks and cakes. Almost whole day are available soft drinks, vine and beard for ALL-IN type of stay. Wellness pools and...
Not bad hotel. Rooms are ok, wellness & spa part is also ok, saw better, saw worse. Got 2 small pools with hot water, one that is connected with outer part. Got small pool for kids. Also got some saunas and steam bath. Food is average, but versatility of food is questionable. If you are vegan or vegetarian, don't have to much options. The biggest minus is that most of the staff does not speak English...
Absolutely stunning location located right next to Lake Hévíz. The staff greeted my wife and I right as we walked in and were very friendly. They explained how the spa worked and what was included and gave us an all-access wristband. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and they had outlets on each side of the bed. The star of the show was definitely the spa and its proximity to the lake. The...
