Hotel staff are fantastic, everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are new. Location is also excellent, on the edge of the city center / main tourist area on the Pest side, with metro, buses and tram stations all next to the hotel.

The Crowne Plaza Budapest is in a great location, with the Westend shopping mall downstairs. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are reasonably designed, spacious and bright, the breakfast is very rich, and you can also use the sauna and fitness for free. The connection to the Westend mall was very nice. It also leads to the Metro1 line. So it’s not near the attractions but it’s easy to get to places.

We stayed one night at the Mercure Hotel in Budapest and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Everything was well organized and comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant. When we return to Budapest, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our stay.

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

Live in Budapest, this is written more for tourists to Hévíz and the Ensana Thermal Aqua. Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes). On foot from the bus station Ensana Thermal Aqua was easy to find, about 20 minute walk, use the central lake as your destination...

Not the first time in this hotel. Food, SPA, territory, cleanliness in the room - everything was at the highest level. The staff takes great care of the guests, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the vacationers themselves.

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. In the last two years, they have raised the level of accommodation. We are satisfied with the staff and cleanliness. The saunas are nice.

It’s now called Ensana Therma Aqua and has an amazing refurbished spa and rooms.It’s an all inclusive hotel. Tip:get a capuccino at the bar (€) as the one from the coffee machine is mediocre at best.

We came here for a night as a stop just to relax, the pool area is really awesome. Outdoor pool with nice water and a lot of whirlpool zones an biiig indoor pool to swim. During dinner we were told guests were expected to wear long pants. The family room was comfortable, modern and well equipped. Although the ventilation in the kids room was quite loud and could not be turned off. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a varied and high quality selection. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location convenient to public transport and about 20 or so minutes from the main sites along the river. The hotel really is a gem. A modern hotel with a great vibe and super location with access to both metro and trams virtually on the doorstep. The staff were great and the breakfast with its hot and cold selection was a fantastic bonus. A great bathroom with a shower and a bath. A sauna and gym is available at no extra cost. Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

We had an early flight from Budapest, it was Easter and we wanted to enjoy some spa as well, the hotel was a little bit further but worth the money.. we had to pay for the parking tho.. the spa was good, but not all saunas were functional. Quite a lovely resort and the staff was wonderful. We were there before the busy season started so we almost had the place to ourselves. The indoor heated pools are magnificent with lots of jets and ways to sit / lounge and enjoy them.
