Great hotel. I had a great time here, the staff at reception were really helpful. The room was a great size and very clean. The housekeeper made the beds every day and put fresh towels in the room when needed. Breakfast in the morning was good with a great choice of food and lots of it. Restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location to get about Budapest, I would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights. I would give it another chance.
Pros: Location and Sebastian
Cons: Check in process takes forever. If they are backed up, you cannot check out either. Went back down when there was no one in line and the female receptionist told me she couldn't help me because she was too busy.
You can't change temperature in room.
They only give 1 room key but we were 2 guests.

The poor rating is based on the fact that upon check out they said the deposit of 40 euros will be credited back to my account. It's been a week today since we checked out and the money still not been credited back. I reached out to the hotel and was told it will take up to 30 days for the money to be returned. I was also instructed to contact the hotel's bank should I have any issue because the money has been forwarded to the bank. I've travelled to many countries and stayed in so many hotels and this is the only hotel that has done this kind of thing. We were a big group that stayed in that hotel - 16 people - 8 rooms. So that's 320 euros still in their account just from our group. And if you add the other guests, imagine the accumulated money that's in their account for a rolling 30 days. This is so wrong and Im not happy. Never encountered anything like this before.

Optimal location in the city center and we could walk to various tourist attractions with ease. The staff members were mostly friendly and polite.
We stayed here for four nights and I couldn’t sleep through in even one night. The blanket was so airtight that you’d wake up in the middle of the night in your own sweat. That’s even with the AC on at 18 degrees. It’s just bananas.
Reported to the reception that the shower water pressure was low and they said they’d send a technician to look into it. Said that they’d call me in my room. Nobody called. The water pressure was constantly low unless you turned the shower head and changed the flow type to have the stronger center stream. Not ideal.
Breakfast got dull very fast. I suppose it’s sufficient for 5/6 euro that I paid per day.

Smack in the center of places we cared about: the Hungarian opera house, the St. Stephen Basilica, and many, many good restaurants. Will explore more tomorrow. Had a relaxing lunch at the bar within the hotel, good service. Hungarians are friendly and good workers.

Nice hotel located in the center of Budapest, among narrow streets. There are many historical places within walking distance. Good number of rooms. When registering on the hotel website, a bonus is late check-out, free breakfast or other options. Booking through the website is cheaper than through Bookingcom. Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:00 The price includes a visit to the sauna and other small pleasures.

- we were in a room with 2 single beds, all was OK except that the carpet was not feeling clean, i found candies on the floor , so they can do better with the cleaning.

awful! no good service. friendly but incompetent staff. the worst thing: the hotel wasn't heated in mid- october, i was freezing to death, in my room, in the breakfast room, everywhere. upon my request, they said they would switch on the heating some hours in the morning, some in the evening. a complete lie!!
