The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest

I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. Only recommendation is that the hot tub could be a bit more hot!

The Ritz Carlton Budapest is truly one of the most exquisite hotels I have ever stayed at. Location was amazing, rooms were spectacular and the service was 10/10.

I recommend staying on the club floor. The lounge has the best service I have maybe ever experienced. The staff is kind and makes you feel right at home. They all had our orders memorized by day two. Special recognition goes to Vanessza, was amazing! She gave us amazing recommendations for dinner and things to do around the city.

We spent two days in Budapest en route to Vienna and Prague on a Christmas Market adventure, so we chose the Ritz Carlton Budapest for its location. Because of our limited time in the city, the hotel's location was excellent and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. If something was a bit further, we had the option to take the metro or taxi/uber - though we chose to walk.

The hotel itself was gorgeous and the staff was very welcoming and professional. There was one disappointing encounter with a staff member, but it was unique to her and I would not hold it against the hotel. The breakfast and in-room dining was solid, though we tried to eat most of our meals in town so had limited experience.

I would certainly come back and probably not choose a different hotel in Budapest after experiencing their service. Their service was on par or above other Ritz-Carlton locations I have experienced.

That was a wonderful experience in charming Budapest. Not only is the location very central and close to river Danube but also the offered amenities and ambience is indeed worth 5 stars. But the real difference was being made by the very friendly and service oriented staff. Special thanks to the service manager Daniel who cared for us in an excellent and supportive way throughout our stay. Toni as member of the service staff in the restaurant did make our breakfast experience a happy start into the day. We will definitely come back!

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was wonderful overall. We were able to check in early, which was convenient after a really long flight, though we did receive a street view instead of the city view we’d hoped for. The check-in process was smooth, and most of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. However, one staff member was a bit aggressive in questioning if we were guests, which was unexpected. Despite this, housekeeping was fantastic, and breakfast each morning was a highlight with a great selection of high-quality options. Rooms are a bit outdated and needs an overhaul. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience!

Stayed here for one night, and was pleased to receive very generous elite recognition as Titanium. Staff were omnipresent, attentive, and cordial. The room was spacious and pristine (my only complaint - the carpeting is a touch dated, even if in fair condition). Breakfast was excellent (try the shakshuka). Look forward to staying again in the future!

Just a pleasure all around. From the decor, to the way it smells, to how spotlessly clean it is. How impeccable and dedicated the staff are. The comfortable beds, towels and robes. Just love it. Gorgeous views. Best location.

I have some mixed feelings. On one hand, it's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Location is perfect for exploring the city, our room had a great view, it was neat and we have a lot of space for our small family. The best part of the hotel is the team: always ready to help, and giving you the feeling that you are not a client, but a guest. I strongly believe it's one of the best achievements for any hospitality business. I would like to say a special "thank you" to Charles who was perfectly nice and helpful. However there is a pinch of salt: the spa. When I was exploring the hot, looking how can I treat myself, I visited the spa and had a little conversation with the team there. I asked few questions about the pool also, mentioned that my daughter will love to come here with me, playing in the pool. At the same time I was told that if my daughter will be loud, they will ask us to live the pool. They said that they want to keep their spa as quiet as possible for their quests. It was not pleasant to here that. Considering the fact that there is no way to keep a child silently enjoying the pool, I decided do not come there at all, even the pool was one of the criteria to choose the hotel.

Wonderful stay at the Budapest Ritz Carlton Hotel - I was a little disappointed to find out the Ritz don’t honor lifetime Marriott titanium members with club lounge access, but that didn’t hurt the experience at all. This Ritz is located at the crossroads of all public transportation in the city. The hotel is everything you would expect from a Ritz Carlton (beautiful, clean, and wonderful service and food). I would like to call out both Tamas and Alexander for going out of they way to make each morning’s breakfast such a great experience; Alexander made us custom smoothies each morning and wasn’t satisfied until they were a thing of perfection. So nice all around. Well done Ritz Carlton Budapest!
