Stayed for several days at Intercontinental prior to going on Viking River Cruise. The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location to see the sights of Budapest. Room was comfortable with all the basic amenities. Had breakfast several mornings in the restaurant, all food and service was very good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful during our time there.
Walk out the front door and you on the Danube, with tree lined walkway filled with cafes.
Would definitely stay here again !

Hotel was very nice including the room. Very quiet and well. Soundproofed room. No noise. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. Front desk service was very attentive. Convenient location adjacent to the Danube River and all the major sites. Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay here. When the taxi dropped us off, I did have a panic from the outside appearance. However, pushing through the door was into luxury. Beautiful hotel with its own history and greeted by wonderful staff. The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception. Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening.
The hotel is situated in a lovely position if you want to walk, which we did regularly. The metro is close and easy to navigate thanks to leaflets from the hotel.
We only had breakfast from the hotel which was varied and delicious.
I would love to come back to Budapest and would use this hotel again.

The rooms are big and amenities are of good quality. The breakfast has many options for all taste and a really good Lebanese corner with fresh pita bread.
The service is super good and the gym is well equipped for a hotel one.
The location is the best you can get, looking at the palace near the bridge. Close to many good restaurants. Everything is reachable by foot.

This hotel is not new or modern, and wasn't renovated lately. However excellent maintenance keeps it in a very good form.
we were three couples and enjoyed our stay very much.
The rooms were very comfortable as well as the beds. Everything was super clean.
The location is the best in Budapest with options for getting anywhere on foot or by excellent public transportation.
The view from rooms facing the Danube is amazing, and there are very few hotels of this level with such a view.
The breakfast is nothing less than amazing. It is true that we have already stayed in hotels with a larger selection, but if the quality is at such a high level who needs more.
The staff was friendly and efficient, especially the room service.
The only criticism I have is the lack of a shower. I always prefer a shower to a bathtub, and unfortunately, the hotel has very few such rooms.

This was a great stay, primarily due to the view and location. These outweighed the average room and facility that measures more like a 4 star hotel. Service was good but not outstanding. We loved the terrace dining and the breakfast buffet was excellent with many good options, including made to order omelette. Included was cappuccinos to order However, we often had to chase down a waiter for coffee. The hallways are tired and dated and the rooms a bit as well. However,everything in our room was clean and comfortable

From booking to departure this was an amazing experience. The concierge team are totally brilliant, I have travelled all over the world and rarely found a team so willing to go out of their way to make you happy.
The rooms are good, the beds extremely comfortable and if you are lucky enough to have club room access the staff there are super.
Breakfast has a massive choice, catering for everyone.
We will definitely be back, but not when it is 36 degrees.

This was our favorite hotel during our 30 days traveling through Europe. The views are spectacular!!! The check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and quiet. The staff was amazing! The sidewalk bar area has the BEST views in the city. The sunset from the bar area is breathtaking.

Stayed here last month. As a platinum member our room was upgraded and had a beautiful view and walk in closet. Location is perfect, you can literally walk around the city to prime locations within 20 minutes. Breakfast was very nice and had a large variety of different foods as well as some nice Lebanese touches. Front desk and housekeeping are also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest.

Very nice hotel, located in the city centre just across from the Danube river. The rooms was fine, but there were a lot of broken assets, such as the window that didn’t close properly so we were kept up all night by the people in the pub just across the street. Their amenities was fine and normal for a hotel. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to get seated, because there were a lot of people in the breakfast restaurant. We also had some dinner there, it was descent food compared to others. The staff was nice and polite and overall the hotel was great, but not good enough so that they can advertise it as a five star hotel.
