Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest

Really amazing hotel. Rooms and building it self is awesome. Staff well trained, good wellness area with amazing wardrobe. Restaurant is very good, very good value for money. Breakfast is great with good food selection. But it would be nice if the room would be expensier and they would not charge extras on breakfast. The only bed thing was coffee, it was really bed. Evening cocktail were amazing great service and great snacks, live music, worth all the money. On Saturday was my birthday and they prepared three cakes for me, up on arrival, breakfast and evening. The best of the best was concierge service, they provide as tickets for opera where no body else could, they reserve restaurant New York cafe where no body else could get us reservation. They were really amazing.

Our family Christmas at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of art nouveau architecture, beautifully decorated for the festive season, which added to the magical ambiance.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the seamless check-in to the personalized touches in our room. The accommodations were stunning—spacious, elegant, and offering breathtaking views of the Danube and Chain Bridge.

The festive atmosphere extended to the dining experiences as well. The Christmas Eve dinner was a culinary delight, with each dish perfectly crafted. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and warm, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable evening.

The concierge team was exceptional, organizing activities for our family that allowed us to fully enjoy Budapest during the holidays. Whether it was ice skating by the castle or a private tour of the Christmas markets, their recommendations were spot-on.

Staying at the Gresham Palace truly elevated our Christmas experience. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a place where memories are created. We can’t wait to return to this magical destination!

We only stopped by for cocktails, but so nice we did it twice over a three day stay. Our second favourite hotel in Budapest if we were to come back. Great central location.

From the outside, this is a beautiful building with stunning architectural aspects. We did not stay here or get a chance to go inside so our review is limited to the outside features of the building only. The hotel is located near a beautiful small park across the street and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge.

I can’t speak for the rooms or hotel itself, but we visited for afternoon tea and dinner. The afternoon tea was such a delight - the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything was delicious. The china was beautiful. The seating was extremely cozy too. There was a pianist during our tea, which really just brought the entire experience together. I’d highly recommend visiting for tea!

The best hotel, with the best location we’ve ever had. Amazing staff, and services. While it’s not the most inexpensive place we’ve ever stayed, for the cost, as my wife always says, “it was worth it at twice the price.”

Amazing Dining Experience, and a Surprise Encounter!

This review isn’t about the hotel (though it was wonderful, with a surprise I’ll share at the end). It’s all about the restaurant. Everything was excellent—the service, the atmosphere, and even the fun detail of a Batman figure in each picture!

I especially loved discovering the Hungarian egg noodles with truffle, and the pistachio Paris-Brest was outstanding. Huge congratulations to the chef and pastry chef, especially since it’s not easy to please me with desserts outside of France.

And now for the surprise—when I was leaving, guess who I saw coming in? Arnold Schwarzenegger himself! I could tell he didn’t want to be disturbed, so I didn’t ask for a picture.

We were here for 3 days to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Impeccable service by the staff. Rooms so clean and luxurious. The breakfast was yummy!! The spa experience was very good ( recommend the spa service person - Dalma she was very good ). Location is fabulous just in front of chain bridge and walking distance to all major spots. Had a true luxury experience and little special touches of adding pink glitter shower gel, pink princess bedding etc made it extra special. Big thank you !!
