Novotel Budapest City

Hotel was good.
Service was nice.
Close to shopping mall.
In the basement they had bowling area.
Facility was good. Gym, swimming pool, salt room, sauna room.

but unfortunately the broken wall repaired with duct tape. And the other room, the door handle was fall down if you close the door.

Decent hotel approximately 2km from the tourist area (castle and river). Large parking space just in front of the hotel. Rooms are ok, clean but small single beds ( you may want to request twin beds).

We tried dinner as well as it was pouring rain, Food s ok but nothing special (perhaps better try a restaurant in town).

I was with my family for a few days around Christmas, so the hotel was full, and this did not bother us at all because we had peace (very good sound proof), enough space and very good food at breakfast, and every day we found a parking place . The hotel is clean and very warm and comfortable- I must mention that the night receptionist (we arrived around 11:00 PM) was the nicest person. I was pleasantly surprised to be named guest of the day and to receive some attention from the hotel for which I thank you. So a very good hotel that I recommend and we will definitely come back.

I stayed here for 5 days to attend a conference this November, the facilities, staff and experience were great. There was a few issues with elevators and room keys, but I can't fault the service at all. I found the staff to be friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I would particularly like to mention Balazs at the front desk for his friendly attitude and helpful nature. I recommend for anyone looking for good quality service for their conferences or events

Very nice hotel close to the city centre. The people and the team are always happy to help. I would also like to say a massive thank you to Adam, from the bar near the reception. He was kind and friendly, and made our stay extra special. Customer service at its finest. Grazie e a presto, Adam, it was great to meet you! Köszönöm!

The rooms are good. The place is kid friendly and staff are very attentive. It is very accessible to the city as there is a bus stop and tram station right in front of the hotel. There is a paid bar and bowling alley which is 10000 HUF to bowl. The pool however is indoor and small and very cold. There is a sauna and salt room but you have to ask reception for them to come with the key and turn on the sauna. The showers in the sauna area are clean. When it comes to the rooms the toilet seat is in a different tiny compact room than the shower and washbasin. Neither doors lock so there is no privacy. The beds are nice and big however they are two single beds pushed into one. The tvs are good, a lot of channels, good for watching euros. Breakfast is average to good and there are not a lot of options. The only downside of this hotel are the elevators, they are horrible. The elevator closed on my friend twice and we saw 3 other people get stuck between the elevator doors where the elevator is acting like it has no sensors. The worst time the elevator closed on someone was when we were inside and a man came with his kid. The elevator doors were about to close when he put his hand it to stop it from closing but this didn’t stop the elevator, it shut right on his hand and we panicked, from inside we could only see his hand and his fingers moving, the elevator was starting to move and we somehow hit the stop or else the guys hand would have been crushed on the roof.
