Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments in Budapest

One of the best hotels I stayed at. Firstly its a beautifly renovated old building located on a quiet street but central .
The receptionista and staff are the friendliest and helpful we met. They will do all for you with a smile. I told them my daughter celebrated her birthday on our stay and on arrival a kids champaign was waiting in the room for her with a letter and on the day of birthday a chocolate box was on our table and it made her super happy.
The room we stayed in was the standard which was quite big, the bed is wide and comfortable, kitchen is great to have with a fridge,Nesspresso machine and a microwave. Shower is small but was good enough. Everything very clean

Some things were missing but we chatted on whatsapp with the staff and received it.
Breakfast was ok. Pastries were very good. Coffee great but I lacked vriaty of vegetables and fruits. It was mostly continental-british. But you have lots of cafes around and even a no lactose no gluten restaurant in front.
I recommend the hotel and hopefully will return

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on our trip from sept 19 to sept 22 of 2025. This was the best hotel we stayed in on our Europe trip. The staff was awesome (Timea and Gabriella), the room was awesome, breakfast was great and above all location as well. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Budapest again. Thank you so much for making out stay wonderful.
FYI I had mistakenly put a wrong rating on booking.com review and I wasn’t able to correct it and in turn I ended up removing my review. BUT this hotel is awesome in everyway.

Excellent hotel, from walking in to booking out the service was excellent.
The room was spacious enough, nice little kitchen area, clean room , comfortable bed.
The bathroom was on the small side well compact is the best description but fully functional, no bath but a very good walk in shower.
The only thing I could say about the hotel and this is not the hotel it self but the a few very greedy customers, breakfast was good a fair choice of food, unfortunately unless you went early you would miss out on some items as I witnessed some visitors removing bags of breakfast items from the breakfast room after they had already eaten breakfast obviously to eat through out the day so they didn’t have to buy lunch , the problem was it had an impact on those other customers who came down for breakfast after 09:00.
But that’s the greed of individuals and not the hotels fault.

The rooms in Opera garden hotel were well appointed with everything you could need. They were tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and great shower. The sound proofing was great and there was no noise at night time.
Breakfast was excellent with good choices and the champagne was a lovely touch. The sangria in reception was also great.
The staff were so friendly and helpful all the time and even helped with an issue not due to the hotel after we left.
The location was very handy and we walked to most places we wanted to see.
We stayed for a week on this wonderful holiday. It is a hotel I will recommend to friends and family.

Lovely appt which we unfortunately didn’t spend that much time in because we were sightseeing 12 hours a day! The breakfast was nice, excellent coffee. Room clean, had everything we needed. Reception team helpful.
