Hotel Bristol

The whole experience in this hotel could have been nice if not for the staff including the manager. I booked a stay with a friend for 2 nights and one night only for me as the other person had to leave. I confirmed with staff during check-in if it is possible to stay in the same room or if I have to switch rooms and it was guaranteed to me that I can stay in the same room as before. To be sure, I checked again after breakfast at the day my friend left and they told me that I have to leave the room without any apology for the inconvenience (we are talking about a 4 star hotel here. They moved me to a ground level room with windows to the street, stinky air and stains in the bed sheet. Any request for me to change rooms or cancel the room were declined as well. In general I experienced very unfriendly behavior and the manager did nothing to compensate their mistake.

Overall, they did nothing to make up to a guest for their mistake and I think this is not acceptable in a four star hotel.

I am very dissapointed that time, at 10 the receptionist called me in the room to let me know it was check out time, usually I am used that it's later than 10:00 am, I told her I will do my best and I was out of the room 20 min later. On the phone she told me it would be an extra charge which I believed it was 10 euros but then she wanted 20 euros ! 1 euro a minute, this is a ripe off and you need to be more flexible with customers specially I have stayed at your hotel before and it is not like I left 2 hours later.

We booked for 3 people and when we got
there they gave us a messed up extra bed.
The Minute I laid in it, it kind of moved because it was not steady, but I said, "What the heck, it's only for a day."
When I wanted to check out, they claimed I broke it, and it Costs 500€and I should take some Part like 100 150 or 200 they literally gave me these choices. First of all how couldn't they know it was broken so fast and second of all how couldn't they know it was me who caused it....the bed is already broken and they're trying to pin it on someone.the manager can't recall her name with glasses even threatend to call the police and I said please do cuz I was 100% sure I didn't do that.
Long story short, you gotta watch it for this hotel and their tricks in general. In budapest, the city was beautiful. The other receptionists were nice, but unfortunately, this occurrence happened

The cheque for checking in was a nightmare so slow, took forever no assistance with luggage even though they known for 8wks that I was disabled to our room.
We was on bed ,and breakfast average ,breakfast mentioned to the waitress the food on the hot plate was stone cold, and the light element was not hot enough to keep cooked food safe from causing food poisoning.
They understood everything I said but nothing was done to rectify the situation.
The room was good but the shower 🚿 tray was dangerous and spungy felt like if you put your feet to close to the plug hole your feet would sink and my wifes only light and she felt unsafe using the walk in shower and the doors didn't meet up so water was going on to the flooring.we did mention it but nothing was done about it
