Hotel Savoy in Florence

Our experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, having to drive and valet in the heart of Florence, the service felt effortless and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member was incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect for exploring the city. Every minute of our time there was enjoyed to the fullest. Highly recommend the Hotel Savoy for an unforgettable stay.

After a year filled with its fair share of challenges, I walked into Hotel Savoy, and from the moment I arrived, I felt like all my worries began to melt away.

The check-in experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff greeted me with such warmth and genuine hospitality that I immediately felt like I was home.

I recently stayed for two nights at this hotel with my wife and daughter, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The comfort was excellent in every aspect – from the quality of sleep to the impeccable cleanliness of the entire place.

The staff, in addition to being extremely professional, were also well-prepared and attentive to all our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The food was excellent and refined, from breakfast to dinner, with high-quality products throughout.

One thing we particularly appreciated was the great attention to detail: nothing is left to chance. From the furnishings to the room accessories, everything is designed to make guests feel truly cared for.

The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable, and, most importantly, quiet – perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation, even in the heart of the city.

Beautiful hotel; incredible service…within the first few hours, the entire staff knew our name. They made it a point to learn our names and make the experience seem intimate. The food at Irene was wonderful. Room service was timely and got our orders right (this rarely happens). The service was great. Beautiful hotel; large bathrooms, lovely bathtub. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

I wish I could give Hotel Savoy additional stars. Five star hotels across the world are not equal and our trip, which has included only five star hotels, has illustrated that point to us again. A stay is not simply about luxury but also about a level of service and the small details which add up to a big difference in quality and experience. Hotel Savoy ‘gets it.’ We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom suite which included a large living room, bedroom, and beautifully appointed bathroom. The high ceilings of our room were lovely and the decor of the spaces were lovely. Evening turndown brought both still and sparkling waters, slippers, and night cream - what a thoughtful touch. We were delighted by the fresh fruit and flowers as well as the local wine and chocolate which greeted us as well. Here is where the small details stood out: upon arriving back to our suite I found that each pair of my reading glasses was placed on a small cleaning cloth. Bookmarks were carefully placed in our books. My makeup was placed on a fresh linen. This shows an attention to detail which we have not experienced at our other ‘five star’ hotels’ this stay and it has made a big difference in my opinion of the hotel. The staff of the property were each very friendly and helpful, offering ideas for restaurants and places to see, even offering to unpack and then repack our suitcases. We did not encounter one person who did not smile. Breakfast was perfect for us as lighter eaters. There is the option to order additional hot items if the buffet is not enough. I personally found the pastries to be incredibly delicious! The bar/lounge was also comfortable and enjoyable for an afternoon drink and nightcap. We have been to Florence before and stayed at the Four Seasons, which is also lovely but not centrally located. The central location put the Savoy, in our opinion, especially when factored with the great service and beautiful accommodation, above that other experience. I had begun to wonder if ‘five stars’ was not what it used to be….the Hotel Savoy restored my faith and made our stay in Florence even better than we could have imagined.

Great hotel right in center of Florence! Nice rooms (we had 2 connecting rooms for my husband and me and our children). Breakfast was great, everyone who worked at the hotel was very helpful and kind, nice common spaces, air conditioning worked great during a heat wave. Would definitely recommend!

From moment we entered Hotel Savoy I knew it was going to be an amazing experience. We were greeted with such warmth and pleasantness. Their room was absolutely beautiful and all of the amenities are amazing.
I was celebrating a special birthday and the team decorated my bedroom with happy birthday decorations, and all these beautiful goodies all to my surprise. It was such a thrill and I appreciated it all so much.
We also loved the bar room. The bartender made the best drinks and the outside restaurant was amazing and great for people watching.
The staff could not be more helpful, accessing us transportation to our next destination And I miss them all already. If you want a once in a lifetime experience in Florence stay there, Not to mention, the location was the best!!!

The hotel is fantastically positioned in central Florence and the staff were all exceptionally attentive and helpful.

Simply fabulous hotel. We had two weeks in Umbria in a wonderful quiet villa in the hills (pool, sun, gorgeous food and stars every night, etc) and decided to end the holiday with a couple of nights of luxury in Florence. Perfect hotel. Brilliant location in the city centre close to all the major attractions. What a beautiful hotel. We had been used to c.37 degree temperatures but this cool (so cool air conditioning), exquisite hotel was just what we needed. Thousand thread cotton bed sheets, marble bathroom, delicious breakfast, friendly staff and attentive service. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my family for a one-week vacation, and I have to say — I would happily relive every single day.
The rooms were beautiful, spacious, spotless, and we had a lovely view of the plaza.
The service was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
