Mandarin Oriental, Milan in Milan

Wait, I'm still dreaming. Yes, I've spent three fantastic, dreamlike days in the center of Milan at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. I was surrounded by oriental scents, by fantastic staff in every area—the lobby, the reception, the concierge, the spa. I had the opportunity to meet Maria, a true hair professional. She gave me a color and a color that perfectly suited my needs.
AT THE END THE RESTAURANT WAS SUPER GOOD. I'll definitely be back to be pampered. Greetings to everyone and happy holidays!

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The property is really beautiful and because its set back from the main road feels wonderfully quiet and private. The gym, pool and spa were the perfect start and end to the day.

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Milan for five nights and at the Mandarin Oriental in Como for two nights. Both experiences were incredible. However, I must give special compliments to the team at the Mandarin Oriental Milan, especially to Enrico, the hotel manager, who was extremely courteou, he made a point of personally greeting us, escorting us to our room, and seeing us off when we left.

All the staff at the reception and concierge were outstanding. The head concierge,whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, was exceptionally efficient, helping us with everything, from getting opera tickets to securing tickets to see The Last Supper.

So, only praise and the best recommendations for both Mandarins. The Milan team was truly sensational, and the Como team was also very kind and attention,but the hotel itself there is already a masterpiece.

We had a very relaxing four nights at the hotel in Milan. Room was very well appointed and the location of the hotel wonderful for walking to all the important sights. Breakfast was excellent. We did find the dining room for breakfast a little dark and I think that is just down to the decoration with the dark high glaze tiles. Concierge service and reception was excellent and answered all our queries and gave us the advice we needed. The transfer to and from the airport was perfect. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

That experience at the Mandarin Oriental in Milan was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and the service level was beyond extraordinary. Check-in was smooth and very easy, as was the checkout process.Within a few hours almost every person we ran into knew our names and acknowledged us when we walked past them. The concierge was extremely helpful and I’d like to mention Alexandra, she was delightful to work with. We took advantage of the Spa, as well as the outside lounge/restaurant for cocktails before we headed out for dinner. The shuttle service to various locations within the inner city was extremely convenient and we agreed that this perk made our stay, even that much better. Our room/Jr suite was spacious and well appointed. The balcony was a plus, because we kept the door open for fresh air often. when we were in the room. During our stay we had breakfast each morning and the Gordan restaurant and it was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit and options to satisfy the most discerning pallet. William, the restaurant manager was present most of the time and always made sure we were taken care of properly. I would highly recommend staying at the Mandarin Oriental Milan! We truly enjoyed our stay!

A true gem in the heart of Milan, the Mandarin Oriental. From the moment we arrived the hotel’s hospitality was outstanding. With our early arrival our rooms were not ready and we were invited to the Mandarin Garden for an afternoon drink. We were warmly greeted by Stephanie Greger, General Manager and Guglielmo Miriello, Director of Mandarin Garden.

We had a wonderful conversation with Stephanie and we learned we had a common friend, Sophia Peluso, General Manager, Villa San Michele in Florence. Stephanie has orchestrated a hotel dynamic of impeccable customer service and professionalism.

I expressed to Guglielmo that my wife Judy is an amateur chef. Without hesitation, Guglielmo whisked us off to the kitchen to meet Antonio Guida, Executive Chef. He explained his signature dish, Rosotto with dusted raspberries. What a wonderful memorable experience.

Our suite was elegant, spacious, and well appointed. Sophisticated design and style with hardwood floors, customized furniture, and walnut wood panels.

Our group of four was invited to Seta’s private dining room. We indulged in the chef‘s table tasting menu. The meal was sophisticated and refined with a contemporary Italian flair. Compliments to Executive Chef, Antonio Guida.

The Mandarin Oriental, Milan is within walking distance to many of the cities attractions. Located in the heart of fashion, the MO is polished cultured sophistication. We look forward to our return visit.

Undeniably amongst the best service and attention we have ever received. The attention to detail, the continuous welcomes were above our expectations. The restaurant garden is definitely a must for elevated dining. The MO Spa is the city’s best kept secret. Its underground pool is so inviting. Add a treatment throughout your stay.

The service was five star from beginning to end. The room was beautiful and clean and the location was ideal. We ate one of the best meals of our trip at their restaurant. We also stopped back in the restaurant after a very hot day in Milan and ordered some desserts and drinks that were literally the best desserts we’ve ever had. Cannot recommend enough!

The hotel is good, I hope you can come again next time
